Y'all are awesome. Thank you sharing the good experience crossing the Belize border and getting a very good deal in inporting your vehicle. It was the best decision you guys did on researching for a customs broker 😊😊

How did you decide which customs broker to use? Did you start that process in Texas or Mexico? We're planning on driving from Canada to Belize. Your videos have been very helpful. Thankyou.
@@wendyquillan122 I joined several Facebook groups such as Belize Expats, Moving to Belize, and similar and researched within those groups for recommendations for custom brokers. I then contacted several via email or messenger to see what their process was and what to expect. I did this research while still in Texas and decided on a broker before we started our drive to Belize. Thanks for watching our videos!
@@iveylynn7581 Each person is different on travel with baby. The main issue may be the restrooms; I do not remember seeing any diaper changing stations or tables. All the restrooms we used on the road (even at large gas stations) had no toilet paper, no toilet seats, no soap, and no paper towels. That may be a problem for you for might not be. It would be a 4 day drive (do not drive at night) so that may be stressful for baby and you.
@@2gringosandadingo My wife and I have been planning our route. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for highways/roads to use traveling through Mexico. In your video's you and your husband have allot of first hand knowledge. Also, what would be the safest places to spend the night as we do not want to drive after dark in Mexico. Thank you so much for all of the information you provide in your videos! Regards, Marc
@@marcjohnson4286 In our video “The Dingo picks a route” you can see a graphic of the route. Mainly took Toll road 57 most of the way. We used Eagle Pass to cross (considered safe and easy). Head toward Monterrey, San Luis Potosí, go around Mexico City towards Puebla, Villahermosa, then Chetumal. Cross Northern Belize border (St. Elena). DO NOT drive in Mexico after dark.
Sorry for another silly question. How is the taxes collected? Do you pay there at the border? Credit card? Cash? You have 14 days to register the vehicle once you cross, is that correct? Thankyou for your response.
@@wendyquillan122 Belize customs tax can be paid by cash (US dollars or Belize dollars) or by credit card. Cash is usually better as there are fees sometimes associated with using a credit card and the fact that many times the network is down and the credit card machine or terminal will not work. I can’t tell you how much the taxes will be as too many factors such as it sometimes just depends on who is working at the border station on any particular day.
@@cindywine4660 Sorry that Queen’s vocalization upsets your dogs. Queen, like most Carolina Dogs, is very vocal and has many different voices that she likes to share with the audience sometimes. We do the best we can by allowing her to participate in the videos; some videos she is very quiet, other videos she has something to say!
