Hi Davie, I've spent most of the day cooking steak and kidney for the pie tomorrow, it was wonderful to sit doon wi a dram and watch this wee duo. A very nice tying for both, with that wee touch of class for tapering the Deer hair. All the very best for this evening to you and family. Great stuff !
Ali
Hi Ali,
I hope you have a lovely steak pie as I look forward to mine as well Happy New Year and all the very best for 2017...
ATB Davie...
I really enjoy watching a master tying! Had not seen the wrapping through the deer hair technique before.
Hi Davie. Its my pleasure that I write a comment for you and about your awesome patterns for the first time. You help me with these videos. I'm an angler and fly tying addicted from IRAN. Where the fly fishing is an unknown sport and activity.
I will make a video from my first pattern pretty soon and I would be proud if you leave a comment about it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Happy New Year, Davie! Brilliant flies, as usual. Do you believe that the condor substitute is better than just turkey rounds?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi Joe,
Happy New Year...I would say the turkey rounds would be just as good for doing bodies just like in the video but the Condor Sub would be good as well for tying classic flies as long as you can find good pieces..
All the very best Davie..
