We finally do the reveal of the indoor crawler course for our micro collection. A lot of family bonding these days and this was a great project to spend the time. We completed this project over a span of 2 weeks. We've done several updates on Instagram showing the progress of the build.
We've been running these RC's for some time and some are better than others but it's been great running them all.

Nice job. I started a course in a dead corner of my shop. The old bench was 8ft by 2 ft, and I put two 2ft by 4ft pieces at a 90 degree angles at each end. This forms a "C" with an area in the middle to stand closer to the action. No rescue hook needed. LOL Plenty of room for a narrow shelf area above, and lower part of bench can be accessed with a ramp from either end. Back wall was covered in old stockade fence slats from when I took down our fence. Weathered gray slats look like log cabin walls.

Egg cartons! Awesome. I've stayed away from Crawlers for three years just because of my RC obsession and not only is it a money thing eventually you run out of space and time 😂 so I avoided the scx24 deadbolt that I've always wanted... But when I saw the FMS Chevy K10 I was so blown away and my girlfriend saw it and had to buy her first RC and now I'm very excited about crawling!
@William Perri It' soo addictive. Good thing these come with a lower price tag for parts😊 The new ESC in the Gladiators is amazing. Only thing they do not bind with the old controller.

i would love to make a 1/24 scale course out in my back yard i have the perfect spot for it i just dont no how to come up with the layout and i wouldent no what material to use that would always stay in one place outside
@fruitynameguy If you are going to do it outdoors dirt, small rocks and something you can make small hills out of and pack dirt on are going to be best. Something that can hold up to the elements.

I just found this video. I've been looking for ideas on how to build my own course. You have done an outstanding job on yours. How long did it take to build?
@Brent Peavler I would love to take all the credit but my kids also helped out. We were off and on but I would say about a week since had to let things dry between stages.
I made a course for the scx24 with plaster but my car just slips lol. I need to find a way to put stuff on the plaster so the tires stick a bit more
@Taco De Tripas Sprinkle a little bit of sand when it is wet. What I did was mix a little bit of sand in my paint.
The 4Runner video I just watched and it looks awesome! So much Flex. The first generation 4Runner is dear to my heart because I had two friends in high school that had one and my clothes and buddy Jeff had the second generation 96 4Runner for over 15 years. So, is the scx24 still the best performer of these three? The panda hobby looks really nice as well with oil-filled shocks.
@William Perri Yup stay with the scx24. The Gladiator is even better than the older models because of the ESC. They started to throw the ESC in the JLU's too. I was just about to sell my 4runner because it was diffing out and I could not fix the issue. Watched an RC Athletes video and boom, FIXED! The slipper is nonadjustable so you need to thicken it up to lock it out completely. Once I did that brand new truck. So much better performance. I had this one viewer saying nothing is wrong with the truck and it was me. He was SO wrong. Not one influencer mentioned an issue with it either. No way I was the only one. Called Kyosho and they told me to check the motor leads. Crazy! I think there was an issue with the first ones and since this was a big release everyone kept it silent. SAD! But now I like it. Keeping it in the stables. Need to do a follow up video.

@3 Sons RC Thanks bro! I would strongly recommend Instagram or Facebook dedicated to your channel. I'm not a big Facebook person but it's good for the groups. As for Instagram, I love it. It keeps people up to date on the stuff I'm doing between my videos, wrenching, painting, purchases. I sometimes show snips of my running videos on there kind of to get the word out on my YT videos. I'm working to the point to do teasers but have not gotten there yet. Give it a try if your get the chance. If you do IG let me know, I'll follow back.
