- We are covering Washoe Valley as well as a couple lakes and a small fishing pond. A lot of people aren't familiar with Washoe Lake and its proximity to Reno Nevada, as well as Carson City. You have spectacular mountain views, as well as lake views if you are close enough to Washoe Lake, or small Washoe Lake. Washoe Valley is great for anyone wanting a little more room yet wanting to be zoned for solid schools. You can either look at the East side of Washoe Valley for Horse property, or the West side of Washoe Valley for an actual ranch... reach out to us and we'll figure it out together.
Another great video guys. I grew up in Reno and then headed away to Big Ten and U of Chicago country. May I suggest a video on what, I believe, has been dubbed the Interlaken Neighborhood, which is West of Plumb Lane and North of Arlington and behind the Mapes Mansion. I remember a lot of great mid-century modern houses that could give Palm Springs a run for its money.

We used to drive past Redfield's place, going to visit my aunt. 😊
My sisters ' favorite was a big white house overlooking Reno High. My favorite was a Tuscan style mansion that my dad told me had been Clara Bow's and had been the site of some wild parties.
@@jeanfrancis8121 I lived just on the west side of Plumas from the Redfield mansion. I remember when he died, and the armored cars were outside loading up the giant bags of silver and gold coins that he had hoarded in the basement. A couple years later, and I was their paper boy. I would ride my bike up that winding driveway to the old stone mansion and throw their morning newspaper at the front door.

You are absolutely correct. By far, my favorite neighborhood in all of Reno. We did a midtown video and encompassed Old Southwest Reno, but need it needs its own video!!! Thank you for the feedback.
