That garden hose clamp is pure genius. I'm gonna make one for my own workshop. I'm using about 20 clamps to glue down tops and backs right now. This idea uses only 2. I love it.
Cristiana, You are truly a master woodworker. You are fabulous. I am so entranced watching your hands work through this process. Thank you for sharing this remarkable journey.
I am not a musician and even less wood worker, but seeing you making this Ukulele was a real pleasure, you work great and the result is excellent, congratulations and thank you for these two videos, i wait the last
Thanks for your honesty during the build when design or build changes were made, it is refreshing to know I'm not the only one who makes mistakes and recovers quickly. Great project.
Every second of the video worth all the waiting, I'm always amazed by how clean and beautiful ur work is... To be honest you are one of the most talented wood workers and youtubers...
I'm still just amazed at the attention to detail in this build! I seriously can't believe this is your first guitar/acoustic instrument build. I'm a lifelong guitarist, and after watching this video, UA-cam took me on a deep dive into Greenfield's videos and a couple others....I think I have a new dream project now!
One of the coolest videos i've seen. A tip on getting a more bassy sound: Don't know if you are going to glue or bolt the neck, but a glued on neck gives a more warm and natural sound. You could round over the neck where your hands overlap it (the top and bottom edges of the fretboard), this makes for a more comfortable grip too. Great build as always! Abraço de um brasileiro!
Pre-mixed shellac has a "Best Before " - it is better to buy dry flakes and dissolve them yourself so it is as fresh as possible. "Good" shellac should be completely dry in about a half hour.
Hello ! I like your UA-cam channel, all your works are phenomenal, I admire your art and your concept of creating, I admire you a lot. from Chile a big hug. You are a great very humble person. Thanks for the knowledge. Good job, Rock !!
Outstanding work Cristiana! I must say I appreciate the subtleties in your carpentry work and the video editing 1) The zoom and focus in which you show the material is phenomenal. 2) The reference to the date of the video in Portuguese. 3) You integrate the time-lapse footage of the city of Porto in the body of the video which gives a good contextual reference to your work in both the geographical and historical dimensions. The best of the best for me is the alignment of the nail gun shots with the rhythm of the music. Was that done in real time or just by editing? Keep on the hard work!
Pretty sure, that I will never build an instrument, but I really enjoy following you on your journey. Very entertaining and educational. And still waiting for that album with shop music....
The long-awaited Ukulele Bass Build is here! Can you guess all the bass lines I played in this one? :D Subscribe and hit the bell to get notifications about the next episodes and check the description for the links to the accessories needed such as the pickup, strings and so on.
Its very cool, sebuah karya seni yang menunjukan ketelitian, dan penuh perhitungan, dengan talenta yang mendukung // a work of art that shows accuracy, and is full of calculations, with supporting talents
Best maker video to date (for me at least)! Really cool process to watch! I've got a lot of respect for your perseverance figuring all of the stuff out on how to make this. I was even feeling tense when you were modifying some of the pieces you worked so long on making. Love it!
I honestly couldn't imagine a situation, where you would actually need those tiny Veritas chisels... Makes me happy, that you now found one ;-) Very inspiring build - I also watched a Greenfield classical guitar vid yesterday and saw that jig... Exciting to watch the next episode!
I did use them before and also came in a video, can't remember which was...but anyway, amazingly handy when there's no other tool for the job :) thank you for those and for being a lifetime supporter!
Making musical instruments is next level wood working. Great video. Love how you use natural light. Setting up those shots before the sun sets must be hard. : )
Great job !! 👏 Keep it up !! ✊ Pretty sure that the people who disliked the video did that just to remove the similar videos from their feed, so don't worry about them and keep up with what you're doing. ✌️
outstanding Cristiana I know you've made a drum, next make a drum kit / drum set please, 2 or 3 piece is I think enough : a snare, a bass (and a tom) It'll be an interesting project, i promise ya :)
Nice work, you might want to look at using super glue and masking tape instead of double-sided tape, it's a much better bond and easier to clean up as well.
Hello Cristina, I follow you from your first video, although this is the first time I write to you. I do not remember where you made a video that you recommend "the first tools" that you should have. I wish you could do it for all those people that we want to start doing this type of projects but we do not know which tools to start with. Excellent your work with this Ukulele and everything you have done. My deep admiration for you, your work and the quality of your videos. Greetings from Mexico! (forgive my English, Spanish is my native tongue)

These videos keep flying by, so freaking good! The editing, the music, the woodwork, all incredible. Can’t wait for the next part!

Nice to see such handwork skills in the younger generation. Great video.
i'm still amaze with the way how you build your own jig and clamping tools, that's awesome
Another one bites the"as if there's any great job without"dust....love the way you work

Exactly my thoughts... I already have some plans for a Les Paul style, but am postponing it since a year or so...
UA-cam needs to add more than a simple like as a reaction, because I definitely loved this! Thank you so much for sharing this!
I'm digging that garden hose clamp! Wonderful series.
My heart was beating at 120bpms the whole time; such a delicate process!
Looks great Cris!

Love this build. Garden hose clamp was a great idea.
You're making me side-eye my ukulele, and also the pile of random hardwoods. So tempting.
Slow and methodical. I really enjoyed watching this build!

I have so much respect for you. This project must have been tons of research and long hours but it looks absoloutly beautiful! Great craftsmanship
Great series. I literally held my breath while you shaped the braces.
9:45-10:15 these 30 seconds are pure gold! ❤️
Outstanding work Cristiana!

Thanks again Michael, that's an idea on my list ;)
I didn't expect that sound from such a small instrument! Great video and project. Thanks for sharing.
It's pleasure to watch the process of making such a great instrument. Waiting for next part. So far so good. Thanks for videos. :) Awesome work.
True craftsmanship and a pleasure to watch.
I love the video overlays! The sawdust one at the end was fantastic! The ukulele bass is looking so beautiful. I can't wait for the next video!
You are incredibly inspiring. I adore watching you work! Keep up the awesome videos, they are always amazing.
Even better than the previous vid Chris. I actually cheered when I noticed your logo on the head stock at 12:20.
Outstanding job, this is a legacy piece that will provide decades of enjoyment. ☺☺
Awesome job! I did the same gasket jig for clamping the top and bottom after watching greenfield guitars video. Worked so well

your videos make me so happy! the asmr, the visual and your voice over are very calming!
Another great episode, it's coming together so nicely. You're super brave attempting a project so difficult but it appears to be paying off.
This is so inspirational and awesome. Once I get my shop in order, a ukulele will definitely go on my list!
Congratulations for your amazing videos!
I'm proud in having such a talent girl like you in my city (Porto/Portugal).
That's a real thing of beauty - can't wait for the next episode
That beginning tune seems fitting, especially with all the wood dust that was created from making this. Another wood bites the dust.

it’s been a long week but i’m finally here! this is truly an amazing build, well done!
I am speechless... absolutely amazing. I can't wait for the next episode!
Such amazing craftsmanship. Beautiful work and thanks for sharing the details.
That preview pic is on point. Also, great job on building this beast!
This is just my opinion, but the sun light you have in Porto is just so warm and very appealing.
I lllllllllllloved the hose clamp trick!
Can we hope for a viola next? I'm a fan or Portuguese music!

Perfect. Great work. Best wishes from Germany

Oi! Belo trabalho! Qual a espessura do tampo, fundo e laterais?
Making musical instruments is next level wood working. Great video. Love how you use natural light. Setting up those shots before the sun sets must be hard. : )
It is a little and a bit unpredictable as sometimes the lightened areas get blowed and only notice that when reviewing the footage. Thank you!
Great job !! 👏
Keep it up !! ✊

Coming from Les frères Poulain ! And it’s a great discovery ! I’m so happy ! 😁
I love this build so much!
Awsome! The hose clamp thing is so brilliant
I'm really glad you've already showed the finished product or this would be way too scary to watch.
Will share your video to our Guitar business client, who build guitar with cnc router machine also. Very nice video.
Impressive project. Nice video. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing precission work ! Like always!
More fantastic work, Chris. Very well done! I have a friend who makes guitars - Taran Guitars - and it's always fascinated me.
Can I make/play the Garden Hose Flute with all the scraps? So glad you put the Doors as a part of the soundtrack, haha
outstanding Cristiana

You are an amazing woman to take on building that. Wow!
Nice work, you might want to look at using super glue and masking tape instead of double-sided tape, it's a much better bond and easier to clean up as well.
