A POLYAMOROUS thruple are opening up about their relationship to prove that three isn’t a crowd. Alexia Shrout lives with her two husbands, Doug Shrout, and Jacob Shrout-Mchaffie and their three children in Maumee, Ohio. Alexia, who works as a professional body piercer, was in an open relationship with Doug when she met Jacob. Doug and Alexia have been together fifteen years, opening up their relationship to Jake eight years ago; and in July 2016 the trio had a ceremony to mark their commitment to one another. The unique family are raising their three children, Skyler, 14, Donovan, 11 and one-year-old baby girl Teegan. The two sons are biologically Doug’s, however, to avoid favouritism the triad have not disclosed the biological father of their daughter.

I don't get this logic. If all parents say, "go ask," then it means all are in agreement that they don't care as long as it's alright with the other parent, so the answer in these cases is always, "yes." Only one parent must say "no" to make it a "no," but if all parents tell the child to go ask the other, then the answer is obviously, "yes." Why do people keep asking this silly question or saying that it'll be a loop? Can't we just use a bit of thought-through-logic here?

Think of it this way, relationships are like friendships with additional responsibility and intimacy. We are comfortable chosing which friend we wish to spend time with and don't mind if they spend time with others. Same goes for a poly relationship. Just one more friend inside the loop. So long as all three feel equally valuable to each other there shouldn't be an issue

Plus you have children watching videos WAY more intense than this. Not to mention other kid's parents could find these video and then word spreads that way. I was acquainted Alexia when she embarked on her relationships with the the 2 men. She didn’t just go out and seek out 2 husbands. It was organic. It’s not for me either but it’s not a conventional relationship. There is always resentment and jealousy regardless of how much they smile, it’s human nature and unless you’re in a tribe where it’s more like a business unit, this type of relationship often does not work. If they’re happy that’s great but for the majority, it’s already a lot to deal with one person.

Everyone has their preferences or life styles, you are allowed to judge but you cant tell people what to do, even if it may be harmful (different story when it hurts others). For example, lets say theres a guy with an obsession with life like dolls and constantly spends time with them, even talking to them. They make him happy and he sees them as living beings. People may see it as unhealthy since he's isolating himself from society and void of human interaction, making him a social outcast. You can constantly tell him that he's gone too far the rabbit hole but he will most likely deny it. I would agree that it is unhealthy but its his life and all u can do is advise him. You cant force them to change. Other examples include plastic surgery addicts, drug addicts, sex addicts etc.. So again, when i said 'whatever makes you happy' i didn't mean i think what they're doing is ok, it simply means Im indifferent to the situation or in other words im saying 'hey, its your life', i do however care about the children and hope this doesn't affect them in a negative manner.
