Everybody is hating on the narrator, but that was generally the narration style from the 40s up until around the 80s I would say. It's just the way they did it back then.
No. I have seen 50’s B-movies with narration delivered a thousand times more enthusiastically than this. This isn’t ‘the way it was’, it’s crap even for the time.
Imagine if this commercial was ever on TV it’s over 2 1/2 minutes long The narrator doesn’t sound like he’s reading from a script he pauses as if he doesn’t understand what he is saying
The narration and music belonged to an older gentler time...younger people will neither appreciate it nor understand it sadly...but hey it is what it is! What I really want to know is how do they make them pop wheelies seemingly so easily or is this in slow mo?

@@Mr_Bunk Agree, this guy is normally very good at the narration, he seemed distracted during the Wild Willy ad.
The narration is just blabber, but everytime a Wild Willy is pulling a wheelie it just puts a smile on my face...coolest RC car ever!
THE BEST CAR IN RC FOR EVER !!!!!!
This commercial guy sounds so enthused.

I'm not..... the.....only.......... one 😂
Power.....from....the....540....MOTOR
Tamiya is always impressive all the time
It was my childhood dream what I never got it! Maybe this year when I had 50 years birthday
They need to bring those back they would sell like hotcakes even the longer wheelbase of the old style.

Ah yes, the lunchbox but fancier.
I thought that the Lunchbox was based off the Blackfoot. Or was the Blackfoot based on the Willy as well?
Where is the annoncer these days??
It’s where it all started
Did this guy have a script or was he just saying what came into his head while watching 😂
He might be reading a script written in Japanese and translating on the fly.
I think he used the script to roll a joint then shared it with the music production crew and imagined himself driving the wild willy while narrating.
He got off to a good start and then seemed to get a bit lost.
Holy shit, this is gold. That was the worst narration I've ever heard!
competition was maruia toyota fj7 landcruiser similar to bigbear chassis, pulled wheelies also.
So cool man 👆👍
They should have hired Don LaFontaine for the narration.
But is it versatile???
Ancient Alien Researchers say : YES !
Is that the TAMIYA factory in CEBU PHILIPPINES?
Kantot
LIKED & SUBSCRIBED
Is that a young Joe Biden doing the voice over ?
01:05 Yesterday Once More!
yessssss ! :)
Pretty much every single thing the narrator says is a blatant lie. Still, this is the greatest RC model ever produced.
I love Tamiya. 23 years of pure lose with this company and their cars. But I have to admit, this is cheesy 😅
music track is too loud
Hurry! We need to go back to the eighties and tell them that their sound in the commercial is shit!
@@Chris_Love I’d do it just to tell them to sack the narrator and find someone who sounds like they give a shit.
