Very tidy prints, assembly video is one of the best I have watched. Great job
Have to watch it second time, first time i was just listening background music 🕺
love this design but my hangup is if the servo goes out then you might as well print another transfer everything over after you destroy everything just to get to the bad servo
Hello, I can understand that, and almost anything is possible. My recommendation is to reprint the last fuselage, cut off the one with the defective servo, and glue the new piece with new servos back on. Since the effort is not worth it for such a cheap model, in my opinion, I recommend installing good metal gear servos in the 9g class! I have had no problems with the cheap Metal Gear servos so far!
Absolutly magnificent model and for seeing one fly from another guy here, it fly extremly well. . .
Nice project! It is clear that the tailless boat immediately begins to have problems with directional stability and yaw, and you solve these problems.
Beautiful video!
Thanks for what you do!!
Bravo! That was splendid and very comprehensive. You have quenched my curiosity.👍
A total professional builder, you pay attention to detail and that is key to a good product.
Morning Thomas, did you set the motors up to yaw with the throttles left and right as well? or just the minimum power and "SBT" on a switch?
Good morning Richie, I tested trust vector, but the EDFs are too close to each other to work well! You can put basic trust on a switch if you want. I did it like this: Motor cut off - trim to +20%! If I then turn off the throttle cut, the EDFs run at 20% basic trust! Have a nice day
@@SODYs3D Cheers Thomas have a great weekend
I am building the NGAD now. I am curious: why do you use 2 ESC 20A instead of one 40A for both EDFs?
I installed two controllers because I tried differential trust and it can cause problems with one controller (synchronization) - but it is a good approach that I will try with the XFly's, thanks
I hope there will be holes and pins between parts to simplify assembly and improve assembly accuracy and portability!
Sweet Thanks
Thank you for the assembly video! What an excellent aircraft!! I'm seriously looking at building this as a family project. (Just downloaded!) An idea: A one-piece wing printed with the fences? Just a thought.
This looks great! Is there any way to open up a little and fit a twin 50mm?
Stick the twin fins on the back and you have the original F-19 but with a more squared off wing ;)
Very well done, thanks for this video. Any pointers on printing the LW-PLA parts?
Great an informative video, just wondering what is the overall weight of the print

Sorry for my ignorance but why are you removing one of the red cables from esc and which one? is this to have motor throttles under single control? Also what hinges for the alerions? Elevators in the long version? thanks
@@RichieKeane Some receivers are damaged if the power supply comes from two ESCs! For example Spectrum (some Frsky receivers can do it)! If you don't know whether the receiver can do this, just disconnect the red cable from one ESC to be on the safe side. Both ESCs can still be controlled separately (Trust Vector)!
@@RichieKeane Aileron as aileron, Vector: elevator and 25% aileron mixing - if desired Trust Vector, but the effect is small because the Trust tubes are too close to each other!
@@SODYs3D Morning Sir, should there be a tunnel for servo cable in the FUS4 for the ailerons? do you need to cut the tabs on the servo to make the fitting? thanks
@@RichieKeane Good Morning - yes to both Questions
@@SODYs3D Ok cut servos worked nicely, figured out the tunnel.. einen fabelhaften tag!!
Hi, wonderful build! Silly question but im stumped...how do you configure the transmitter so both rudders move with elevation and worh left or right independent movement. I have a Radiolink AT10 ii.

@@SODYs3D ok thank you for responding
Watt EDF motors are u using?
Fly EDF 40mm twin
This looks awesome! How much does it weight assembled?

No locator holes on any of the large parts? Why not? Think I'll wait for a version 2
It is Kyle's philosophy not to have any locator holes, and you don't need them! There is a mark at the bottom to align feet 1-3 and the rest will follow - if there is a second version, there won't be any pins there either.
what would you charge me to 3d print this plane same size as shown ????
Very beautifull.
Can you provide any information about this black collar you are using on the glue gun?
Can you also provide information about this bottle of glue with a green lid that you are using?
What is this spray can for? Can you provide information about that?
You can buy different colors of hot glue Sticks (Steinel), Industrial CA Glue Medium (German Amazon), Activator for CA Glue (German Amazon)
The Black collar is a cutted Medical needle - you can ask your local Pharmacy there can you buy! Outer Diameter is 0.9mm
@@SODYs3D Obrigado vou pesquisar
I didn't see where it says what nozzle size you recommend to print with under your print settings.
I Print with Nozzle 0.4mm, 0.24 Layer hight. You Can find nearly the setings by 3DLab or JPT.
Can I ask what software are you you using for this plane?
@@chickenychickens07 we use Shapr3D
@@SODYs3D thank!
I’m curious as to how long did it took to print all the parts?
I print so much that I hardly pay attention to it! I usually print on 3-4 printers at the same time, then I have a plane ready in 12-16 hours! I only printed the Dark NGAD on the P1S and it took about 2 days!
@@SODYs3D So the quick answer is around 2 days on a single printer.
Thanks.
Just curios what flight controller do you use?
I use only what you see in the Video (1:58-2:13)
