Looks great, mine have died back once completely to the root and have grown back but they are not in a very sheltered spot. They are bushes now but did not flower even though the this past winter was mild. Only had fruit when I kept it in a pot
They are hardy to drought, heat, and freezing cold. Last year, we had 2 degree and stayed below 10 degree for 10 days straight and my pineapple guava didn't died. They lost some leaves, but came back as frost over.
I'm in VA too! What part are you in? I have Feijoa, Loquat, Honeyberry, Blueberries, and Hardy Kiwi. I would love to get more tropicals like you have growing.
I am in Springfield, VA. Are your Feijoa and Loquat in ground? I also have some 14 year old Hardy Kiwi, even though they fruited for me every year, I have not get to eat a single rip fruit?
They both look very healthy Jimmy! It's great to see they survive your winters there 👍
Very nice! Great job 👏🏼
Great hobby.
At least you got a few fruits, thats better than none 👍
That's so cool! Hopefully mine will bloom next year. I have two of them but one is older and one is a seedling
