Thank you , what about buying a R44 R2 , 2009 was rebuilt 2016 , but 2021 engine has 1900 , now for sale with 1600 hours , how to work that one out , merry Christmas
Yes, would appreciate if you could do both the R22 Beta II and the Beta which has some components that are specified for longer than 2200hr and don't have a calendar timeout. Thanks.
My understanding of helicopter insurance is any claim you have pays out the amount of damage up to the agreed coverage amount less your deductible. Example 300k helicopter with a 250k agreed hull value policy limit and a 25k deductible. 100k damage will pay you 75k after the deductible. I could be wrong but thats my understanding.
I'm curious what your opinion would be on a used but field overhauled R44 as it relates to 1st run machines? I'm looking at an 03 Raven 1 with 5400 TT and about 1100 and ten years calendar life remaining . Any idea of value? Thanks for your videos! Ricky
That was great info! I have a 2007 Ravin 1-could you do y that one next? I assume MR/TR time and hours come into play in determining value Thanks Mario
What about low usage aircraft that choose to perform a 12-year inspection and blades replacement , not full overhaul? Legally, only a small list of things that MUST be replaced at 12 years.
This guy is awesome! I’ve called and asked questions before and he’s a very friendly fellow aviator. Love the videos.
Glad you like them!
Very well explained, I like how you price it out per hour of flight. Most people don't take the maintenance in account for devaluation over time.
Would be great to hear the calculations on the R22 as well

Raven 1! Raven 1! Doesn't perform quite as well as the Raven 2, but at least I can start it up nine times out of ten.
