Who's wouldn't want her for a best friend. She's so humble, honest, wise with so much natural humor. The questions were the most thoughtful of any talk show host I've seen, this provided the depth that Anna was willing and able to give allowing us to know her. What a gem of a person. ❤

I found this because of TikTok and her new movie Alice,Darling and I have to say I think she’s amazing and she’s my favorite actress. She’s come so far in her career and she’s gonna do so much more and I wanna be there for it. She’s got incredible talent.

Absolutely. That movie gave me the chills, was with a sociopath for almost two years, still have PTSD from it. Some parts were just so... unnerving to watch.

This interview goes for nearly 82 minutes and it still wasn't enough for me. I wanted a full 2 hours at least 😢 I could watch her talk all day and never get bored.

I looked this up because I just read her book, in which she is truly fearless. She actually tells stories in which she comes across as a little bad. Of course, this just makes me admire her more.

my god...thanks soooo much for posting this...Ms Kendrick is someone i respect so much...her basket is loaded with talent-she loves her work/spends time honing her profession/does things her way/has not let Hollywood games get in the way of her dreams and seems to be cool enough to realize how lucky she is and humble enough to cherish where her hard work has landed her....

I have a feeling this movie “Alice Darling” is going to bring some painful things up for me and a lot of other women. I Trust Anna and know she will open a lot eyes and help us who have lived it to share our stories. I call it “Unspeakable Abuse”

I went over her filmography and realized that I'd seen way more of her movies than I had recognized - I had remembered her as this quiet neurotic character actor funnier than Woody Allen, come to find out her range and skills are so sophisticated that you might not know it's her playing a different role unless you pay close attention, full of surprises for casual viewers and classic subtlety for serious critics.

Anna strikes me as having such a modern vibe that I cannot picture her in a movie based in a different era. I don't count being Cinderella in "Into the Woods", because that's a fairy tale. I don't know if the industry also views her this way or that she herself is uninterested in interpreting a role from a book or a play from say, the 1930s or the 1950s. Would like to ask her about that. Otherwise, I enjoyed hearing about the technical aspects of acting. Very interesting.

Anna Kendrick is a genius. Her performances are on a higher plane than those of other actors. Just as Dylan can sing a song sincerely and at the same time make fun of it, Kendrick can rapidly portray several different emotions and points of view that are all pertinent to her character. But I was disappointed with "Stowaway" and "The accountant," because they did not make use of Kendrick's abilities. "A Simple Favor,": on the other hand, allowed her to demonstrate her unusual abilities.

meets Pussy Galore meets Tracy Lord.)
