Garrigan Saddler Shogun is such a badass song. In fact, the entire Shogun album is just amazing. If you like Trivium then you should definitely consider listening to Sylosis.

when i was 16 i was drummer for a band called Moshgor and we used to cover lots of trivium, namely, Like Light, Gunshot, Pull Harder on the strings of your martyrs, rain and others. was sick times. Always good to come back to this music, so nostalgic.

my brother gave me this album when i was like, 10 years old or something. the first album i ever fell in love with and made me truely fall in love with metal. one of the few albums i can listen to from start to finish and skip nothing.

I just discovered this band at the end of 2021. I condemn the (physical, not musical) rock I've been living under. Rain, Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr, Bullet to the Head of Trepidation, Departure, The Deceived, Drowned and Torn Asunder, Until the World Goes Cold, and (of course) The Heart From Your Hate. Perfection!
Cant never get enough of this jam or these guys, this along with Ascendancy, Rain, In Waves, Through blood dirt and bone are my FAV jams. can listen to the same songs every day without getting tired of hearing them.

One of my friends in high school showed me this song in 2007 which was one of the first times i talked to her. It is the best memory of her i have. 2/28/2008, i dropped my other friend off after school and was driving down the road. She was in her friends car and they pulled out in front of me and i hit them. Her life was taken right in front of me. I just remembered this song from that long ago and shivers just went from my head to my toes. Thank you for that.

I listened to this entire album on a high dose of psilocybe mushrooms as a 15 year old and it was such an incredible experience! One of the best "metal" albums ever for me.
