Mike McCready stepped up even more in this gig when he was needed, he played out of his skin to help buy Eddie some time to try his best to see out the gig. Also, the crowd really helped out too. Brilliant show.
I was gutted I went to toilet then the bar to get a beer and the bar was closed told to go bit further to another in queue I heard this come on! My fave song another women turned round and was also gutted we missed it!!!got back to third tier just at end of the song I stood waiting my daughter recorded for me!
Had a cracking time last night, first time seeing PJ and hopefully not the last! Eddie Vedder was a proper trooper, honestly thought the show would get stopped early but they played for over 2 hours with a brilliantly long encore too, loved it!
I was there, Eddie was very sick, they changed setlist and the band played first notes to this song and Ed stopped it and said "we not playing this one tonight" mcready and the crowd quickly changed his mind! 😂 great show made special by Ed being such a trooper and giving it all he could for the thousands that travelled.
@kemdo123 yeah it was a shame he was sick, but this is where Eds loyalty to the band for over 30 years pays back, because we didn't go to see Eddie vedder and his band, we went to see PJ. The band and crowd rose to the occasion in my opinion and as bad as Ed felt about it, he will be proud of his band mates and very grateful to the fans
@@LadyZ-lr4ud yes me too, gutted. Hope they are better soon, I think it more than Ed that have it. Matt Cameron didn't look great towards end of the show on Tuesday either.
I wonder how Eddie is feeling today😢 God love him ❤ he’s a trooper and thought about his fans and not himself. Mr McCreedy on 🔥 Thanks too all the guys for an awesome evening 😘 long live PJ 🥰
Flu or not Eddie was epic as always at giving a great show, but mcready had an awesome show last night, hope Eddie's better for London Saturday but still the best live band ever 🤘 and PJs crowd are always super cool to help with vocals. Looking forward London. Speedy recovery Mr vedder you are a god
PJ had to cancel a London show 6 years ago because of Eddies voice - we were gutted at the time and so when he started last night we worried it would happen again BUT he got through and performed the best he could (still ace!) in my opinion Mike came forward and took the pressure off Eddie…He gave it everything! (Would also love to know who guy was who he was vibing with all night!)
Having had tickets for London N2 in 2018 and also to Vienna in 2022 (called off 2 hours before curtain) I was so worried last night would be 3rd strike. Watched the show convinced they’d call it… but so proud they got through it. It was amazing.
@kemdo123 I will be there Saturday too. Loved last night was 5th time seeing them and eds sickness and the efforts of the band and crowd made it special. Hoping Ed recovers for Saturday.. .I need to hear waiting for stevie 😊
We were well back from the stage and we thought the sound was very good indeed. I've been to venues where sound has been so muddled it's sometimes hard to know what is being played, but this was top notch as far as I'm concerned. Despite Vedder's obvious difficulties from a cold he was faultless - never a bum note. The venue was also well marshaled and the staff very helpful. All very well organised and it would seem early teething troubles of the coop live are behind them. Only complaint would be seats being a bit uncomfortable, but really didn't detract from a great gig.
@@tezer881 We were in front of the sound desk and it was great ( as you would hope from that position) but apparently in the higher up seats the screen was obscured and the sound was echoing allot.

No offense,but this doesn’t even come close too 90’s live PJ.Its true.Cheers
I thought crowd was a little off to be honest. Think the concern for EV rubbed off a little.
Fave song! The live version has so much energy❤️🔥

Was really good! There’re in London this Saturday, if you’re that side of the south!
I was there
Pity his voice was struggling but a great show nonetheless
I need to see them again now with a full voice

Do u think Saturday will be cancelled
@@JGI43 no mate, if Eddie got through yesterday I think few days more rest he will be ok for London. However he is 60 and if it gets worse then maybe.

Maybe ed should quit smoking cigs.Would ultimately make him even better.Nothing but respect.Cheers!!
Didn’t know he was a smoker?!
Hopefully Saturday isn’t cancelled, I’m hearing a lot of complaints about this venue , how was sound ?
