As soon as you realize that they don't care about your gameplay and only about duping you out of some cash, you will start enjoying whats there. Truth is.. none of this matters to most of the players because most of them are not at these levels of competition. If you start not giving a crap about these events, Its actually a decent game again.

I hate everything about the Captain Britain release. Everything. Crucible was my favorite game mode, but who knows how long that lasts. I’m still playing because I genuinely enjoy the game, but this is a mountain of sh*t. F*ck scopely and f*ck their greed.
Also, fwiw, you and Mobile are my top two sources for Marvel Strike Force insights and guidance. The only two I watch without hesitation. Thanks for that, and I hope the gaff isn’t an issue for anyone.
I think Remanx leaking some posted pictures just shows his only desire to gain some views. With every single controversy he yaps all there is to yap and tries to play devils advocate. I’m greatly peeved about the CB change. IMO the devs overstepped. I didn’t have the biggest issue with cb’s release. I thought it was overkill to not let f2p unlock, but I get Scopely needs to test and fix monetization. I don’t have a problem with the last set of Illuminati buffs or the Hank buff. That fixes the way the team performs. The devs should fix that. That’s not the case with the CB change announced today. Players came up with a legitimate counter to the way Illuminati was intended to be designed. It was the job of players, not the devs, to make an adjustment to counter that counter. That’s what cc is supposed to be all about. It’s 100% trash for the devs to undermine and penalize players for coming up with counters to teams. And make no mistake about it, that’s what is happening in this case. Players are supposed to be playing against other players; not the devs. Players should not be getting devs to fight their battles for them. Some teams are better on offense. Period. If a player keeps trying to stick a square peg through a round hole, that is the player’s problem. The devs shouldn’t be changing the round hole into a square one.

Look, if you market something as top of the line, it should be top of the line, period. Britain has super limited shelf life, because by the time he is unvaulted, he is not going to matter because we'll be knee deep in Surfer 2.0 meta teams. He is in effect the Red Skull of modern MSF times. Fun in the mode for a few weeks, then the counter comes out naturally (Black Bolt's 2nd unlock run came very close to Red Skulls initial release, which almost instantly devalued the whole team). The fact that the Surfer 2.0 stats increase didn't start with him specifically is odd to me, because Scopely of course knows that the vast majority of people that get him, likely are not going to get him past 5* because it is a massive increase in overall cost to do so. Of course the krakens are going to Kraken, that's fine and expected - but the lower parts of the spender stack is going to suffer for it, while still have spent a fair chunk of the monthly budget on the unlock event. I would turn that around and ask; Is that fair?

I think most ppl will think it’s a good thing that the devs listened to player feedback regarding the team and cb. And yes, I listened to the video and read the post. In both, the devs said they were making the change to cb to help outside of cc. If that were true (which Dorky was also skeptical of), then they could have just made his new passive work outside of cc only. In other words, I don’t believe them. I think it was a rationalization in order to take away a counter players came up with. The real question is, if the devs didn’t think they were doing anything wrong, why mislead about why they were making the change?
I agree, especially because Illuminati doesn’t HAVE to be the full 5 team. If sup6+emma beats Illuminati then people could sub out Mr fan or Bb for something like Apoc or Skrull to secure the team. And that in my opinion is how crucible has worked so far and should continue to be the case. Like you said though the Hank buff it whatever. They aren’t gonna ruin war or anything with it and it makes them a better team for people to use in other flash modes
they do not suck without CB. with the eventually ftp team (after hank release) they are beating superior 6 and black knight teams to name a couple. you have your rage blinders on... also with speed up in war they become a great alternative for mid game players rather than building older war teams.

I watched you, jguisti, dulom, anyone who i could steal defenses and attacks from in cc every week. This buff does nothing to bridge the gap between the have and have not's of Captain Britain. They only did this to make the people who like war happy. It's absolutely ok if a team sucks outside of their game mode. If someone hates playing crucible they shouldn't be forced to build a crucible team to play in other game modes.
Everytime people find a counter they have to buff them "how dare you theorycraft against our new team"
