Still enjoying my Charvel DK24 FR in Infinity Blue!! This honestly is my dream setup: HSS with a FR means I can whammy flutter all day and never go out of tune and I get all the tonal qualities I generally want when I'm soloing. Normally I find the Seymour Duncan Full Shred to bite a bit too hard, but it sounds just perfect in this model.

@@jimshomestudio I'm glad like it! This backing track had all the makings of a great song I just tried to find a melody 😁 I always get nervous trying to do these improvs... Even when I have an idea of what to play. Sometimes I have a hard time getting out of my head and into the music but I feel like I finally warmed up a few minutes in on this one 😂

@@dmnguitaristThanks man... yeah definitely!! I'm certain a good number of my guitars are going to be sitting idle a while after getting this one. I tried that middle position! I didn't realize my primer gray has the same config. It's a very unique sound - somewhere between a single and humbucker in terms of output with a ton of articulation. I was on the bridge for this one. I didn't really think about switching I was really into all the pinchy harmonics I was getting from that full shred 😂 YT Jam tracks has been putting out some crazy good stuff. Really there's so much good content out there for improvising I can't even keep up!
