It would be interesting to see tournaments implement 1 character ban per set, similar to how stages get banned. Would definitely see a much different top 50 list.
So I've just got this in my recommended so congrats! Regarding the pinned message, I'll say what I think is impacting part of my experience, but by all means isn't unbearable or the worst thing known to mankind. Personally find the very high amounts of sound effects to be a little too frequent (Is this because the game audio by default is lower?) It feels like some sound effects there are to fill in the blanks of quite Melee sound effects Assuming you use OBS and If you don't already, I think virtual audio cables and/or the Application Audio Capture plugin for OBS would help for separating your audio for better audio balancing. I absolutely loved some of the edits, especially one where you went out of your way to get a camera angle specifically for it in-game. However, some such as the giant nuclear explosion with Clefairy felt like they lasted too long for the punchline to truly land.
@brohobo more eye catching movements, or have the zooms be quicker. Just make the zooms more unique. The clips are great but the editing feels kind of static. Still better editing than I can ever do though
Ah yes, Melee as it was intended....I find it hilarious that people took Melee, the sandbox fighting game, and immediately sucked all the joy out of it to make it just another comp-fighting game. if you can't handle playing with items.....sounds like a skill issue to me, you hothouse flower.
@@brohobo Except competitive play isn't setup that way to be enjoyable. It's to reduce variance so people can show off their skill. But being able to adapt to the items is a skill, but the competitive community basically said 'waa it's hard' and gave up.
@@earlmaudrie5850 ah yes a pokeball randomly appearing in the middle of the stage and you being able to summon an instant kill area effect from them out of no where is very skill based. I love items and regular smash, but items are NOT skill based at all. Especially with the numerous infinites and just utter bullshit that can come up from them, which is fun but not when they're the sole deciding factors in competition meant to be primarily skill based and have rankings and literal prize money on the line.
I tried some new things with editing in this video, let me know what you think 😁👍
This worked so well, just the vibes of four friends being silly with the highly edited content works so well

Exactly as Daddy Sakurai intended.
Nothing says smash bros quite like killing your teammates 😁
>Melee.
>Playable charizard and sonic
We use the Akaneia Mod. Linked in description 👍

Melee's meta would be much different for sure. This could be a fun side event to try.
i had a HARD mandela effect seeing charizard in melee, i think i should sleep here soon
fun video! lol
Lol thank you! ❤
Charizard is part of a mod for Melee called Akaneia (linked in description) but yeah seeing Charizard in Melee is really weird lol.
Another fantastic video
Thanks! 😁

Much appreciated! 😇
I love your vids but i feel like you should play with your zoom more it starts to feel stagnant and makes a lot of clips feel similar
Like do more eye catching or dynamic movements? The zooming is mostly there to draw attention to whatever is going on in the game

@@theradman9478 Alright I'll think about this going forward and see if I can come up with anything. Thanks for sticking with the channel! 👍❤
I can see what he means.
Instead of slow zooming every time cut directly to a shot.
Also the use of filters might help break it up as well.
@@DreamcastSoupYT I see, I appreciate the feedback! 👍

I think people should be allowed to play games in whatever way they enjoy 😉
