It boggles my mind that you guys haven't reached more subscribers. These videos are well put together, polished and full of entertaining content. I look forward to see what shenanigans yall are up to next.
Randall thank you so much for that comment!! We put so much time and effort into these videos I'm stoked you can tell and appreciate all of it 🙏🏻🙏🏻 We will keep them coming and soon enough we will have a good looking subscriber count 😂😂
You guys deserve at least 500k subs by now. Love the content. Editing is great, got storylines, and you’re actually fabbing good stuff. Only way is up for you fellas.
Wow, watching your channel I never realized the 130k subs I saw was actually 13k subs. Ooooh this channel is DOPE AF! Give it time you fellas will have a million!
My issues with LS engines always seems to be fuel related as well. In my experience those corvette regulators everyone uses for LS swaps don't handle high flow pumps well. Everyone drops the Walbro 455 pump in their tank but those pumps have way too much flow for the cheap corvette regulator and causes weird pressure fluctuations like you saw on your gauge because so much fuel gets returned. This channel is great, keep it going.
Internet search: A faulty door switch (that turns the dome light on and off) frequently causes a parasitic power drain. Other causes include a trunk/tailgate release switch that is always on, a headlight switch stuck in the “on” position, aftermarket accessories such as an alarm system or CD changer, damaged wiring harnesses, and faulty relays. From experience, when installing generic / inexpensive inline fuel pumps: Most inline high-pressure fuel pumps are designed to PUSH fuel, not DRAW fuel. So, if your inline fuel-pump is mounted in a location where the fuel tank outlet is higher than your fuel pump's inlet, then you're basically starving it for fuel. The fuel tank outlet line needs to 'gravity-feed' fuel into the fuel pump. Just a thought: Basic rule-of-thumb dictates that for every 1 gram of fuel introduced into the engine, you also require 14.7 grams of air. If your fuel system's throttle body butterfly valve is suddenly snapped shut (when suddenly letting off the accelerator pedal from WOT), then it's similar to suddenly placing your hand over the entire opening of the throttle body opening. In simpler terms, you're suddenly choking the engine of the air it requires for the amount of time it takes to idle back down. Check to see if the throttle body is clean and also that it's adjusted to spec's, as far as being cracked open a little with the idle stop screw adjustment. - I've encountered this same problem on everything from an old-school naturally-apsirated engine, to the current LPG electronically-controlled forklifts we operate at work. I really hope these thoughts may help you cure your fuel starvation problems - and I really enjoyed this content you shared with us, as it made a commonly frustrating AF scenario a lot less aggravating, by watching you solve issues in a humorous manner. Between your channel and Trail Mater, they are (by far) my favorite 'off-road' content to watch. - In your verbiage: Peck Brothers Off-Road is 'The Dean' ! Ha! 👊👊👊👊👊
It’s pretty easy to swap to an in tank pump, especially with that cell. You can also order those vette style filters with AN fittings already on them, and get rid of the adapters.
If you use the Corvette regulators you have to use the Wix 33737. Just went through that on another that had a cheapo brand from you know who. Wix to the rescue! 60psi all day now! Great video guys and give that girl a prize! 😂
I head GM stopped sponsoring the manufacturing of the part and since then they've been pretty hard pressed to find good ones! Good to know WIX is the best!
For the power draw, I bet you it has the typical “JK” after market radio I noticed in the video it has installed. There is other videos on this problem. The problem is, and you can trace the draw, the computer will shut down, put to sleep a factory radio, the computer can not put a after market radio to sleep. It will keep drawing power. I have the same problem in my 2008 JKU with a after market radio. If you are going to keep the after market radio, start pulling the fuse for the radio to stop the power draw.
Super interesting, is your problem intermittent?? It doesn't do it every single time is like for no rhyme or reason it will just die in 2 days get charged back us and last 3 weeks 😂😂😂
@@PeckBrothers actually yes. Mine does do that. It might last a couple weeks, it might be dead in a few days. It’s weird. But you also have other things going on also in that Jeep with the LS motor swap like a GM computer, so I’m sure your dads setup is a lot more complicated to figure out where it’s coming from then mine.
Hey have you guys ever had to deal with torque management with a factory gm computer? I’ve got a 5.3 ls jeep that’s a dog off the line. But if you drop a head going 20 it goes absolutely bonkers. I’m getting a custom tune next month. I’m hoping that’s my problem and not a stall related issue.
Guys ya gotta start using “Odyssey” batteries , made here in USA , AND THEY ARE AWESOME ! Have them in both my jeeps the extreme series model . They are pricey just under $400 bucks but my opinion well worth it 👍
So much wastet time. I would have been a little bit pissed 😅 but on the other hand, i would have checked the sparkplug a little bit earlyer. But it's easy to say from the distance 😂 (Sorry for my english. I'm from germany) But guys, I love your Videos 👌🏻
What I don't understand is that if that's cheap has a miss why would you not first check the timing and the spark plugs to find out why it has one cylinder that's not firing. It has nothing to do with fuel pressure because that wouldn't cause a miss it might cause it to run sluggishly or possibly have problems starting. The only thing that causes a miss or rough idle has to do with the electronics and the electrical system which means a spark plug or the coil or even a bad plug wire.
Your diagram is incorrect for the Vette reg/filter. The 5/16" center isn't the feed, it's the return. The 3/8" outer is the feed. Not sure if you're actually plumbed that way on the Jeeps and it's just the diagram that's wrong. Cut one open. Enjoying the series!
If you can't tell the difference between a fuel problem, and a misfire from the sparkplug wire being taken off yous 3 might be in the wrong business lol
Y’all’s sister definitely got the the better looks between y’all!😆😆😆😆
Haha yes she does 😂😂 And she's quite a bit smarter too lol
So by that comment you left you're saying she got the BRAINS AND THE BEAUTY 😂@@PeckBrothers

Dang man thank you so much!! We work so hard on these videos and to know that people are out there thinking that just makes it all worth it!! 🔥🔥
Great Video! Your sister could easily steal the show though! Great face Caleb on your pressure checking!!! Lol
😂😂😂😂😂 Hopefully we got someone to believe I was actually pushing 20 PSI haha and yes or sister its far more likable than all of us 😂😂

Caleb looked like he was about to pop an eyeball when doing the pressure gauge thing 😂
What wiring harness you guys running on the black jeep. 'Dads jeep'
New record for Dean references
Yeah that video has a ton of them 😂😂😂

Y’all boys need to look into the idle air control on your dads Jeep. Idle air control is what brings it back down to idle.
Its a DBW throttle so the idle air control is built into the system, unless you are talking about the tuning lol which is a long way over our heads 😂😂
Yeah their is a couple values in the tuning that is essentially idle air control. I’m a lil old school so I just call it idle air control.
When is the last time yall went wheeling? It's been a minute.
Its been WAY too long 😂😂😂
Corvet fuel filter and regulator are built together if you get a non Corvette they arent

Ask sister kallie shelped get you 3 boys real good with your dads help
😂😂😂 Yes she did
Y’all try cleaning the injectors? Very common thing.
They are brand new injectors from Fuel Injector connection 😂😂 I hope they are roached already lol
If you can't tell the difference between a fuel problem, and a misfire from the sparkplug wire being taken off yous 3 might be in the wrong business lol
“It’s just a prank guys”
The prank:
Worked out great for dad, he got a bunch of new parts lol
That’s what I was thinkin’ 😂
Katie is beautiful
Yes she is! Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Never use parts geek and the hell with Amazon

I thought the same thing !
lol she's hears that all the time 😂😂😂
