I’m like a size 10 on the Harden vol 7s, would I also be a size 10 for the encore? or should i do 10.5? I heard WOW a little tighter?
Thanks man I appreciate it. So I would say you should go same size as you did for adidas. The wow10 ran a bit smaller by like half a size, but asides that, most of my Wade brand shoes fit tts
@@vladimirlaptev8750 after playing in them both some more, personally I might just edge the regulars just because the pair I got for the encores had one foot that was too tight in the midfoot and the lace pressure didnt help, although I love the cushion setup in the encores. As for sizing, I would go the same size as you went with your vol7.
I like them a lot too bro. On court they've performed great so far. Only knocks I would say is that they pick up dust fairly quickly and you need to break them in to get past the slight discomfort in the upper midfoot. Let me know if you have any more things you'd like to know specifically bro.
@@theshoesayer interesting that they went with something that picks up dust given how much success they've had w/ their rubber compounds. maybe it reduces a lot of weight... it looks like the same stuff on the wow 11... is that the case? i forget in your review if you mention that
@@mysteryfollowedbylogic Yeah its the same exact material. Their CGU compound, its found on the Yu shuai 18 as well but picks up less dust in that implementation. My opinion on the dust pick up issue is from the traction pattern as well, they should have gone reasonably spaced regular herringbone or radial with deep groves, but they went with some flattened out pattern especially in the forefoot, so they didnt give the compound a real chance. The wipe is simple enough but as you said, just stick to what works.

Thanks bro... yeah the Chinese brands are killing it!! You should definitely try the AC12s if you can get them shipped.. thanks for the sub and support man!! Really appreciate it. Let me know if you need any more info.
Got you bro. I'll try to line that up. They're quite solid, however the cushion is more responsive than it is bouncy or lofty. They also have great traction. A solid budget option for sure.
Thanks for doing this video. Very helpful since you cannot return them free. The "All City 12" seem like they are not flat on the bottom. They bias your feet to turn inwards. Maybe this is to help you avoid ankle sprains. Are the Encore's the same?
Traction traction traction. These have similar features and outsoles of the WOW 11s which I’ve played in twice. The performance on dusty courts are poor but they may need time to break in the traction.
Yeah the traction on a dusty court is indeed not the best. They somehow managed to implement the CGU traction on the yu shuai line in a less effective way.
Wow 10 is best for impact protection in the rearfoot, Wow 11 is best for impact protection overall, AC 12 is decent. In terms of fit, I would say AC 12 is the best, however if you're a wide footer, WoW 11 is best.
In your opinion do you think the 12 Encore beats out the All City 12 in overall performance? I play indoors, so outsole durability isn't so important to me, but dust pick up is...do you think the solid rubber might fare better on dust?
In terms of Bounce, how would you score them? (Out of 5) I wish to buy a basketball shoe that is durable for both outdoors and indoors, lightweight with good ankle support and a good bounce to it. Which one of these models would you recommend more?
So I would strike the encores out because they aren't durable for outdoors. I would give the regular AC 12s a solid 3.5 for bounce, so it's the better of the two for your purposes. However based on your specs i would say go for the Wade 808 4 ultra. It's bouncier than these and has a midfoot strap for better lock down and support. If you prefer something mid to high top. You could go with the Big 3 5.0 Pro PE. Let me know if you don't like those and I can suggest something else as well.
Yeah, its great on the Yu shuai series, but here instead of doing standard grooves, there are a more flat surfaces which make it pick up dust a bit easier. Similar implementation on the WoW 11s. So its not awful on dust pick up, just not the best out there.
Yeah they definitely have a wider base. Especially in the forefoot. I like the room, it makes for a more comfortable ride as a have a slightly wide foot.
@@theshoesayer So the Outrigger/ Base are wider than in the 2024 AC12? I’ve got some issues with ankle sprains and don’t know if I should wait for the encores or if I should buy the old AC 12 😅
I would go go for the ac12 sunshine state personally for volley-ball, just because it's generally more comfortable so far, and has slightly better courtfeel. Only downside if you play on a concrete court is that the upper of the AC 12 sunshine isn't the most durable.
Great video helped me alot thanks. Just wondering if the heel on the encores impacts you at all while playing basketball like it is annoying or does it feel like its not their?I just dont want to buy them and then that heel feels so weird playing in.
Thanks!!!... The heel isnt annoying to play with, the plastic isnt that tough and the boom cushion compresses nicely on top of it. So it didn't feel weird for me.
