Looking back at this show, Ted really wasn't shit. He dumped her on her birthday after he begged to get her back, tried to sleep with Roben while he had a whole gf, stole Victoria from her wedding, invited Roben to his own wedding after Stella told him not to. He also married his own tattoo remover/skin doctor. Who does all of this?
Many pointed out that Anne Dudek played a similar role in Friends, but I think the reason why she was casted as Natalie is her physique. i.e., her ability to deliver the punch line (or should I say “ kick” line). Not very many actresses can casually stand up and deliver the kick over/across the table like she did. And of course, her entire acting in the scene was genius. From her repeating ‘it’s my birthday’ to her ‘oh, so I am stupid?’. ‘I’m not f-able??’ is probably the best line of the entire show. Ted deserved everything single bit of the beating. Besides, what kind of idiot dumps a girl as hot and lovely as her? She is anything but ‘not f-able’.
This scene actually tells a lot about relationships. When you date with an old ex to try again,it will eventually fail and one/both sides will be very unhappy in the end
A word of advice, Natalie. Find a Prince Charming who will treat you like the lady that you are, respect your decisions and NOT break up with you on your birthday.

he's an idiot. which makes the final scene in the whole series even more ridiculous, non-sensical, and personally, offensive, since the premise of the show was to find "The One" and the series ended THAT way -.-.
I broke up with a girl in what I thought was a really mature way, just telling her that I was only going to waste her time, after a month of dating, and that we needed to just stop, with no harsh feelings. That ended up in she screaming at me in the park and crying and all people watching us and I remembered this scene. There's simply no easy way to break up with a girl. It never ends well.
Yup. I saw my friend once did it with the woman who soon would be his wife. The guy was having his hair bleached, somehow they argued and the woman basically walked out of the barbershop, and wait for a taxi on the side of the street. He followed her out, calling her, all with head still wrapped and sticky with aluminum foil, and bleach. They argued for like 10 minutes, on the street before they went back inside. Oh yeah, they did it in front of a supermarket owned by the guy, so all his employees saw it too.
Natalie: So, if you ever come to Alabama, my mom throws these huge crawfish boils and she's just dying to meet you, by the way.
