Love is far from foolish, it is a perfect and powerful thing. But is is not pure, not at all. It is either one's guiding light, or waiting shadow to push them to their demise. Some creatures have perfected the latter.
Ending three: Victory. You have somehow overcome Chrysalis while sparing your brother. Events now unfold much like they do in the show. Secret Ending: A Twisted Light. Celestia is transformed at 5:00, but the battle with Chrysalis can go till 5:30. Assuming Shining is still there to protect you from the initial apocalypse, what events will transpire now? Results in a alternate and MUCH more difficult story line.
The piano at the start fits and sets a great pace, especially as you have it chime in and set the nature of it all. As each fades in and out, for their part, you create that viable variable harmony that really works for someone of such a nature in flux. The base never fades, which is a nice touch, just is added upon, or shifted out. A very lovely work, that I hope you can work upon other items as your muse adds in more inspiration for such wonderful works.
I love the ostinatos in the low range. Perhaps not ostinatos in the real sense, but still very effective. Very creepy and...sneaky? Not sure if that's the word, but I feel like I'm on a high-stakes stealth attack when they come in.
Since Discord's been befriended, here's hoping Chrysalis could be one day, however unlikely. It'd be epic to see the primary antagonists of the first few seasons all unite with the Mane Six on the battlefeild: Luna in Nightmare Moon form striking down foes with lightning and darkness, Discord just having a ball as a loose cannon, causing as much controlled mayhem as he can, and Chrysalis swarming the field with her minions. To me, that'd make an epic closing episode/battle for the series eventually.
I don't really see that happening (despite how awesome it may be in concept). But it would be interesting to see Chryssy come back. After all, she's more intact that Somber, and it's implied that Somber may come back. Although, she did get a nice bone throw in the comic series--but despite them being "canon" I don't personally count them in my canon of the show.
TaleshicMatera Yes. As I saw, Sombre was the most shallow villain in the series, just being a stereotypical power-hungry king. Chrysalis, on the other hand, was much more three dimensional. In "This Day Aria", there are quite a few unexplained hints at her past, which would be nice to clear up. Plus, she wasn't really defeated, she was just blown away to who knows where. And as a comment on my first post, it'd probably be a brief, fragile truce...one only made when both parties have something to lose. Perhaps Chrysalis' kingdom was being invaded and the others came to help.
CrimsonEbonyTears Well sombra was VERY well prepared in the series though, the dark magic entrance to the loooong stairs to the trapped crystal heart well out of any crystal pony's reach, and those traps were laid a thousand years in advance, I think he could be a pretty damned good villain if actually given characterisation.
You only have just over 5 minutes to win the battle. In addition to being a formidable foe on her own, Chrysalis is both bolstered and shielded by Shining Armor. So empowered, you will be very hard pressed to win in time. You can remove these buffs, but are you willing to fell your own brother? Needless to say, the outcome of this battle has a large impact on future events.
Whenever I listen to this, I think of a battle with Chrysalis where the field just gets darker and darker the longer you take, so towards the end you're just fighting in pitch-darkness. Spooky.
amazing! truly amazing! it definitely sets the mood for, a timed battle (i'm a game geek XP) I would love to see this in an epic MLP RPG or something :3 i dunno, just my thoughts. :3
Eh.... If he comes back in another episode, I probably will do a theme for him, but... Well, no offense to the writers, but the role King Sombra played...I just don't feel that it's deserving of a theme. I mean, he was a lurking threat, but he remained in gak form 90% of his screentime and had very little dialogue. Basically, I just don't feel inspired by him =/
It's a great anime with a great intro. What's there not to be inspired by? It was a small nod that I didn't think many would catch; I'm glad to see I was wrong.
Dat picture. The theme feels a bit less 'battle' and more 'timed challenge', which is kind of supported by the name. It gives a sort of forlorn and creepy feeling that suits her pretty well.
Trapped in a pod filled with transparent, green goo, Celestia slowly transforms into a being similar to the one that imposes upon her thrown, known as Chrysalis. Your brother, Shining Armor, stands by the monstrous alicorn's side. He is under her control, his every action controled by her. You must defeat Chrysalis before Celestia's transformation is complete, or all is lost.
Very very nice, I love the feel it's spot on. One problem I have is it feels too busy, everything seems to be going off at once and it's tricky to define certain instruments over the "Rabble" This is only a little bit of criticism from a nobody though just stating my opinion
Ending one: Failure. You did not defeat Chrysalis in time. If you were not slain already, you surely will be now that the Twisted Sun has joined the fray. Game Over. Ending two: A Steep price. Chrysalis has fallen, but you were forced to kill Shining in the process. This has a negative impact on many future events, and denies you both Shining and Cadence as playable characters.
I dunno, I just....don't really wanna make one for him. I even sat down and tried, but I just couldn't come up with anything for him. Even thinking of non-canon scenarios, I just didn't feel inspired to make anything worthwhile, so I ditched it. I haven't really felt like picking it back up, either, so I dunno when or if I'll get around to trying again.
I am really liking the picture covers you use for your music! The song&pic seem to fit very well. May I request a link to be posted for these in future songs?
I just realized this theme will probably go very well with one of the later editions of the MLP comics when they finally get to the hive and the commit is about to arrive.
hi there i would like to ask you a permission to nigthcore a song of yours this time being this one, if you are not ok with me uploading it publicly i would ask to atleast make it for my own enjoyment
Wait, nvm. I think I've figured it out. When you exported it as a wav you or the program accidentally named it *.wav instead of *.ogg. So it was an ogg but Windows thought it was a .wav. You can fix it by changing the extension to .ogg. Also did you encode this around 320 kbps ogg?
I know Radiarc is like a Brony Yoko Shimomura. I love Kingdom Hearts and Radiarc evokes that with a MLP (I'm not a Brony myself but really like some of the fandom's music) theme. Radiarc's music is simply amazing and I'm yet to hear a bad song from this channel. Also "Dance Water Dance!"
Ah, well at that bitrate it is definitely transparent, so ignore my asking for a wav copy. Also then nevermind my comment about Windows then, I also run that distro of Linux. I'm dual booted. Sorry for spamming up your comments.

Some creatures have perfected the latter.
Love can turn Jedi to Sith.
Love can turn Sith to Jedi.
It's a two edged sword.
By nature, love cannot be black or white, or both. It has its own colors, and they paint the world.
Nice version of Lilium! Such music is great for Equestria at War

Sure; look in the description.
I don't know why I didn't include a name for the artist in the first place...
I don't normally comment on... well anything really. But all of this great music deserves a commendation. :)
we are honored by your comment oh great derp face
All hail the Derp face!

Dude... this is soo incredibly amazing!! it sound like something from kingdom heart.
Congrats, huge congrats on getting to EQD again! This is where the fun begins.

+Darca1n Finally you spelled his name right XD (realizes i'm 2 years late) oh
* After seeing the end of season 6 *
Yeah about that......

Really good track. The mood is great and I like the instrument you put in. I like it
It sounds like it belongs in kingdom hearts, Well done dude!

Found my Omsk reunification theme
Very reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts' soundtrack. Well done.
Eh....

This is excellent. Sounds very Kingdom Hearts-ish, and very tense.
If I were to befriend queen chrysalis would the love of friendship give them the energy they need to live?
Ending one: Failure. You did not defeat Chrysalis in time. If you were not slain already, you surely will be now that the Twisted Sun has joined the fray. Game Over.

When listening to this, I envisioned a fight like that motorcycle level in Final Fantasy VII.
I dunno, I just....don't really wanna make one for him.

Old but gold
where does he get all these epic pictures?
reminds me a bit of the Hulk soundtrack and I just love it
I used LMMS to arrange all of this; I really wish I could've actually recorded this, but I lack the proper instruments and knowledge.
Thanks! I'll be sure to subscribe ya then. Your stuff is quite breathtaking.
Would it be possible to get an actual .wav copy?
I am really liking the picture covers you use for your music! The song&pic seem to fit very well. May I request a link to be posted for these in future songs?
Nice job!
I just realized this theme will probably go very well with one of the later editions of the MLP comics when they finally get to the hive and the commit is about to arrive.
Very nice! The violin parts toward the beginning sound very close to the song Lilium from Elfen Lied. Did you get some inspiration from that song?
I exported in ogg but it came out as a wav.
hi there i would like to ask you a permission to nigthcore a song of yours this time being this one, if you are not ok with me uploading it publicly i would ask to atleast make it for my own enjoyment
remindes me of a movie soundtrack
Some Kingdom Hearts music right here!
quick question: what program do you use for your composing? I have repeatedly tried to start up music, but everything I've use seemed clumsy so far...
Wait, nvm. I think I've figured it out. When you exported it as a wav you or the program accidentally named it *.wav instead of *.ogg. So it was an ogg but Windows thought it was a .wav. You can fix it by changing the extension to .ogg. Also did you encode this around 320 kbps ogg?
He uses LMMS (Linux Multimedia Studio).
Damn.
This gives me flashbacks of Demyx from Kingdom Hearts II.
The clones... THE CLONES...

Also "Dance Water Dance!"
tbarbdrills *triggered*
But yeah, I really like KH's music, and Shimomura is at least somewhat of a god. Radiarc is pretty close to both :P
HAAAHAHAHA!
I know your pain.
.wav / ogg ? What does that mean? Is it a wav or ogg?
320kbps.
Also, I'm running Linux, Ubuntu 12.04.
Ah, well at that bitrate it is definitely transparent, so ignore my asking for a wav copy. Also then nevermind my comment about Windows then, I also run that distro of Linux. I'm dual booted. Sorry for spamming up your comments.
Haha, same here
this reminds me slightly of the Stranger Things intro song
part of it reminds me of the theme of Elfen Lied. but somehow... creepier.
Sounds like portal's music
Perhaps once I write my fan-fiction, you'll feel differently about that. ;)
As the Vampire King, this could also work as a boss battle theme for me.
