Cecely Todacheenie First Dine Female Pro Skateboarder

- Gallup, New Mexico is known for it's rich cultural history and destination for famous celebrities but there is a sub culture of a skate scene throughout the town. The scene grew large enough for the City of Gallup to invest in the youth's passion and build them a skate park. A spokesperson who advocated for the skate park goes by the name Cecely Todacheenie.
A local Dine female skateboarder who's thirst for skating made a name for herself as the voice for skating in Gallup and became the first Dine female sponsored pro skateboarder.
Join us as we follow Cecely's journey from growing up on the Rez, owning a skate shop and traveling across the country to compete in professional skateboard competitions.

I use to skate by the old Zuni road 1st skate park in Gallup with my Chad Muska board black panther bearing independent trucks! That’s awesome girl keep it up get more sponsors and make our Dinè nation proud!

My beautiful New Mexico peps representin! Awesome to see her shredding it up! I miss my old days of skating but sadly I'm too old and broken up to do it now. But I did skate pro awhile. Skated competition with Jeff Phillips a couple years before he passed away.
