I already knew them and noticed one of their song in the game, I was so happy this band got the chance to be the soundtrack in one of the funniest games I've ever played!
came here from KF 2, this band deserves a hell of a lot more fans, I also respect that they're very open about their faith
I think that that's part of the reason that they don't have as many fans as they deserve.

Ryan Clark's voice is amazing...how he can go from growl to melodious tenor in the same line, is nothing short of a gift from God.
He apparently doesn’t though. At least in World is a Thorn and True Defiance. He said he records all the singing parts first and then the screaming parts. However, I’m not sure about the albums before that.
Saw them play Infected last night, he did great with his growls and cleans

Demon Hunter's early work was much heavier in my opinion because Ryan's vocals had a fuller sounding scream.

Completely agree, remember waiting for what seemed like years for the "self-titled" album to finally come out (and it was definitely worth the wait!) & loved the next few albums as well. But after hearing Storm the Gates of Hell I had lost interest @ the fact that they seemed to have lost their edge on that one (although my recent discovery of their BA output since then has been greatly reassuring : )

@@trashcanhands19 100%. I was obsessed with their self titled, Summer of Darkness and Triptych. Never listened to anything else by them. 15 years later and it's still amazing.
It's just more dirty, but then you go onto listen to songs like Jesus Wept from their second latest album, or Lesser Gods from their latest, it's cleaner, but it's still REALLY heavy.

Reading through the comments, its crazy to see people are just having found out about demon hunter within the last several months, seeing I've been a fan of their's for about 12-13 years.....lol I think it's cool that their music is still relevant after all this time. We are the Undying!
I remember being five years old and receiving a handwritten letter and shirt from Ryan in the mail. Sadly, I have lost both items in multiple moves from house to house but I can't wait to see you guys for the first time next month!
This brings back memories from high school, I was 15 years old and loved this band so much I'd spend the entire day listening to them, still think their music holds up to this day

First song I ever heard from you guys, literally half a life ago for me. I had no idea at the time that Ryan was both the growl and the regular singer. I remember saying, the lead singer is amazing. All these years later, yes, Ryan is an amazing vocalist.

man I remember demon hunter when I was in oh say the 6th grade, which by the way I am a senior in high school, and how this band got me hooked on heavy metal, I used to listen to pop, rap, and crap like that, but I am glad that I found this band, and by the way I found this song in X2003 yeah that long ago.
