In 1986 Psgr Ex VIA 6758, aka a VERY late #2, rocketed us from Ottawa to Mtl in 1'40, Dorval being the sole intermediate stop. Top speed recorded was 98 MPH, and the diner waiters wouldn't fill beverages more than 1/2. A great run in the old manner...
I got the DC version of the NY&LE FPA-4 and it’s a smooth, quiet runner 😊 Two questions are on my mind for this latest run: 1.) Will you be selling the LokSound 5 decoders with the FPA-4 files separately for those who want to upgrade to DCC/Sound? 2.) Will the Grand Canyon livery make a comeback? I’m looking to build a consist to pair with the FPA’s and my Walthers Grand Canyon F40’s. Thanks for all you do in the hobby!! 🤝😎
Super excited to see more of these! Idk how many more FPA-4s you plan to come out with, but would love to see some Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad models, our engines have never been done as a model FPA-4 by anyone. Several options for paint schemes and numbers…especially since I see you guys will already have the 6771 number available. NY&LE ones would be cool too
I love seeing these two (locomotives, although Jordan and Jason are entertaining as well) in action. Is there any chance you would offer them as a NYLE-painted pair?
Have you guys thought of buying both 6758 and 6764 to add them to the VIA Rail Historical Associations collection? I would love to see those back in VIA Rail blue and gold even though I was born in 1998 when those FPA's were 9 years retired.

I wonder what the top speed ever recorded on the Canadian might be.
Sounds like heaven!
Great to see these two in action again!
They need their legs stretched every so often!
@@rapidotrains they look in far better shape than in their many years of storage after their demise from VIA.
Would love to see a run of the NY&LE M636 that was there as well, those ex-cariter units are awesome
While we won't be tooling an M636, you may want to talk with Bowser as they have made them in the past.
3:20 "...and, they double as a lawn mower with Mo' Pawwwer!" John
Fun video - and that kid "Jordan" is a great actor!

1) Likely
2) Definitely possible

We won't be re-running these for a while, but these are great options when we do!
oh boy... gotta get me some in stripes to make a Rapido CN passenge train like I rode on in the 70's... yum
That's the stuff!
Great video Jason! Love the FPA Via unit. I'll have to get one.
Thank you!
Wish the 6764 and 6758 duo would get put out by you guys in this release. Would make a nice set.
Perhaps in a future run!
That would be awesome to have both.

There's always a chance!
Dock you 1 point for sagging rear coupler
😆
How long before you do another run of these in N-scale?
It'll be a while!

That would be pretty sweet!
when's the next run of these in N-scale happening?? I'm ready to pre order.
Check with Prairie Shadows. They still have a few in stock!
@@rapidotrains But they are not DCC/Sound nor do they have the lighted number boards, ditch lights etc
@rapidotrains I checked, but they are not DCc/sound, nor are the number boards lit, plus I'm sure that the ditch lights are not included either
Roll’em out again !! I will buy two!
You forgot about the Napa Valley Wine Train FPAs!!
Wait was that a dead body?
Only half-dead...
@ oh great a zombie!
Please take the pair of them back to Canada for the VIA Historical Association. :)
We wish!
Any chance of a Western Md scenic 305? I remember riding behind that FPA4 over 30 yrs ago in Cumberland, although not sure of its original origin...
There's always a chance!
I'd love to see you do a run of C425's! especially LA&L 425!
We'd love to see that too!
C425! Yes Please!🤞

They play beautiful music!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Nice video, likes from me
We appreciate the thumbs up!
I have a question, did 6758 still carried its Blue Nose logo in 1989?
As far as we know, it carried the blue logo from 86 to the end in 89.
How long before you release in American railroads?
Can't say for sure!
2:45 Rapido Timetravel(TM) coming soon??? 😂
We go above and beyond!
Something tells me you guys weren't gonna let those super. Continental line cars go without matching locomotives to go with em
Your insight serves you well!
Real talk, when are we getting the loco from Planes, Trains, & Automobiles?????
The licensing fees would be astronomical!
Rob Dingman aka Bert Dingman was Dell Griffith’s friend at the railroad in the movie.
I mean we are already getting the Silver Streak. Are there plans for the last 4 remaining cars of the train?
Rapido, please do a run of the c425 high hood. Including NYLE 1013.😊
We could...
Would love to see high hood and low nose C424s and C425s from Rapido
Naw it looks so much like Victorian Railways Post War WW2/before WW2
