Great video... better than any other campus tour videos for USC we have seen. All very good information and views of campus short of being there. Wonderful job!
I just submitted my application for a Masters. Doing it from Nairobi Kenya and hope to get in. I aspire to do a joint degree. JD/Master of Environmental Studies.
I love this video I am a third year transfer student and I've been trying to find the right college for me. I think this college will be a perfect fit.
My daughter is going to be applying to the University this fall. Wondering if you might answer a few questions? Do you feel the campus and surrounding areas are safe? Is is a pretty friendly campus environment with things going on most of the time? Do you see it as a big party or alcohol culture on campus? Are the residence halls pretty clean and updated? How is the quality of food on campus? Any responses are appreciated
Hello! I did not know this video would reach past my orientation group, but I would love to help! I have never felt unsafe on campus, but we do have resources for campus safety available like the blue buttons (the response time to hitting a button is less than 2min on average I think) and the Rave Guardian app (you can set it to alert someone if you do not get home on time). I, personally, chose Carolina because of how nice everyone is and there is ALWAYS so much to do (even with COVID). You will never be bored. College is what you make it with the party scene - you can find it if that's your thing, but you will have plenty of friends who do not participate. I loved my residence hall and never had an issue with cleanliness or anything (they differ so I can only speak to mine, but UofSC is updating housing all the time). Campus food is really good, if only because there are a lot of options. You can eat cafeteria style every day or ChickfilA five times a week if you want. When I get tired of "campus food" I use my meal swipes at Starbucks. Hope this helped!
Jacqueline Purtell Yes it was and I have to say your video was very very helpful. We can’t visit right now for obvious reasons and your video was very well done and showed us the campus in a way that other videos did not. Great Job and good luck finishing your degree.

Omg! This is an awesome tour! I applied for transfer into UofSC Columbia as a Biological Sciences major. I hope I get in Spring '22
This was better than my actual campus tour I took a few weeks ago. Thanks so much!

Wearing a mask outdoors. Mind boggling.
