- Precision cutting lesson:
Today I'll be sharing my tricks on how I cut out a bonnet perfectly so that we can then hinge the bonnet back on and make an opening and closing bonnet (next video)
Watch as I cut out the bonnet from a Nissan Skyline R32 (tricky little buggers!) Without damaging the casting or the bonnet . I'll also share tips on how to cut the bonnet from a Datsun 510 sedan so you can make your own RLC custom...or something.

Awesome, I've restored old larger scale diecast but am ready to tackle the little cars that need more detail! Thanks!
I knew this would be the right video when I saw you had already done the car I was trying to customize!
I didn't even know you had a UA-cam channel, I read your web page all the time. So glad I found this video, I just bought a jewlers saw this weekend and it's a pain in my arse. Thanks.
Apologies for the sudden ending, camera crashed and I lost the last minute 😂
I found your site off instagram completely by accident a few days ago and found this video by accident today looking for a how to. This is AWESOME! Great Video :D
This is very helpful, thank you for sharing.
I’m currently working on a 1:64 diecast nascar car, which I’m gonna turn into a crashed car. But in order to do that I’m needing to cut the hood. I was gonna get one of those saws but don’t know how to spell it...... but now I now I can use my xacto knife. Thanks! 👍
Very Informative....What I use for the handle is a Red Exacto handle, why because is thicker and I have more control on my cutting.....💪👍
Great idea! - I like the metal handle over plastic but I agree it's too thin so maybe I should copy your idea :D
Great "how-to" video..thanks!!
A good video, I watched it all the way and I am glad I did as I would have not done it like this, if I would have a go first time, it takes patients and I will do it on a car I dont care about first,
Thanks for the info on the saw blade
Pleasure Dan, it's a bloody brilliant addition to your customising arsenal!
Where can I find the blade?
Very cool! Thanks for showing us this.
I jewelers saw is a lot fast and easier in my opinion. I’ve never seen a blade cut these diecast tho. I wouldn’t ever imagined lol
Sept. 6, 2019---Thanks for the modeling tip. Getting back into modeling, but instead of aircraft/armor, going for 1/35th scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas. There are VERY few plastic model vehicles in 1/35th scale and the plastic model kits in 1/32nd are of much older vehicles. Then found out about 1/32nd diecast and bought a bunch of 'em. Then found out about 1/36th diecast vehicles and bought more of them. Think I've got something like 3 dozen in both scales? Anyway, they all need detailing of some sort, such as gas/brake/clutch pedals, seat belts, etc. While the driver/passenger doors open, some of my cars (like VW buses) have 4 doors total, many which don't give you the option of opening the sliding door. I TRIED a Dremel cutting wheel....BAD mistake. But after watching your video, ordered the saw blades you talked about.
Very good video and explanation
thanks for the idea really sick
I am new in youtude
Love the vid. Gonna be doing the bumpers on a 2dr onto a 5dr.
Have you got a link for the blades? I can’t find them on Amazon.
Thanks for this vid anyway bud.
Thanks for the tutorial, always had problems on the corners

The Hot Wheels Masters Where is the masters???
do you think using a dental tool to pre score the cuts might help, especially near the precise corners?
I have 2 questions
1. May i know the brand of blade coz i cant find it on ebay?
2. What size of blade you use for jewellers saw?
Thanks in advance
It's verry cool, Nice job👌
Peace ✌️
Superbb!!!!
Quick question: what do you use to hold the car together after the build
Screw or glue
THANKS BRO, NICE JOB
very nice dude
Would this method also work for cutting out headlights?
Is there a Dremel bit just for cutting die cast aluminum?
Can i use it to cut the bumper?
Subscribed
right back at you brother
I want to put a sunroof in an r32, how can i do that wothout cutting too much excess, do I just use a hacksaw with a very thin blade?
Great video, could you put tape on parts of the blade to maybe avoid accidentally nicking other areas?
Thanks Michael. No because you want to be able to use all of the blade and putting tape on part of it would inevitably cause it to catch all the time
My Custom Hotwheels I could see that now, thank you for your reply.
Just subed
Why is your website allways out of stock?
Do doors like angaa diecast
