Cadillac should have put this vehicle on the CT6 platform. It could have had the 3.0 twin turbo to really go against the Aviator. Possibly, it could have had the real Blackwing engine also.
Have a 21 xt6 sport. This powertrain is not good and when you put 10k on the transmission it starts to buck, bang and jerk. Then are told "thats just GM". Engine underperforms and is loud for going nowhere slowly. Also, the hydraulics on the rear gate die very quickly and opening up your trunk starts to become a pain. Oh and if your rear control arm bushings have some movement in them... GM calls that "To specs" and is fine till you need to replace them 10k miles later when your wheels are misaligned
Nice SUV but it's dated now and not competitive in the segment. It needs an updated technology package and updated power train. Needs more than 360hp to compete, a massive plastic surface reduction and the screens are all out of date. Should have been harder on brands like this and been more truthful.
I believe this has more horsepower and torque than the other two GM products.. the engine (not that size matters) is about fifty CC's larger then the other two.. still being listed as a 3.6
Hey Ben, the xt6 is on a different platform than the Chevy Traverse and the Buick Enclave (121.9”)! Inside room is also dramatically different!! Rookie mistake! Get your act together!
That’s my problem with Cadillac these days. No Cadillac only engines. I love the northstar and 4.5 and 4.9 v8’s the 500 and 472 great motors!! I just wish the motor was better or at least higher HP
Needs it's own engine that price for a chevy traverse engine come on now at least change horsepower gm put that 3.6 in everything for years let's not forget they popped timming chains like crazy couple of years ago
What fool would pay almost $78,000 for that! That instrument cluster is old-school and outdated. You can get a BMW X5 that will blow the socks off of this XT6 for the same price or even slightly less. GM is insane with pricing.
The 3.6 V6 has the chain system, but I've been reading that if you change the oil every 3,000 miles and don't pay any attention to the oil life monitor - it should be fine .
The Genesis looks unfinished from several angles and comes off as just a wannabe German luxury SUV. The Cadillac is uniquely designed and boasts it’s own original design language and signature styling. Majority of people buying a XT6 or RX-L are fully aware of the Germans but couldn’t care less what they’re offering or how Genesis is trying to imitate them. A different target audience really.
I really love this All-new 2023 Cadillac XT6.
Terrific job with your videos as always Ben.
Nice review, pity about the CLICK BAIT title, you never gave us a conclusion Ben, is it "This Or The Lincoln Aviator?"
The carbon fiber has a very thin copper wire weave into it that’s what give is the “gold” color you speak of.
Once they give it the new interior tech like the Escalade or lyriq it'll be perfect
Aviator is better
Nice to see you drive the Cadillac XT6 Ben. I am glad you had a positive experience with the vehicle.

Really beautiful and is so luxurious. The only downside is the half analog half digital instrument cluster
Where is the comparison to the Lincoln, as the title imples?

nice looking...... just wish it was rear wheel drive based
I like the 2023 Cadillac XT6 Sport
How this compares to Jeep Grand cherokee (L) summit?

What is the exterior color??? Wilder Metallic? I couldn’t tell for sure and you didn’t mention in the video.

No it isn't
I love the xt6 it needs a little better engine
Aviator

xt6 win

🤣 true
Nice
What's better range rover velar or the cadillac xt6?
I have a Velar and am planning to move to the XT6
This or the Aviator???? Which is it?
Aviator has experienced so many issues.
I’m a big fan of cadi … but this suv seems it’s like 10 yrs like the same area of the last cts ct6 … 77k for a fwd crossover idk man
Small suggestion - slow down, and don't pan so quickly.... but thanks for the info!
Does it have a timing belt or chain in this motor
The 3.6 V6 has the chain system, but I've been reading that if you change the oil every 3,000 miles and don't pay any attention to the oil life monitor - it should be fine .
I like the aviator more
Cadillac interior specially the screen is a big downer
This thing should have been redesigned YEARS ago.
What are you talking about it looks great. It just came out in 2020
Aviator looks way better and is very underrated and also most of the cadillacs all look to much the same in interior
Immediately out at “natch aspirated”. Really?
#LincolnAviator is better
He should try the Genesis GV80, even nicer than the Lincoln Aviator!
I’ve reviewed several

Interior in xt6 way to basic
Over an aviatior or gv80 or Kia telluride or palisade? Absolutely not😂
It’s a glorified GMC Acadia.
