My local hobby store has one of the reissues in stock. I was going to do a custom Axial Wraith scale build until I saw this and now I don't know. This would make an awesome scaler
Like the part easy to assemble kits, time consuming and near impossible if you get the original issue with Japanese instructions but trial and error these are pure awesome rc trucks.
It's ironic that these two should appear in the Tamiya commercial together, since the Cheetah was an obvious copy of the XR311 and the Americans were the none too happy about it.
I've an untouched original Kit of 1977 of the XR-311. Really nice Video. Great childhood memories!

I have the original XR311 with more videos. It's almost ready for the road.
can someone tell me id the stock tires from this kit will fit a regular 1/10 scale wheel?
