Another great review. My e bike has a torque senser with 80nm of torque and a 24ah battery. 203 disc on the front 180 on the back. I love it and much prefer the torque senser.
The coupon still works, thanks for that! Which bike do you recommend: the ADO Air 20 (with throttle) for €999 or the Engwe P20 for €799? Is the ride of the ADO Air 20 that much better, in terms of maintaining 25 km/h with a good cadence?
It reminds me of Tern bikes. Cool looking compact bike with a lot of adjustablity for different size people and it appears to pack a punch. For 1.3k you can get a really substantial bike. For that price it should have some gears. Perhaps a front wheel hub, and the rear wheel with hub internal gears to the belt. The belt really is a novelty and the bike may have been better served with a derailleur.
I agree. Belt is cool and lots of people prefer it. It's quieter and requires way less maintenance. But I probably would have preferred gears so that the torque sensor could be activated at higher speeds. But TBF it's 900 not 1300 right now.
In all the bikes you have tested, is this the best bike for the money? I'm waiting to pull the trigger on a folding e bike, but it seems like a mine field out there.
@@stevehemingway9619 it's definitely nice and it's even cheaper now at 899 possibly less with my code. However there are probably better bikes for the money like the one in my last vid but that one doesn't look as cool as this. I'm not the biggest fan of the torque sensor on this one either and the indicators aren't implemented well.
@@e-VRC thanks for the info, I've tried your code and it does make the p20 £799 which sounds tempting. I like the idea of single speed, I'm not that bothered about going fast on it, lol. Looked at your last review, great speed, but it's no looker, lol
A nice little city commuter that. The torque sensor would be a deal breaker for me though. I bought my ebike because 1. One of my knees doesn't like steep hills, and I pretty much have to go up some real swines to go anywhere outside of my town. Apart from one direction, but then I have to go up it to get back. And 2. I'm getting on in years and I like being a bit lazy. And ghost pedaling is a thing after all. 🤣
Haha. I think a lot of younger people would agree. I'm ok with it as it still has the throttle but without it I wouldn't be too happy since I like to be a bit lazier 😂
@@minkdeville123 Me ? I have an eliglide M2. 250W motor, peaks at 570W ( claimed ), 55Nm torque (claimed ) with a 15.6 AH battery. It does get up those hills pretty well.
You hold the brake and throttle whilst you turn it on. I continued to hold it for 15 seconds but I don't really know how long you need to hold it for after turning on. I do it when the loud music comes on and it says 'Birmingham' on screen.
@@e-VRC strange, doesn’t work for me, even held it for a full minute. I still only get walking assist. Ah well it was worth a shot. Thanks for responding though 👍
This bike would be handy if it was actually a gates drive, with an option of three gears one for going uphill one for taking it easy and then change down so it makes the bike much faster on the flat. It would be a couple of kilos heavier but that’s not much and a little bit more range. This would be an excellent city bike, but as is fix gear just not fast enough really shame nice looking bike
Having the capacity to fold and roll wil help older people. Lifting is sometimes painful on the joints. When you get older you might understand a bit better.

@669basher9rc It's not a click bait video, it's a video on an e bike which costs less than 1000 pounds with a belt drive. That's well worth the price. What's your problem with that.
899 with a discount code. It's got a lot of cool tech but not always implemented perfectly. But it's cool. Reminded me of an iPad. Hence the very true title and thumbnail.

Nice spec you got there 👍🏽👍🏽
We sure do appreciate you bringing that bike all the way to Birmingham (Alabama of course officer) just to test the throttle!

Has a very techy look to it this frame. I like the wheel size but this one could do with a touch bit of suspension.
Yeah suspension would be nice and maybe some mag wheels to add to the techy look
