I have met guys like you. You know so much and it seems like you are doing the best job that can be done and in this instance you were looking out for the customer. Not knowing the difference between what is correct and what will just get by is me. I rely on talking and sometimes working with the builder/handyman to do the best job available. I have given my handyman about 5 other jobs in my neighborhood via referrals based on the quality of work he does.

We had a Corian countertop put in our kitchen about 20 years ago. It has a white accent stripe in the center of a bullnose front. That's the only way you can see the seam on ours. They used a multicolored-speckled filler in the seams. You have to look real close at that white band on the front to see where the seam is. I was amazed then.

I have always used WD40 but didn’t know they had other “flavors” till one of your other videos. Well two days ago I had to change the handle, lock and wheels on my sliding door and when I got the parts I also picked up a can of the WD40 professional grade water resistant silicone spray. Well now the door slides so easy I have had to put rubber stops on the frame so I don’t break the glass. Thanks for letting me know about the other WD40 products.

Usually cheaper to buy but you can buy better materials or make them fit your specific area.
One more thing, I just purchased today, the Dewalt Atomic compact 20v set that has the drill w/ 1/2" chuck, the 1/4" impact driver, the Sawzall and the orbital vibrating saw, got to use the impact driver, man that extra inch made all the difference, (insert joke here) I had sent you a message on Instagram and ask if you used those, or knew anything about them, but I know, your busy etc. LOL anyway, I am going to see how the hold up, definitely like them over the 14 year old Craftsman, as far as the weight goes, hopefully they make the grade.

A tradesperson who takes pride in their work and wont settle for half-assed work is invaluable. I hate these people who promise to do work where they either 1) dont really understand how to do well, or 2) dont give a shit to try to do it well. Someone who cares about their work and is knowledgeable enough to do it well is worth every penny you pay them.

When I installed some cabinets for my son in his garage I just had bessey clamps, shims, and 28" level clamped to the "previous" cabinet bottom (used to align cabinet bottoms and as my third hand to rest the new cabinet). Wish I had a third hand/red pole and those red clamps as it would have made everything a whole bunch easier.

On white quartz you can hide them very well. That's why the first seam was unacceptable.

No. I honestly have never even seen one. Just a loop before it plugs into the garbage disposal.
An air gap is usually only needed when a proper vent on the waste line isn't available.

No
because if companies had to vet every single person who was capable of doing the work, to make sure they did everything 100%. they would have to hire an extra person for every worker just to babysit the babysitters. people are people and even if someone can do the job right, doesn't mean they will.
workers still have to be trusted to a certain degree, but it shows that they knew their guys work wasn't good before they sent them out because they didn't even question whether or not the work was actually questionable.

But alas, I was wrong, I guess it would take 4 or so guys to lift up and maneuver a big heavy counter top without trashing everything around it. Did you really have an appointment or did the crew need a siesta? Kidding - but seriously you should have been eating some Chipotle while watching them work...they would have doubled down to get done in time so they could bolt and get some lunch. Wishing I had a Chipotle burrito about right now...
