Interesting. I know that it contains alcohol, so maybe just isopropyl or benzyl alcohol would do it? I use Magic Erasers on coated heads, but now I know how to make clear heads look new again. Thank you.

I know it works on cleaning hockey goalie pads, so I figured I'd try it on the drum heads.

@@davidsimmsdrummer367 Interesting! I just picked up a bottle from Wal-Mart yesterday and tried it on several of my drumheads from different kits. It seemed to work best at removing the stick marks left by plastic-tipped sticks. If the marks are from wood-tipped sticks, it didn't seem to work quite as well. But the heads still looked better, regardless of the tip type. Again, thanks for sharing!

That’s great and everything.but why go through all that just to clean drum heads?mite as well put plastic wrap from the pantry to protect it.if it works for you and everyone ok great and your drum will smell nice 👍
