yikes. in asia server, literally nobody cares which character you bring, as long as the team gets the job done and finishes the domain. when someone dies early, they’d sometimes even apologize in the chat and thank everyone for the carry.
I'm in Asia server, and there are some cases players get toxic too. One time, i decided to do a co op match since i was so laggy, and i thought i can't do the domain on my own. I was hoping others would carry me. I was loading slow, so the host have to invite me again. When i joined, i was using Itto, but i changed my character to Gorou on the character selection screen thingy since i thought 1p was gonna use Noelle but no lol. I noticed there were no healer, so i changed to my lvl 90 benny. 2p said "Gorou," which probably mean they want me to use gorou, but do they want to die? 1p was using Ningguang, 2p was using albedo, and 3p was using eula. I thought using my lvl 80 Gorou was useless since Ningguang and Eula can't prolly benefit from it. Only albedo. When the domain started, i accidentally fell of the domain because my potato phone sometimes moves on its own. When i respawned, they all left, except 3p who was AR 58. When i went to the start challenge, 3p left too, so i left. When i came outside the domain, i tried to accept their domain invite, but it timed out. I was about to tell them that i apologize for loading so slow, but before i sent it, i probably got kicked out. 1p and 2p seems like they know each other. No way 1p would also kick out 2p. Before i got kicked out, I saw 2p say "ugh." And 1p said "omg lee." Lee is my name in game. I just want help, man. I was expecting them to not really care. New players these days.. 😟 Edit: it's been months since this comment was last posted, but guys, i just want to clarify that this happened in my 2nd acc. It was AR 52 back then
What? They didn't even say anything after underestimating Itto. It was a natural reaction given that Azdaha has a geo resistance. LOL what do you expect
They said no Itto and not no Geo. So Geo wasn't the problem. Then again, having a geo character in battle with Azdaha is useful for the shield generation which are really useful anyway. Albedo is not a good choice for Azdaha because he can damage the flower with his body too easily though. Also saying "uh" to "we will kill it anyway" still sounds sour. This game isn't as hard or serious as people make it out to be.

I don't think they were mad, just trying to be helpful. Fighting Azdaha with a geo character is like using a pyro character in the crimson witch domain. Not mad, just feel kind of bad for the Kokomi user. (This is coming from a person with a c1 double crowned Itto)
@@minib4800 hmm that depends, his c1 gets him stacks way more faster for his charged attacks, that means almost “infinite” ca during his ult, what increases his dps. His weapon can make him do more dmg, but you cant do a lot of sequences of ca, on c1 your dmg is more constant. (And i said almost infinite ca, bc actually the “no end ca” is on c6)
I remember meeting a toxic HU Tao main too, in the new domain (the one that has the set for kokomi and ITTO) I was matching and they joined, we were 4 players and all of them chose non healers, so I wanted to bring kokomi and the HU Tao started sending me death threats, I changed to xingqiu so I could at least heal myself even though I felt bad for the others with no healers. They all died but me, I finished the domain and the hu tao main used the Jean emote “oh…” Edit: I think some of y’all missed the point. I wasn’t bothered that much because I had to switch character, the point is that they sent DEATH threats to me and told me to unalive myself, that’s just disgusting and wrong. If you do that do NOT interact with my comment at all or try to justify that person’s actions.

sorry that happened to you! i play in asia server and this happened: i used my eulas ult on the eye of the storm but a fully built hu tao joint one shoted it before my eulas sword bursted and did it again and again and said "hehehehehe" so i did qiqis ult on the flower when we where fighting it but the hu tao main just didnt hit it TwT so then i did barbaras ult and said "hehehehhehe" they said jean"oh..." sticker teleported to liyue, jumped off mountain and ended up dead and used my statue fully OUCHIE welp it was fun xD
I'm sorry, but the Xiao main wasn't being toxic at all. Azhdaha has 70% geo resist so it's only natural they don't advise ppl to use Itto. Sure, the crystallize shield helps but the shield generation is so inconsistent and can be difficult to pick up if it forms at an inconvenient place (below azhdaha's tummy for example). It's not like they hate Itto, belittle you or kicked you out for it too. I know people can play whatever character they want but sometimes people just pick the worst characters for the domain(I had keqing, raiden, beidou and razor fighting the crimson witch domain despite how overload hurts them and the teammates or using yanfei/hu tao/diluc in crimson witch) that people have a hard time pointing it out, fearing others might find it rude/mean.
@@GreenTacos yeah! I don't rly mind when ppl use Itto when fighting azdaha since I assume they're trying to farm friendship. But some ppl prefers finishing the boss fight faster with more efficient character and I don't think they should be shamed for it. Besides they weren't even toxic so I don't think it's fair treating them as one. A toxic player would've kick them out as soon as they see Itto haha
I dont really see any problem here. They just told you its not the best to use geo for that chonky lizard because then hes like the hardest boss to defeat, being programmed for four people, but one of the team have their 70% damage wasted. Thats like to bring hu tao to crimson witch domain then upload to the internet on how people told you that pyro slime immune to pyro. Like its the fact dude he have geo RES thats all.
I dunno, against Azhdaha I once carried my team with Zhongli when everyone else died, even hitting for less damage it's fine because if you can tank its hits, you won't die.
@@silver.shoelaces itto can't sustain himself as well as zhongli can. i've beat domains on my own at the end with characters like diona and xingqiu, but that was only possible because they have added survivability to them as supports.
I mean its 70% geo resist, its almost the same of bringing Kokomi or Barbara to fight the Hydro cube just because they heal. Also crystalize shields scales with EM so unless you have 800+ EM your crystalize shields are paper thin.

Considering the geo resistance, it may be a big disadvantage for the team. But with the crytal shields helping you get rid of the mark and so long as you know how to dodge, you can win against the boss. Kokomi just need to trust her teammates since it's a co-op.

Man, with the Kokomi case, it was not Itto, it was the boss you decided to fight. It's like bringing an hydro element to one hydro domain. It's normal to think it can be hard for you to do damage due the fact that your element choice is in disadvantage there. There is no need to take that comment personally

I got itto on accident. I was a very sad and disappointed because I accidentally used my saved pity up on him. But when I started building him and reading his voice lines, I realized that he wasn't such a bad character after all.

honestly that hu tao’s damage was actually terrible with xingqiu and bennett in the party 😂 so they’re one to talk - a lvl 90 hu tao user with a “decent” but also terrible build
wait im level 90 10/10/8 talents r3 90 dragons bane 50-something rate 158 dmg, build is copium as hell, all off-pieces no cwof and no crit stats on the goblet and i need to use a rate circlet to stay above 50 rate my xinqiu chargeds are like, 15-36k? and the highest my burst has ever done is 112k but on average i do like 89k casually fighting (vape ofc but my xinqiu is also unbuilt level 51 💔 help) asking bc ive had a couple hu taos tell me thats trash but it normally gets the job done?? she cant one shot anything and the gold wolf lord thing is hard, im not a super experienced hu tao main also question would my damage increase by a lot if i had cwof with same stats? (im trying to build my itto and kokomi rn bc efficient, they use the same domain + i THINK my hu tao is ok but after im gonna go back to try get cwof) edit: i know this is a super random place to ask for hu tao advice im sorry i just keep getting told that my hu tao is trash and my childe is good when my childe literally does way less?? 🤨
I like how the person playing Hu Tao during the Childe fight didn't seem to care about being over half health due to Bennett healing them using his burst during the fight
I was the bennett actually, and I always feel bad when ppl bring hu tao and don’t ask me to change. the “lvl 80 swap” comment was bc the xingqiu that left halfway thru was another bennett so hu tao could have asked “no bennett” and I would have swapped to another character too, no problem. I don’t think anyone in that fight was mad at anyone, xingqiu just left bc I think they died
I haven’t met any toxic players, most of the time when someone dies, they apologize and thank anyone who survived. When everyone ends up dead, we just get up and try again. Most of the people I’ve encountered are newer players, they are absolute sweethearts, especially that one Kokomi main.
I have a suspicion there was a language barrier issue here (bases on the user name being what looks to be cyrillic to me) It would have been more polite to say "boss has a high geo resist, sure you want to take in Itto?" but they used very simple English here which I see all the time when I jump into lower Lvd player worlds to help and English is not their first language.

One day I exposed her lies Bc I was tired of her bullshit and she started sending death threat to me and called me trash etc ( example for her lies: Saying that she’s friend with famous Genshin ytber but won’t tell me who she was so I baited her with fake channel asking if she knows it and sure she said she did) her name is skygirlistaken on EU server, beware of her she will act nice at first!!!
i dont really blame the kokomi that much, its like bringing (insert element here) to fight (same element boss here) sure they could have been a bit nicer but perhaps you should have picked a different boss to fight, :D

you can't really rely on Itto's immense DEF to protect you on its own, as there's the 20% reduction in all RES in the burst, so you still need to be careful and utilize a shield/healer. My Itto is tanky as all heck outside the burst but still tends to die during the burst when I'm less careful lmao.
I’m very fortunate to not have met any toxic people in Co-op. I’m very reserved about who I play with and only began opening up my world to other people recently, so huge shoutout to all the people I’ve played with who are never rude (and I’m sorry if I’m awkward idk how to interact with ppl on the internet lol) Here’s my wholesome Co-op experience as a Kokomi main: Matched with some players for a domain run. Peak of Vindagnyr, level 90. The host was a Hu Tao main, then there was a Bennett main, and a Yanfei main. At first I brought in my Childe because I know he is my highest damage dealer and cuts through lawachurls (even cryo ones) nicely. But midway through my grandpa called me (I play on my phone) and I freaked out. Childe died during my little distraction 😗 and I apologized to the host who had died a little before me in the chat. They were chill, but Bennett and Yanfei also ended up dying so… We decided to run it again (the Bennett main apologized because they were afk, I told them it was fine because we just had to try again!). This time I chose to bring Kokomi. No one made any negative comments and were just like, “We need a healer so we don’t die, let’s go”. That round, everyone survived and remained at practically full HP the whole time! When we were done they praised me and the host said Kokomi was OP, I could feel my heart about to burst from fluffy happiness 😭 They were super friendly and I thanked them for being nice to Koko with some balloons before leaving. Anyways thanks to those people who made my day!!! TLDR: Domain run didn’t go so well, used Kokomi and healed everyone, got praised for it. Very wholesome indeed~
I actually don’t think this is toxic at all. It’s because of the Geo resistance which is why they didn’t want you to use Itto (especially because of his ult). I mean, sure you can kill Azhdaha, but it will be slower.
I personally don't think that the player was toxic, they were only worried that the character wont do damage because of the boss's resistance. I didn't find the comment arrogant just because he said a few words, they might not even be fluent in english.
Gotta love that kyo guy! I played genshin for Itto so I as soon as I got him, I was thrilled to use him on boss fights. I just recently beaten up azhdaha alone with my geo team (Childe and Yanfei couldn’t do it together :(() and I was really surprised to know that azhdaha had a whooping 70% geo resistance afterwards 💀. I didn’t even notice it because I thought my Itto was doing great! Even after knowing that information, I still plan to use him on azhdaha because he deals more dmg (despite being underbuilt) than my built Childe :’]]]!
I haven't seen any toxic conversation during random match, everyone either stays quiet or are super nice (I can see many are Japanese or Korean) Some of them aren't there to claim the rewards but just want to carry
Back when Itto came out, i had a guy come to my world and ask for my beetles. He only took a few, and i asked if he only needed a couple. He said he didn't know where any more were. I personally escorted him around the world to every single beetle haha (and told him about the interactive map)
Asia server is so peaceful that even if you lose ( and the whole team ) everyone would apologize for not being able to carry and do their part . I feel so good to know that there is least toxicity in Asia server . I once lost in valley of remembrance domain in co-op ( i died first ) and after that everyone died . After it everyone was apologizing 🥺🥺( i too did)
i met a player that wouldnt let me use my heavily built f2p beidou or practically anything i currently had then, it wasnt very hard to bail on them and leave. just because beidou cant affect electro slimes with her skill or burst dosent mean i can beat the heck out of them with my 8k neutral attack.
Yep, I had to do wolf trounce in my early f2p account days using Chongyun, Kaeya, Xiangling, and anemo traveler. Lots of auto attacks and batterying Xiangling lol.
It's like that person had never hear of Physical damage, Lol. I just let players in my world play who they want with the caveat that the player who spawned in first gets first dibs, even if their unit is lower leveled. Thankfully the 3 Ganyu's who spawned into my world today nicely sorted out who was playing her amongst themselves (they swapped ever few runs!)
I do the crimson witch domain a lot and I've seen people bring in hu tao, bennett, keqing or even lisa in that domain. no one ever told them to switch characters and they all still managed to finish the domain quickly enough. like sure bringing those characters into the cw domain isn't the best idea, but personally as long as you can survive and help the rest of the team I don't see a problem 🤷
I was the bennett in that co op, and yes, that’s what happened! the xingqiu was a lvl 80 bennett so the “lvl 80 swap” comment was directed at them since my bennett is lvl 90

Someone once went into a level 90 domain with a level 60 itto, I didn’t stop them but I wished they would switch though, they did 2k per charged attack so I had to carry
Seen that myself, same level spread. At least it's usually just one spot out of four, but still... it's a dead spot, literally, because they dirt nap pretty quick.
I host co-oo sometimes, and I even allow players who uses lvl 50 or 60 in a lvl 90 domain. Cos why not? Sometimes it can surprise you how much they can deal with that level, what more with max level and talents right? And if they did die, we can restart.
Had someone show off their level 1 Yanfei in... I think it was the Oceanic Defender event boss fight at max level, and they hit 8K. The other three of us were destroying the boss anyways so it didn't matter that the Yanfei kept dirt-napping. XD
to be fair, it's more easier and efficient to have thinner arms in the technical side, they can move around more the model and have more space to work with, more smoother animations and all. I think it looks pretty good altho i can't blame someone getting excited for some buffer arms like on his splash art did emphasis
6:38 I do that a lot. Pls forgive us pc players because sometimes I keep forgetting that I'm the host, and I'm used to clicking the "ready" button right after selecting my character 😅
As a PC player it's actually rare to see anything in chat, and there's no telling what devices people are connected with while we're picking chars. I usually see/interact with chat before or after a run unless someone has a question during char-pick phase.
Once I was running the stone forest geo set domain, and there was this toxic ayaka player bashing the host for wanting to bring in a level 60 kokomi. Then the cryo abyss mages appeared. I was dying of laughter when the ayaka threw a curse and rage quit in the domain. Everyone else then died and I tried to solo carry with ZL but I ran out of time because my 44% crit never wants to proc on his ult.
I've run clam co-op with random lower-level Kokomis and it's been fine. So long as they're doing good building her, she keeps us all from being dissolved by corruption. Plus I main Xiao so umm, u heal? ILY.
As player on NA server who’s ar 57 who’s been playing ever since 1.3- never met a singular toxic person. The only thing that was eh was when someone brought their lvl 20 Eula into a cryo artifact domain (I was already endgame so the lvl was the highest) back when she first released and they recommended someone else since Eula wouldn’t help much.
This reminds me of when raiden came out lol, I had to turn co op off cause ppl would "fish" and end up stealing recourses I needed at like ar 35 or smth. Itto ppl aren't as bad tbh, they end up helping me if I need help at that point and they're rlly fun in co op domains😂
Nothing wrong with asking a better team match up for a smooth run & they DID explain that boss resist to geo 🤷 the toxic one are people pick their favorites character regardless team's benefit

so crazy this video randomly popped up in my recommended when I’m the bennett during the childe fight 😅 edit: also when the host mentioned “lvl 80 swap” before starting the fight it was because there was another bennett (lvl 80) and mine is lvl 90 so they were telling them to swap to a different character, and later during the fight I think that person exited the fight so it was just us 3!!
Man I will swap out my lvl 90 Xiao triple-crown main if I see a level 70 baby Xiao because they can play the char they want to and I'll heal the stuffins out of them with my Qiqi.

Yeah, but in co op, i belive every team mate raises the boss' hp by 50%. So this dude made the boss have higher hp and brought a half built character that deals 70% less dmg than normal.
I dunno what's up with the people. My teams are strong enough to effortlessly destroy any domain so technically I don't need to do any co-op. I do it for fun and to spend time with people and sometimes you get a nice conversation going. But even if not it is still better than doing it alone. I am actually happy when they for once let me play the carry and I can show off my cracked Raiden :D
There's nothing wrong with lvl 80. None of my character is lvl 90, and I can 36* abyss, heck half of the team is lvl 70. It took me like 100 tries though lol
As someone who only uses 70-80 characters, I have mad respect for you. I’m too lazy to ascend them but they actually do decent damage (my level 80 Childe does over 20k per burst and did 60k once too). But how do you 36* Abyss??? Like I can’t even get to Floor 12 let alone do that 😂😂😂
I have 3 80-ascended characters (Hu Tao, Childe and Xiangling) but Childe and Xiangling still need a lot of work cause their crit rates are sub-optimal (both around 50%, Xiangling reaches 50% thanks to Catch passive). I can clear all through 11-2 with 3 stars but 11-3 maybe 1 star and never tried floor 12 more because I'm a coward than anything lol I play the game for fun not to be anxious trying to get damn 50 primos lmao
@@MianationAnimation I got Raiden, and she is ridiculous with National Team. Pretty much the main reason I'm able to 36star Abyss. Another reasons is my love for Electro. Triple crowned Keqing, double crowned Beidou, with Kazuha and one healer.
@@mfdz292 waaaah that’s so cool! I don’t have Raiden (had to skip for guaranteed Kokomi) and I was a new player when Kazuha came around, having joined around Klee’s banner. I wanted him so bad that I cried when he didn’t come home at 72 guaranteed pity 😭 But I do main Ayaka, Koko, Fischl/Bennett, and Childe. They’re the main reasons I’m able to even get a single star on Floor 11.
On Sunday I did co op domain for diligence talent books but ended up not spending any resin because we were all chatting. I was the last that joined and right when I joined they were talking about Yunjin and we ended up talking about our favorite characters. Then, one of them brought out the lyre and we basically had a concert until each one had to leave. I was also doing co op Childe boss and I went Noelle. Everyone except me died so I had to slowly kill Childe because Noelle has energy problems so I wasn’t able to ult because the other Geo we had (Itto) also died. Thank goodness it was already lower than half hp because even that took forever. No one left the domain and was just cheering with stickers.
As an albedo main with itto dps, id have to agree cuz of resistance. I dont think they "didnt like" your itto, its simply the fact that he was a but unsuitable for the fight. After all, you contributed only 30% of your potential dont you think?
My question is how did Kokomi die? She is pretty much immortal lol also I agree with the rest you should have brought another dps, Itto wasn’t doing much there
Tbh this is the main reason I don’t do co-op, I play by myself and do bosses myself cause I know I’ll get bash for playing my character. I only join co-op if I can’t defeat the domain my self and need help. Anyways here’s a story to another reason I don’t do co-op. I met a toxic xiao main saying to switch my Yoimiya because she was “bad,” to them. The host started the domain, the xiao died and the host and I were the last ones standing and defeated the domain. The xiao took the rewards then left, it was funny ngl.
i don’t understand why it bothers ppl, the american server is always filled with uptight ppl but srsly ppl were getting mad at me too for pulling out itto and i was one of the ones that had prefarm all of his material, he was fully built right after i got him it’s not that big of a deal they do the same with their fav char ?-?
ive never gone through any toxic co-ops (well except for 1..) it was a low lvl in asia server, They were doing achievements and i didnt know so i was just easily killing every enemy , eventually they got super mad at me, kept insulting me by calling me “useless” , saying i couldn’t do anything correctly. Then, my game glitched so i said i would rejoin, when i tried to rejoin, they kept declining my co-op requests.

I watched this after just getting out of the most wholesome co-op ever. Ayaka helped me farm for my ayaka, then played a song while we waited for the boss to respawn they also told me that I can farm flowers it was literally so sweet

Y’all, even with geo resistance you should have at least one geo in your party to provide shields. Also, physical damage is a thing that some people focus on instead, I don’t think they were toxic from what we can see though. I personally hate public co-op. I only co-op with my friends. Especially since I find duo easier, so that I can have my Zhong shield always. ^^

@@seganaleqa the shields are based on EM anyways so unless you got good EM on the geo character (which I doubt), the shields are useless. And physical dmg is a thing but that makes your e kill/ ult not do as good of a dmg. It better to just NOT bring geo lmao.

I was doing the new artifact domain with the wolves and there was this person who had a lv. 70 Benette. This Hu Tao main had a lv.80 Benette that they later changed to Hu Tao and they told the lv.70 Benette to change. Then I said that if they want to play as Benette they should. The Hu Tao main then started the domain and died first.

I've never really had any toxic encounters on genshin coop (yet), but not too long ago I joined some randoms to do the new artifact domain and not long after they started to play as support/healers, so I decided to play "DPS". So with that in mind I choose Raiden and we all go in, the thing is- *I forgor how my Raiden still had lvl 4 on all talents* 💀. I was really worried about it and it didn't make it better they would talk about some of the dmg they did during those matches. Fortunately, they didn't go mad that I didn't do as big pp damage as other Raidens, in fact, they complimented me and said 85k was really good in general for burst 😳😳😳 I had to leave after that though, my anxiety was kicking in just because of that ajfhrhejaaeugh 💀🤚
Also, just in case someone comments that "How could your Raiden do 85k in her burst if all her talents were lvl 4? 🤨" I've seen other Raiden users hit more higher numbers with the exact talent lvl in her burst thanks to either REALLY GOOD artifacts or REALLY WELL BUILT SUPPORTS- So uh yeah, as I said, everyone else in that match was playing as support (Bennett, Kokomi and I think Zhongli?) except for me. Usually my Raiden hits between 30k-45k in her burst, and that's only if I'm lucky enough to crit 🧍♀️
Hey some people don't even know talents exist. Meanwhile I usually don't pay attention to numbers because there are usually so many dang numbers on the screen... other than I want my Qiqi's dps higher for co-op which is why I'm farming clam finally, but her heals are fine in her current high-ATK gladiator set and I haven't heard a peep from anyone if they notice I'm not destroying my targets like my carry characters would.

yikes. in asia server, literally nobody cares which character you bring, as long as the team gets the job done and finishes the domain. when someone dies early, they’d sometimes even apologize in the chat and thank everyone for the carry.

I'm in Asia server, and there are some cases players get toxic too. One time, i decided to do a co op match since i was so laggy, and i thought i can't do the domain on my own. I was hoping others would carry me. I was loading slow, so the host have to invite me again. When i joined, i was using Itto, but i changed my character to Gorou on the character selection screen thingy since i thought 1p was gonna use Noelle but no lol. I noticed there were no healer, so i changed to my lvl 90 benny. 2p said "Gorou," which probably mean they want me to use gorou, but do they want to die? 1p was using Ningguang, 2p was using albedo, and 3p was using eula. I thought using my lvl 80 Gorou was useless since Ningguang and Eula can't prolly benefit from it. Only albedo. When the domain started, i accidentally fell of the domain because my potato phone sometimes moves on its own. When i respawned, they all left, except 3p who was AR 58. When i went to the start challenge, 3p left too, so i left. When i came outside the domain, i tried to accept their domain invite, but it timed out. I was about to tell them that i apologize for loading so slow, but before i sent it, i probably got kicked out. 1p and 2p seems like they know each other. No way 1p would also kick out 2p. Before i got kicked out, I saw 2p say "ugh." And 1p said "omg lee." Lee is my name in game. I just want help, man. I was expecting them to not really care. New players these days.. 😟

They said no Itto and not no Geo. So Geo wasn't the problem.
Then again, having a geo character in battle with Azdaha is useful for the shield generation which are really useful anyway. Albedo is not a good choice for Azdaha because he can damage the flower with his body too easily though.
Also saying "uh" to "we will kill it anyway" still sounds sour.

His weapon can make him do more dmg, but you cant do a lot of sequences of ca, on c1 your dmg is more constant. (And i said almost infinite ca, bc actually the “no end ca” is on c6)

I remember meeting a toxic HU Tao main too, in the new domain (the one that has the set for kokomi and ITTO) I was matching and they joined, we were 4 players and all of them chose non healers, so I wanted to bring kokomi and the HU Tao started sending me death threats, I changed to xingqiu so I could at least heal myself even though I felt bad for the others with no healers. They all died but me, I finished the domain and the hu tao main used the Jean emote “oh…”

I wasn’t bothered that much because I had to switch character, the point is that they sent DEATH threats to me and told me to unalive myself, that’s just disgusting and wrong. If you do that do NOT interact with my comment at all or try to justify that person’s actions.

so then i did barbaras ult and said "hehehehhehe"
they said jean"oh..." sticker teleported to liyue, jumped off mountain and ended up dead and used my statue fully

I'm sorry, but the Xiao main wasn't being toxic at all. Azhdaha has 70% geo resist so it's only natural they don't advise ppl to use Itto. Sure, the crystallize shield helps but the shield generation is so inconsistent and can be difficult to pick up if it forms at an inconvenient place (below azhdaha's tummy for example). It's not like they hate Itto, belittle you or kicked you out for it too. I know people can play whatever character they want but sometimes people just pick the worst characters for the domain(I had keqing, raiden, beidou and razor fighting the crimson witch domain despite how overload hurts them and the teammates or using yanfei/hu tao/diluc in crimson witch) that people have a hard time pointing it out, fearing others might find it rude/mean.

I dont really see any problem here. They just told you its not the best to use geo for that chonky lizard because then hes like the hardest boss to defeat, being programmed for four people, but one of the team have their 70% damage wasted. Thats like to bring hu tao to crimson witch domain then upload to the internet on how people told you that pyro slime immune to pyro. Like its the fact dude he have geo RES thats all.
I dunno, against Azhdaha I once carried my team with Zhongli when everyone else died, even hitting for less damage it's fine because if you can tank its hits, you won't die.

I mean its 70% geo resist, its almost the same of bringing Kokomi or Barbara to fight the Hydro cube just because they heal. Also crystalize shields scales with EM so unless you have 800+ EM your crystalize shields are paper thin.

crystallize shields are still useful on azhdaha because a shield removes his mark so you stop losing hp.
Considering the geo resistance, it may be a big disadvantage for the team. But with the crytal shields helping you get rid of the mark and so long as you know how to dodge, you can win against the boss. Kokomi just need to trust her teammates since it's a co-op.

I haven’t met any toxic players, most of the time when someone dies, they apologize and thank anyone who survived. When everyone ends up dead, we just get up and try again. Most of the people I’ve encountered are newer players, they are absolute sweethearts, especially that one Kokomi main.

you can't really rely on Itto's immense DEF to protect you on its own, as there's the 20% reduction in all RES in the burst, so you still need to be careful and utilize a shield/healer. My Itto is tanky as all heck outside the burst but still tends to die during the burst when I'm less careful lmao.

I’m very reserved about who I play with and only began opening up my world to other people recently, so huge shoutout to all the people I’ve played with who are never rude (and I’m sorry if I’m awkward idk how to interact with ppl on the internet lol)
Here’s my wholesome Co-op experience as a Kokomi main:
Matched with some players for a domain run. Peak of Vindagnyr, level 90. The host was a Hu Tao main, then there was a Bennett main, and a Yanfei main.
At first I brought in my Childe because I know he is my highest damage dealer and cuts through lawachurls (even cryo ones) nicely. But midway through my grandpa called me (I play on my phone) and I freaked out.
Childe died during my little distraction 😗 and I apologized to the host who had died a little before me in the chat. They were chill, but Bennett and Yanfei also ended up dying so…
We decided to run it again (the Bennett main apologized because they were afk, I told them it was fine because we just had to try again!). This time I chose to bring Kokomi.
No one made any negative comments and were just like, “We need a healer so we don’t die, let’s go”. That round, everyone survived and remained at practically full HP the whole time!
When we were done they praised me and the host said Kokomi was OP, I could feel my heart about to burst from fluffy happiness 😭 They were super friendly and I thanked them for being nice to Koko with some balloons before leaving. Anyways thanks to those people who made my day!!!
TLDR: Domain run didn’t go so well, used Kokomi and healed everyone, got praised for it. Very wholesome indeed~
I actually don’t think this is toxic at all. It’s because of the Geo resistance which is why they didn’t want you to use Itto (especially because of his ult). I mean, sure you can kill Azhdaha, but it will be slower.
I personally don't think that the player was toxic, they were only worried that the character wont do damage because of the boss's resistance. I didn't find the comment arrogant just because he said a few words, they might not even be fluent in english.

I just recently beaten up azhdaha alone with my geo team (Childe and Yanfei couldn’t do it together :(() and I was really surprised to know that azhdaha had a whooping 70% geo resistance afterwards 💀. I didn’t even notice it because I thought my Itto was doing great! Back when Itto came out, i had a guy come to my world and ask for my beetles. He only took a few, and i asked if he only needed a couple. He said he didn't know where any more were. I personally escorted him around the world to every single beetle haha (and told him about the interactive map)

Asia server is so peaceful that even if you lose ( and the whole team ) everyone would apologize for not being able to carry and do their part . I feel so good to know that there is least toxicity in Asia server . I once lost in valley of remembrance domain in co-op ( i died first ) and after that everyone died . After it everyone was apologizing 🥺🥺( i too did)
i met a player that wouldnt let me use my heavily built f2p beidou or practically anything i currently had then, it wasnt very hard to bail on them and leave.
just because beidou cant affect electro slimes with her skill or burst dosent mean i can beat the heck out of them with my 8k neutral attack.
Yep, I had to do wolf trounce in my early f2p account days using Chongyun, Kaeya, Xiangling, and anemo traveler. Lots of auto attacks and batterying Xiangling lol.
It's like that person had never hear of Physical damage, Lol. I just let players in my world play who they want with the caveat that the player who spawned in first gets first dibs, even if their unit is lower leveled. Thankfully the 3 Ganyu's who spawned into my world today nicely sorted out who was playing her amongst themselves (they swapped ever few runs!)
I do the crimson witch domain a lot and I've seen people bring in hu tao, bennett, keqing or even lisa in that domain. no one ever told them to switch characters and they all still managed to finish the domain quickly enough. like sure bringing those characters into the cw domain isn't the best idea, but personally as long as you can survive and help the rest of the team I don't see a problem 🤷

Seen that myself, same level spread. At least it's usually just one spot out of four, but still... it's a dead spot, literally, because they dirt nap pretty quick.
I host co-oo sometimes, and I even allow players who uses lvl 50 or 60 in a lvl 90 domain. Cos why not? Sometimes it can surprise you how much they can deal with that level, what more with max level and talents right? And if they did die, we can restart.
Had someone show off their level 1 Yanfei in... I think it was the Oceanic Defender event boss fight at max level, and they hit 8K. The other three of us were destroying the boss anyways so it didn't matter that the Yanfei kept dirt-napping. XD
It does surprise me that they didn’t give him more buff arms. I think he is a lot like the sound hashira from Damon slayer
to be fair, it's more easier and efficient to have thinner arms in the technical side, they can move around more the model and have more space to work with, more smoother animations and all. I think it looks pretty good altho i can't blame someone getting excited for some buffer arms like on his splash art did emphasis

As a PC player it's actually rare to see anything in chat, and there's no telling what devices people are connected with while we're picking chars. I usually see/interact with chat before or after a run unless someone has a question during char-pick phase.

Once I was running the stone forest geo set domain, and there was this toxic ayaka player bashing the host for wanting to bring in a level 60 kokomi. Then the cryo abyss mages appeared. I was dying of laughter when the ayaka threw a curse and rage quit in the domain. Everyone else then died and I tried to solo carry with ZL but I ran out of time because my 44% crit never wants to proc on his ult.
I've run clam co-op with random lower-level Kokomis and it's been fine. So long as they're doing good building her, she keeps us all from being dissolved by corruption. Plus I main Xiao so umm, u heal? ILY.
As player on NA server who’s ar 57 who’s been playing ever since 1.3- never met a singular toxic person. The only thing that was eh was when someone brought their lvl 20 Eula into a cryo artifact domain (I was already endgame so the lvl was the highest) back when she first released and they recommended someone else since Eula wouldn’t help much.
This reminds me of when raiden came out lol, I had to turn co op off cause ppl would "fish" and end up stealing recourses I needed at like ar 35 or smth. Itto ppl aren't as bad tbh, they end up helping me if I need help at that point and they're rlly fun in co op domains😂
I felt so lucky for not met any toxic player in coop, i hope this gonna continue..

Honestly I play in the European server and I rarely met any toxic players (only once or twice). There's also a lot of Russian players so that's fun.
Nothing wrong with asking a better team match up for a smooth run & they DID explain that boss resist to geo 🤷 the toxic one are people pick their favorites character regardless team's benefit

edit: also when the host mentioned “lvl 80 swap” before starting the fight it was because there was another bennett (lvl 80) and mine is lvl 90 so they were telling them to swap to a different character, and later during the fight I think that person exited the fight so it was just us 3!!

Yeah, but in co op, i belive every team mate raises the boss' hp by 50%. So this dude made the boss have higher hp and brought a half built character that deals 70% less dmg than normal.

I dunno what's up with the people. My teams are strong enough to effortlessly destroy any domain so technically I don't need to do any co-op. I do it for fun and to spend time with people and sometimes you get a nice conversation going. But even if not it is still better than doing it alone. I am actually happy when they for once let me play the carry and I can show off my cracked Raiden :D
There's nothing wrong with lvl 80. None of my character is lvl 90, and I can 36* abyss, heck half of the team is lvl 70. It took me like 100 tries though lol
As someone who only uses 70-80 characters, I have mad respect for you. I’m too lazy to ascend them but they actually do decent damage (my level 80 Childe does over 20k per burst and did 60k once too).

I have 3 80-ascended characters (Hu Tao, Childe and Xiangling) but Childe and Xiangling still need a lot of work cause their crit rates are sub-optimal (both around 50%, Xiangling reaches 50% thanks to Catch passive). I can clear all through 11-2 with 3 stars but 11-3 maybe 1 star and never tried floor 12 more because I'm a coward than anything lol I play the game for fun not to be anxious trying to get damn 50 primos lmao

Another reasons is my love for Electro. Triple crowned Keqing, double crowned Beidou, with Kazuha and one healer.

I wanted him so bad that I cried when he didn’t come home at 72 guaranteed pity 😭 But I do main Ayaka, Koko, Fischl/Bennett, and Childe. They’re the main reasons I’m able to even get a single star on Floor 11.

On Sunday I did co op domain for diligence talent books but ended up not spending any resin because we were all chatting. I was the last that joined and right when I joined they were talking about Yunjin and we ended up talking about our favorite characters. Then, one of them brought out the lyre and we basically had a concert until each one had to leave. I was also doing co op Childe boss and I went Noelle. Everyone except me died so I had to slowly kill Childe because Noelle has energy problems so I wasn’t able to ult because the other Geo we had (Itto) also died. Thank goodness it was already lower than half hp because even that took forever. No one left the domain and was just cheering with stickers.
As an albedo main with itto dps, id have to agree cuz of resistance. I dont think they "didnt like" your itto, its simply the fact that he was a but unsuitable for the fight. After all, you contributed only 30% of your potential dont you think?

Tbh this is the main reason I don’t do co-op, I play by myself and do bosses myself cause I know I’ll get bash for playing my character. I only join co-op if I can’t defeat the domain my self and need help. Anyways here’s a story to another reason I don’t do co-op. I met a toxic xiao main saying to switch my Yoimiya because she was “bad,” to them. The host started the domain, the xiao died and the host and I were the last ones standing and defeated the domain. The xiao took the rewards then left, it was funny ngl.

They were doing achievements and i didnt know so i was just easily killing every enemy , eventually they got super mad at me, kept insulting me by calling me “useless” , saying i couldn’t do anything correctly. Then, my game glitched so i said i would rejoin, when i tried to rejoin, they kept declining my co-op requests.

Y’all, even with geo resistance you should have at least one geo in your party to provide shields. Also, physical damage is a thing that some people focus on instead, I don’t think they were toxic from what we can see though. I personally hate public co-op. I only co-op with my friends. Especially since I find duo easier, so that I can have my Zhong shield always. ^^
Na you don't need geo especially if the domain has geo resistance.

@@seganaleqa the shields are based on EM anyways so unless you got good EM on the geo character (which I doubt), the shields are useless. And physical dmg is a thing but that makes your e kill/ ult not do as good of a dmg. It better to just NOT bring geo lmao.

I was doing the new artifact domain with the wolves and there was this person who had a lv. 70 Benette. This Hu Tao main had a lv.80 Benette that they later changed to Hu Tao and they told the lv.70 Benette to change. Then I said that if they want to play as Benette they should. The Hu Tao main then started the domain and died first.

I've never really had any toxic encounters on genshin coop (yet), but not too long ago I joined some randoms to do the new artifact domain and not long after they started to play as support/healers, so I decided to play "DPS". So with that in mind I choose Raiden and we all go in, the thing is- *I forgor how my Raiden still had lvl 4 on all talents* 💀. I was really worried about it and it didn't make it better they would talk about some of the dmg they did during those matches. Fortunately, they didn't go mad that I didn't do as big pp damage as other Raidens, in fact, they complimented me and said 85k was really good in general for burst 😳😳😳
I had to leave after that though, my anxiety was kicking in just because of that ajfhrhejaaeugh 💀🤚
Also, just in case someone comments that "How could your Raiden do 85k in her burst if all her talents were lvl 4? 🤨" I've seen other Raiden users hit more higher numbers with the exact talent lvl in her burst thanks to either REALLY GOOD artifacts or REALLY WELL BUILT SUPPORTS-
So uh yeah, as I said, everyone else in that match was playing as support (Bennett, Kokomi and I think Zhongli?) except for me. Usually my Raiden hits between 30k-45k in her burst, and that's only if I'm lucky enough to crit 🧍♀️
Hey some people don't even know talents exist. Meanwhile I usually don't pay attention to numbers because there are usually so many dang numbers on the screen... other than I want my Qiqi's dps higher for co-op which is why I'm farming clam finally, but her heals are fine in her current high-ATK gladiator set and I haven't heard a peep from anyone if they notice I'm not destroying my targets like my carry characters would.
