The tongue on those BC 3s is a huge giveaway - since those All Star Red Cement 3s Nike made all 3s tongues like the OG, i.e. the leather tongue tab goes over the inner tongue. So these 3s are probably more like the 2018 version, not the upcoming one.
Im in total agreement about your thoughts on the Black Cement 3s. Those are my grails and I knew damn well those are not the 2024 pairs. I already doubled up last time and will do the same in November.

UNC 1s in patent or suede would have been a 100% passfor me. And even myself not big on the aged stuff , think it will actually look cool on the UNC AJ1 Highs , seen so many pictures of the OG pairs from the 80s that basically look like that now.

It does look like the 94 pair. But this pair is suppose to be closer to the OG. Plus the points on the elephant print overlay, amongst other things look off. I really want the Sport Blue to return. That’s a beautiful shoe!

When you look at the old pics of the 1988’s all lined up next to each other, it looks like they all use the same fairly dark elephant print on every colorway. And the elephant print and mudguard are the exact same height. 50% of the mudguard should be showing at the very tip of the shoe. Which has never happened on any retro yet.

As soon as the shoes were announced, i was wondering if you would cover them and you did. Basically, Tekken 8’s story revolves around the final conflict between father and son, between Kazuya and his son Jin, and so far the first foamposite seems to be Kazuya’s since the shoes’ color way matches his suit in game and themes of meeting their Fates through using their Fists is the main catalyst of the story, and as a side note Kazuya’s hobby is collecting sneakers.

Those Tekken Foams look really interesting as a big Foams fan but i'll leave those for the hardcore Tekken fans. Though do remember playing Tekken on the old PS1. Those Jordan 3 Sails could be clean , i do hope even get even a slight elephant print outline , even faint white lines of print or something. The Columbia / Legend Blue XIs def looking really clean the more i see more & better images. I'll be passing on the Satin Shadows AJ1 Highs , just not a fan of Satin the look and its very high maintenance / hard to clean / threads can get snagged , creases easily etc. Could use another leather Shadow AJ1 High asap though , my pair from their last release looking rough from wear.

I wish the UNC 1s would’ve just come without the aged details (the way they were intended to be originally). So tired of this aged look at this point. They literally shoving it on every other release these days🤦♂️. Nike needs to bring back the OG Chicago 1s with regular materials, similar to 2015 pair, it’s about time (a larger swoosh would be nice as well imo). Even though the Lost n Found release was cool as a concept, as an actual shoe I’m not a fan of it at all.
That would have been nice. However, if they did return, it would be the High 85 model. But I am sure most people don't mind that. We will eventually see Chicago's release, but as a High 85. What I heard is that JB plans on releasing all OG colors on the model.

But 2015 release would’ve been better imo(as long as the materials quality is right). 85’s midsole shape isn’t as comfortable for me tbh, it’s a bit too narrow. And just aesthetically that sole looks weird a bit (almost like you have two left shoes on lol). I do like the shape of the uppers on the 85s though. I really wish they would put the uppers of the 85s on the OG midsole, I think that would’ve made it perfect. I get it 85s are close to the original form , but not everything that’s original is better imo

I love the sharper cuts on the elephant print and the height on this pair is really nice. I just hate how tall they make the elephant print around the toe. Those UNC 1s are some of the only ones that NEED to come with the aging lol it looks sooo good on that color way

I wish the UNC 1s would’ve just come without the aged details (the way they were intended to be originally). So tired of this aged look at this point. They literally shoving it on every other release these days🤦♂️.
Nike needs to bring back the OG Chicago 1s with regular materials, similar to 2015 pair, it’s about time (a larger swoosh would be nice as well imo). Even though the Lost n Found release was cool as a concept, as an actual shoe I’m not a fan of it at all.
That would have been nice. However, if they did return, it would be the High 85 model. But I am sure most people don't mind that. We will eventually see Chicago's release, but as a High 85. What I heard is that JB plans on releasing all OG colors on the model.
@@sneakerfiles Yeah, I’ve heard that they’re supposedly bringing back all original color ways on the 85s. But 2015 release would’ve been better imo(as long as the materials quality is right). 85’s midsole shape isn’t as comfortable for me tbh, it’s a bit too narrow. And just aesthetically that sole looks weird a bit (almost like you have two left shoes on lol). I do like the shape of the uppers on the 85s though. I really wish they would put the uppers of the 85s on the OG midsole, I think that would’ve made it perfect. I get it 85s are close to the original form , but not everything that’s original is better imo

I love the sharper cuts on the elephant print and the height on this pair is really nice. I just hate how tall they make the elephant print around the toe. The fear 4 being a sample of the OG pair is BS. They never rolled the tongue back on the first one or made the height like that. I wondered about the person who keeps "leaking" these too.
Yea the elephant print is too high. lol I knew it wasn’t true about it being the OG sample, but I don’t like to get confrontational over sneakers.
