Kinda crazy, last year around May i was encouraged to get my CDL after losing my job due to covid. I searched videos after my conversation with family friend who is a trucker and found this channel and her talking about becoming a trucker. She was sitting in an emptyish apartment talking about trucking. First trucking video I watched. By the end of that year I got my CDL and I'm currently a fuel hauler. Just turned 40. Life is crazy man. Love the trucking community.
I've seen him on the road! On I80 I94, he passed me and I saw this red beauty to my left and the words "Cant Afford It" on the back. It was the most beautiful truck I've ever seen, certainly stood out.
A Gorgeous " Pete " . Immaculate front to back . Jimmy and his Family and Friends have built a Piece of Working Art there . A Total Credit to them . This seems like a Great Series for you to pursue , Shelby . You are SO personable , and Interview really well . And DAMN , you really ARE a Tiny Lady . Cheers from Australia .
Shelby, how nice, your work is fantastic. Looking forward to this series, your enthusiasm is so wonderful, no wonder folks feel comfortable with you, Dakota is missing. Poor puppy 🤣
Great idea for a series Shelby, loved it. Could I request that in future videos you show more of the truck itself (interior, engine running, full walk around etc)? The detail from the owners is great but that would be better as a narration. But gawd, what a gorgeous rig. :-)
Fabulous idea for a series. Always was a fan of customising going back to 'Hot Rod' magazine in the 50's. Trucks and Bikes are the top rank for shows. Well done and more of this please. I'd have a vehicle like but 'I can't afford it'.
I really enjoyed watching this video as well all your other videos. I’ve never been been a driver or been in the industry but always had a deep appreciation for the truck rigs and their drivers. Well done.
Nice video Shelby, you could be an anchor for a top rated news channels, all asked all the right questions allowing for the proper answers. I don't comment as much as I would like, but I always watch and give you a big thumbs up. Have a blessed day, week, month and year. Keep the video's coming! :)
I see that local truck a lot along with a few others 👍..... by the way about a month ago I am sure I seen you Shelby in Indiana going down the road "at least the company name on the truck". The 6 man drive team I was with made a run to OH & MI to pick up cars, one long 21hr straight through run so show chrome is nice to see working.
I also built a show stopper pickup but totally by accident, the paint and body work I told them specifically it is not a show truck but it turned out gorgeous. Same thing at the chrome shop, they gave me show chrome, same with the upholsterer, beautiful. Bottom line is I don't even take it around the block. People see it sitting in the garage, ring my bell wanting to know if they can take pics of it. I know what it appraised for and I to cannot afford to buy my own truck, hahaha. I have 4 grandsons all have zero interest in owning it after I'm gone...sad
I am from Poland, when I watch your films and think about our European transport and the size of the rolling stock, you make great admiration and respect and the width I wish you😎😅
Hi, have you ever done a video about the prerequisites to becoming a truck driver (qualifications, personality traits, training, etc) to becoming a truck driver? Or you about one about tips for how to handle your time of the month while on the road (I totally understand if this one feels too personal for you)? Now, for the record, I am NOT interested in becoming a truck driver, but I was thinking about those of us who ARE interested.
How come you're not doing OTR videos anymore? I personally liked them cause I can't do it, so it was cool to be able to watch an learn! This was cool too, though.
Shelby love your new segment "welcome To My Rig"----Hope to see more and more rigs/trucks. Now I am a Bigger Fan. Thank you. Love your channel to begin with
Beautiful truck and a great idea on the series. Unfortunately you didnt show all of the details he explained. I would have preferred to see a lot more of the truck, engine the rear end was barely shown. Thank you.
What a great looking truck. From front 2 back. Wow! I love you new show young lady. Great idea. Does this mean you aren't driving right now? Have a blessed weekend.💕
Hi Shelby, first I want to congratulate you on 250,000 subscribers to the HBTM channel, that's awesome! Seeing your passion for these rigs, I wish you will get your own HBTM Community Show Truck someday. Best regards from Germany
Awesome serie, looking forward for more! The story behind this truck is just amazing, I'm not a Show truck fan myself, as I love the work horse look instead, but this one is one of the best looking truck I've seen!
Love the new series and your amazing enthusiasm, that is one amazing rig and awesome story behind the build and he’s has fantastic family and friends as they all support him. Congratulations to him for making on the shell calendar. Can’t wait to see more of these amazing trucks🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hooray, my wish came true to see some in-depth stories of these amazing rigs! Thanks for the interviews, Shelby! I think I'd be one of the drive-off-the-road gawkers for sure if I ever encountered one of these out in the interstate. 😄 It's been a long time since I've seen a spiffed-up owners rig. Most of the trucks around Charleston, SC are hauling shipping containers to and fro from the ports.

That 4 year old Son Tore me Up! I'm so Proud of You Shelby !!! Thanks for Interviewing and sharing The Sunshine on Your Teeth!!!!
What a great idea for a series. Looking forward to more! You have a real knack for getting people to talk comfortably with you in interviews.
As a truck polisher myself, It's a rewarding experience doing work for guy's like Jimmy, great video 👍
I've seen him on the road! On I80 I94, he passed me and I saw this red beauty to my left and the words "Cant Afford It" on the back. It was the most beautiful truck I've ever seen, certainly stood out.
Only the Best roads for the Best trucks.... that should be a song title? LOL... Thats a Lot of Beautiful... right there!... Cheers Blessings!
Always good to have the picture of the fam on the dash. It reminds us why we make the sacrifice.

Jimmy seems like a great down to earth guy that's more important than the truck and he did a great job on it as well
them trucks have come along way since i drove which was 1983 thru1998.still back then had the cabovers transtar2s and the 352 and 362 petes
Shelby, how nice, your work is fantastic. Looking forward to this series, your enthusiasm is so wonderful, no wonder folks feel comfortable with you, Dakota is missing. Poor puppy 🤣
She’ll be back
@@ShelbyHBTM I love you girlfriend
So cool to hear his story!!!!! I’ve spotted his truck 3 times once on 294, 290, and the truck show this year in Waupun 😎💪🏼🔥
Driving is a blessing and you don't know it until it is gone.
Awesome video sister! I really enjoyed it.

Right ...show the truck !!!
Hi Shelby, love the "Welcome to my Rig" and what a beautiful Pete/Rig. ❤ And I love the unique name. 😍
Welp I guess “ Can’t afford it” is a great money Management Tool it kept him from spending with friends 🙌🏽 adding that to my strategy’s
Beautiful!!!!!!! And I appreciate everyone of you. Without truckers America doesn’t survive thank you stay safe and well Artie ❤️🇺🇸

🤩 I was imagining the feeling of feeling this machine on the road is a lot of emotion. 💓💓💓
I so love happiness by the mile because she loves what's she do
I like how he painted the back doors on the trailer, it sucks when the sun is going down and it’s shining on the Crome, blinding the driver behind him
I really enjoyed watching this video as well all your other videos. I’ve never been been a driver or been in the industry but always had a deep appreciation for the truck rigs and their drivers. Well done.
Me too. I love it so much!
I'd be worried about driving that across a parking lot, let alone having it on the road 52 wk/yr .. amazing work and detail.
Eby trailers is a few minutes from me, a neighbor is one of the engineers.

I love the Big hood Petes and Kws. That is a very sharp Rig brother.! 👍🤘

One of the nicest flat top 389s I've seen in awhile.
It doesn't get much better than a working show truck!
Can't Afford it! Really great name and an awesome looking stretched truck. Congrats on getting this on the Calendar.
I love his blue jeans. Only few make something like this these days. When I was a kid, everyone wore the same (about).
Red and Crome are the colors of the roman legions. At least in movies and Cartoons. Thats why they are so popular
I am from Poland, when I watch your films and think about our European transport and the size of the rolling stock, you make great admiration and respect and
the width I wish you😎😅
Very Cool Truck, I like hearing the old Detroit 2 stroke diesel in the background at about 16:02.
I hope you still do your vlog on you truck driving!!!
