- Warriors is an absolutely massive series spanning over 20 years and 100 stories worth of content, not to mention the even greater sum of fan content produced over the years in the form of art, writing, analysis, animation, games, roleplay, and more. Getting into it enough to even understand what’s being said in this fandom is therefore quite a challenge, but hopefully, today, we can at least start you down the right path.

Into the Wild still sells thousands of copies every year, I seriously hope those new fans don't get intimated by the sheer mass of content that the series has become.
I'm still catching up, it's taken me a year. I started listening to the audiobooks on Libby cuz it was taking me too long to visually read them. I'm now on the third book of the latest arc 🎉
@@tinycanlid5 congrats on getting caught up with the series. I did the same thing during The Broken Code arc, trying to catch up on everything I'd missed. Still can't believe this series has been around for 21 years and counting.
I lost track of Warriors during the new Prophecy, due to school and what-not. Eventually found my way back during the middle of The Broken Code, and needless to say I was taken aback by just how much there was, both from the books and Fandom. With help from the wiki and of course content creators such as yourself, I was able to eventually get caught up with everything. It honestly felt like a huge project to undertake over those years, but happy I did it.
I was always so turned off by soap operas… and then I got sucked into Warrior Cats. Totally convoluted, but also totally worth it!
I hope your introduction to it convinces other people to pick it up without being too intimidated.
I’m 24 and I’ve loved Warriors since elementary school, I remember picking up Into the Wild one day in First Grade and my teacher being impressed I picked up such an “advanced book” but I really just loved animals and there were cats on the cover. From 2006-2014 I was an avid fan of the series, always picking up new books on release date and writing fan fiction on a site where I was even an admin. These days, I haven’t actually read the books in a long time but I still keep up with the lore because a lot of the classic characters (Arcs 1-4) still mean a lot to me and I’m interested to see where their stories go even if I don’t have time to catch up with all the books that I have missed!
Wished this guide existed when I started getting into the fandom. To be fair, I didn't do any prior research, but I just read the main arcs, one after the other, until I was done with arc 7 before reading the supereditions and novellas in random order. It was very fun to go onto the internet to search up what SkyClan was and how Sandstorm knew about it.
The timeline image you clearly spent so much time on really put into perspective how complex this series is chronologically. (Something I probably take for granted as a long time fan haha)
Also the way you described the paws of the stars powers in the summary really got me. Esp. the he can't get hurt, except when he does/he can lose fights, except when he does part lmao.
Thank you for putting the books in chronological order. It's quite interesting seeing it in that way. As an audiobook listener, I've missed most of the novellas and the mangas for they aren't available like the main books and super additions. and is a somewhat useful tool for the story I'm thinking of making.

I was introduced to warriors in kindergarten (I know, how!) For context, I was at a freshman reading level by the end of kindergarten, and in the second grade I was already at a collegiate one. I was caught up to the end of AVOS in the middle of first grade. The books are daunting, especially to a kid who could barely pick them up, but their intriguing and I’m way to invested to just leave the fandom/stop reading them
When my brother is old enough, I'm going to show this video to him so he can learn before reading the books :D

I love Warrior Cats it is one of my favorite book series of all time even though I'm 14 and people say it is for little kids.

Very helpful video! I started reading Warriors about 2 or 3 years ago, but I stayed 1 year without read them because only the first arc was wrote in my language! After this 1 year, I discovered that this series has many books than I ever thought and I started going every time more deeply into the community and the history.
Now I’m reading POT, and after that I’m going to OOTS, and DOTC. I’m planning to read ALL the books (in chronological order) (I’m a bit crazy Ik haha) and… Ik I only read 22 books at the time I’m writing this, but I’m a big fan of this series and don’t plan to go out of these books of cats fighting so early >:)

Warriors began being translated into my language in 2013, so it was easy for me to start the series from the beginning despite joining the fandom so late (2016).

Yup. That's usually how the internet works, people post whenever their videos are ready to go up, or on a schedule (for example, Moonkitti has a weekly schedule). It's not planned, even in niche communities like this one
