Thanks for the video! How easy is it to take a tile or two out of the middle if you need to? Also, have you cleaned or cleaned underneath yet? Does it work well with snow, etc ?
So you could use some screwdrivers to pry them out if need be. I just cleaned them recently and they came out good. I used a rinsless wash and a microfibre mop to clean them. No issues with snow as they flow water and slush easily. You can also shop vac them to clean underneath.
Any issues after having them for a few months? Does it feel like you are walking on plastic? Does it sound like you are walking on plastic? Any shifting? Looking to do the same with my garage. Any feedback would be appreciated.
It’s been great over the winter and channelling the snow underneath. It feels like a hard rubber walking on it but to kneel on it’s hard and i’d suggest kneeling onto a soft pad for long periods. I’ll make a video with an update soon.
Because the holes are close, it’s quite smooth rolling anything on it such as: stool, floor jack, tool box ext. so far my floor jack, jackstands or quickjacks don’t seem to have caused any damage.
How do they handle if there is an incline in the garage floor. My drain is in the middle of the garage, so was wondering how it would handle that. Also, how did it handle the winter (granted not much snow this year). Do the gravel fall through or stay on top? Been thinking about this for a while,
I just posted an 8 month video, go check it out! My floor is quite graded and works just fine. Most small debris goes through and can be vacuumed. Some of the larger debris off the cars stays in the holes.
@@Getcoatedcanada Just installed it. The solid black. If you get this, like anything else, keep in mind that there will be around a 10% waste/extra for edges etc. I managed to use leftover cuts to finish the edges as best as I could. At the end of the day, not seen as the car or wood will be piled there. I had some challenges making them fit at points. the corners are not perfectly flush. But I am happy. I ordered 10 boxes (double garage) on a Tuesday and it was at my house on that Friday. These are perfect for me. I have a drain in the middle of the garage. So slopes down. As these are rubber, they are flexible, and contoured with the garage floor. I used my shop vac on it when I finished, and it was so easy and smooth. Black shoes dirt. :) One last comment. There is an odour that is with all new plastic/rubber items. So keep that in mind. We are leaving our garage door a bit open to air it out. When we closed it fully the first night, we could smell it in the basement the next morning. I used a jig saw to cut the pieces.
Great video thanks for sharing. Do they make a garage tile edge? In other words the edge between the garage door in the driveway or does it not need it? Thank you.
I don’t think they make one, but you could potentially find a universal one to fit. It would finish off perfectly the garage door edge out into the driveway if you could find a tile edge

When you roll a stool, is it bumpy or smooth? Can it handle jack stands and floor jacks or will it get damaged?

What about dirt, scuffs, wear and tear? Does that show through?

@@ih2898I’m glad they worked out for you!
how well does mechanics creeper roll on this floor
Really well actually! It’s smooth because the holes are small in the flooring
What if you spill something on it though? Wouldnt it just seep through the patterns holes, and be un-cleanable?
Nope, you can pull them up if need be or spray some soap or apc down, then power wash through them.

Good, I am looking for garage tiles as well, thanks for your information.
It’s a great floor for the price!
how many boxes did you get?
This is one full box which covered about 200 sq ft
seems like they dont carry it anymore :(
I hope they bring them back, they are awesome!
They are on the Canadian website. They're in my cart right now.
@@gibber1944 That’s great news! Thanks
@@gibber1944 yea i see its back in stock :)
Good luck cleaning that.... Nobody wants a high maintenance garage floor.
What would be your solution to a low maintenance floor? This floor is really not high maintenance at all
Go with the snap-lock or coverdeck. They are USA made.
These Chinese knockoffs suck.
Perforated flooring? No thanks! Terrible idea for most
For car washing? It’s the only way to go :)
