- Join me as I put the finishing touches on my fall kitchen dinécor for 2024! In this video, I’ll show you how to create a Roman shade-style window treatment using just a single drapery panel-perfect for adding warmth to any room. I’ll also share how I used neutral leaves and a pool noodle to make a festive garland to hang over the stove, adding a cozy autumn vibe. I continue to incorporate orange hues through copper pots and a few fall accessories to tie it all together.

When you found that other ribbon, that was so smart to add just dovetail pieces to the ends of the other ribbon rather than starting all over, and it looks great! Love the copper pots, and the mantle over the stove is just gorgeous. It’s always a treat to see that you’ve posted. Im into the light colors this year so the kitchen mantel is the show stopper so far. Very beautiful. I saw the pool noodle hack too on tik tok.
That kitchen shelf looks fantastic. I like the muted fall colors on it. I've seen that idea with the pool noodle. I took it in a different direction since I don't have a mantle. I put a curtain rod thru the noodle and hung it on the wall. Then decorated it with picks. Kind of the same idea.

I love the garland over the stove and I plan to try the noodle idea for Christmas over my fireplace, since my mantle is narrow. The dollar tree pumpkins in the glass container look upscale!!

Hi Joe, The curtains are pretty what a good idea. I was wondering if you ever thought about using fire king lusterware for a table scape for fall Thanksgiving.I think it would be beautiful, especially with your center pieces you make , it would be stunning just an idea! take care
I'm not familiar with that? I have to Google it
May I suggest that you can use a strip of cardboard and “monster” clips to make the folds look more uniform.
Might work for you if you’re decorating alone.
Just a suggestion though. And remove the cardboard afterwards when you get the hang of them just right. ( I don’t usually comment on things, but you asked for it! 😊)

Joe the stove manual is brilliant. Do you have any idea how many picks you used? I want to do this for Christmas over my fireplace. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
Hmmm how many? Well I bought about 16 picks from the Dollar Tree, then cut them up into individual stems.but I'm m not 100 percent sure, but I would think 16 to 20 would fill it up depending on size. If it's not full enough you can always..we'll not always if they run out..get more. Does that help you?

Joe I don’t know why people are so mean if they don’t have nothing nice to say, just don’t say it. For someone to come up and say those curtains are outdated is your taste is your like and that’s it you don’t have to be always critical.. question Joe how long are you keeping your fall decorations up and when is the starting date of your Christmas decoration 101? Lovely! Question: how do you keep the pool noodle arrangement from falling off the mantle after you added the picks and pumpkins? I understand you split it. Is it such a tight fit to the mantle to hold that weight of the decor or did you have to secure it otherwise? Sorry if this is confusing, I really like the look. Thanks for sharing! It's a really tight fit. ...but I don't know how much weight it could hold??? This is the first time I've worked with it..but I'll eventually find out!
