Something similar happend to me last week, was in an azhdaha coop with ganyu, raiden, and arle main, he was resistence to pyro and electro. My baizhu is the only one alive and that arle main rage quit, fun time

Their arle was doing horrible dmg, my arle on 4pc gladiator and jade winged spear does like 5x the dmg, they didn’t even get over 10k (arle is supposed to do like 40-70k per hit at least for me, and that’s probably low in comparison to other better arle)
Yeah I don't get it when people hate on her. Like, sure, there's better healers in this game, but there's also a lot worse. She's still one of my main healers to this day. If you build her right she's actually pretty decent. I'll defend barbara until the day genshin shuts down lol
I'm working on my Barbara build rn, I considered getting Kokomi but I just really like Barbara as a character. I gave her the new event catalyst and she's doing some extra dmg occasionally (like 11k on average) and bc it's physical dmg it bypasses the shields and hydro slimes + she's keeping the rest of the team alive
My Barbara did 60k recently with a trashy dps build 😭 Barbara is op with Vaporize due to her high charged attacks dmg. Even so she is a good healer as well so I really don't know why this Arle main was so mad about.
I will never have anyone hate on Barbara. She carried me early e game especially in Dragonspine, and I still have her built to this day at lv 90 with relevant talents. Now I have Kokomi, but that wasn't always the case, and I appreciate Barbara for everything she did for me before Kokomi and other healers happened. Hell, I appreciate even Qiqi for helping me in very early game as well, when I used to main physical Zhongli (who somehow cleared all 8 first floors of abyss, lol. I think my team back then was Zhongli, Fischl, Qiqi, and I forget who else, maybe Bennett?) I've gotten a LOT better over time and have proper characters, even had an era of burst DPS Zhongli until that no longer became feasible (now he is Hu Tao shielder only without sub-DPSing her, that is Furina and Yelan's job now) due to Geo well, being very left behind lol, and enemies getting stronger so you needed full HP build shields to counter them. Long story short, Barbara was there to help pretty much everyone at some point and she should be respected. Hell, she still has a place in bloom teams so it's not even like she completely fell off (unlike Qiqi), or has an extremely bad kit like Dehya (though even that is changing now.) I do think you should be considerate of your teammates when you're doing co-op, but the Arlechomo main was anything but, not only being rude but also bringing a useless unit for this particular fight lol.
It can be done, I've used her on my friend's account, as long as you have a strong Arlechomo and teammates, you can brute-force it, but if you don't, well.... this happens. Co-op is also hard to coordinate even when everyone does have suitable characters so he should have brought another DPS.

I’m fine with them joining my co-ops but it’s still a risky pick :/ I’m sorry you had to deal with that person
Even if they did, Arlechomo is probably the worst character to bring to this particular fight, unable to be healed, and very squishy glass cannon DPS for a boss that has a very wide range of attack. Unless a shielder is present, that spells trouble, and even then, unless the entire team works around Arlechomo, they're going to struggle. There was simply zero reason to bring her to this particular fight.

I bring in arlecchino and deyha a lot and do just fine. it's knowing to dodge/when to use your skills. simply put it's a skill issue on that players part. I've brought a healer into coop and people still die cause they don't understand that if you want heals you have to be close to the heals
All characters can be dps's but some kids that take this non competitive game serious think that everyone should play the op characters, thank god I've never played more than twice with those type of people
I've been enjoying this game so much bc I play and build whoever I want to. When in co-op I always take my jean bc she's well rounded out and maybe she's not op but she can keep the team alive. I say play who you want as long as you're not dragging everyone else down

Way back in early 2.X I matched with an ayaka trashing on bennett for triggering the geo artifact domain's negative effect when my bennett heals for 7k/second. The moment the cryo mages spawned they threw a curse in chat and left the session lmao.
I didn't experienced that but when someone joined my world and i ask them a favor that i want to have a pic with scara, but she/he said no, and then i ask her a help to ascend my kazuha, but she said 'No, you impolite' and she/he said again 'impolite weak beginner' like what did i even said? I never cursed or mock them, what's their problem, and after that i always reject the people who's going to joind my world because of that player😢 (Anyways i blocked her/him and reported)

I don't really co-op anymore but I used to during the pandemic and I wouldn't mind carrying if that's what it took. Just seeing people happy made me happy, this was around Enka/Delphi patch, which was my favourite area until Sumeru and now Natlan. I got called into people's worlds so much especially for the vishap quests that I had "Enkanomiya tour guide" as my signature for a while. I'm still friendly with some of those people so it's nice to help others, one of them makes it a point to say hi to me whenever I'm online and I find that very sweet, even if I rarely co-op now, due to not having that kind of time.
I took arl into that boss fight cause she was the only 1 i had built at the time but even i knew how to dodge most of the time and cant be healed by others the only time i complained was when someone brought a lvl 1 chungyun and died instantly and when a tighnari was killing me with dendro smoke cloud when fighting her lol but i just gave up and spent the rest of the day building a character i could use for her coop

Obviously, this person's behaviour isn't reflective of EVERYONE who owns the HoTH grxxmer, but them refusing to switch to a different character and having her as a pfp I think says a lot as to their attachment (even if they don't seem to know how she works, and call her boss form lame, which tbf it is, but that's an aside.) Just because the individual happens to behave like Scaramouche doesn't mean s/he mains Scaramouche. Mains are just favourite characters, it doesn't mean you 1:1 them. I'm a Raiden/Hu Tao main (in abyss), and Raiden/Tao/Ayaka/Nilou main in the OW, yet my personality is probably more like Dottore or Al-Haitham.

I've been playing for years and I've maybe only joined 1 lobby where some players were kinda rude to me and then kicked me out of their party for no apparent reason, and that was just here recently, but even they weren't on this guys level. They just called me a loser and then kicked me simply because i said i didnt get to claim our reward for a trounce domain because i died right at the very end lol. Seems like I've had great luck in matching with super nice people though overall. That's one of the things I like so much about this game. The amount of randoms who are genuinely nice to me and would help me out with things even when it didn't benefit them at all. I hope I never get the misfortune of getting stuck in a party with assEATER. 1 because his attitude stinks (guess it makes his name fitting), and 2 because he doesn't even know how to play and yet criticized others when he picked a character that sealed his fate from the begining lol
The most toxic one I co oped with someone from my own country, I lied he asked for my whatsapp after a while and I the idiot gave it to him, then he started messaging me like crazy and whenwe failed a co op challenge, I decided to unfriend and block. He sent me angry messages and it was too much, I didn’t co op again because of that for two years.
Dang that sucks. Can't let 1 jerk ruin it for you though. There's a lot of really good people out there to play with. Hope now you get better luck. Unfortunately there are some people that suck but I met way more friendly people on here than rude ones
someone got mad at me for using kokomi in a domain, and i once got instantly kicked for no apparent reason (i was going to do an artifact domain and was alhaitham and the person yelled at the host to kick me, and im assuming theyre friends but im still so confused 'cause it was like public?? they were matching so like why kick me)
I'm so lucky with my coops. Got a really good team with a level 60 shark girl while I was running Furina. Worked fine. Only arle died once bc of a timing issue. We had fun 🤷

meh. I play solo for a reason. every game has toxic players but at least with this game you dont have to deal with them

I'm so lucky with my coops. Got a really good team with a level 60 shark girl while I was running Furina. Worked fine. Only arle died once bc of a timing issue. We had fun 🤷
