    A topic not addressed in this video is the influence of our moon on earth's core. It is claimed that the circular movement of the moon around the earth tends to stretch and bend the core and this generates heat (almost like a steel paper clip that gets hot when bending continously) which help to keep the core in a molten state. Venus and Mars has no significant moon(s) and that could help to explain that both have solid and cold cores, hence no magnetic field.

      The Earth already has dozens of cracks in it! But my fellow geologists call them "faults."
      Besides, any attempt to make said crack would result in a massive tectonic shift, and the amorphous lithosphere would fill it in, obscuring the view of the core. -_-

      @@lvl10cooking THE ULTIMATE (AND CLEAR) MATHEMATICAL UNIFICATION (AND PROOF) REGARDING PHYSICS/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE IS NOW DEMONSTRATED, AS E=MC2 IS F=MA: TIME DILATION ultimately proves (ON BALANCE) that E=mc2 IS F=ma, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. (Importantly, balance and completeness go hand in hand.) The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. NOW, A PHOTON may be placed at the center of WHAT IS THE SUN (as A POINT, of course); AS the reduction of SPACE is offset by (or BALANCED with) the speed of light (c); AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Indeed, ultimately and truly, TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE; AS E=MC2 IS F=MA; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Very importantly, outer "space" involves full inertia; AND it is fully invisible AND black. GREAT. Accordingly, INSTANTANEITY is thus FUNDAMENTAL to what is the FULL and proper UNDERSTANDING of physics/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE; AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. It ALL CLEARLY makes perfect sense. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. E=mc2 IS F=ma. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. E=MC2 IS F=MA. GREAT !!! Gravity AND ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy are linked AND BALANCED opposites, AS E=mc2 is F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Consider THE MAN who is standing on what is THE EARTH/GROUND. Touch AND feeling BLEND, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Gravity/acceleration involves BALANCED inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Accordingly, the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches it's revolution. Great. MOREOVER, a given PLANET (including what is THE EARTH) then sweeps out equal areas in equal times consistent WITH/AS F=ma, E=mc2, AND what is perpetual motion; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. INSTANTANEITY is thus FUNDAMENTAL to what is the FULL and proper UNDERSTANDING of physics/physical experience, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. This NECESSARILY represents, INVOLVES, AND DESCRIBES what is possible/potential AND actual IN BALANCE. Stellar clustering ALSO proves ON BALANCE that E=mc2 IS F=ma, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. Objects (including WHAT IS the falling MAN) fall at the SAME RATE (neglecting air resistance, of course), as E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. "Mass"/energy is gravity. ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. E=mc2 IS F=ma. THE DOME of a PERSON'S EYE is ALSO VISIBLE. (Notice the flat AND black space of what is THE EYE.) The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. The sky is blue, AND the Earth is blue. THE EARTH/ground AND THE SUN are E=mc2 AND F=ma IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS UNIVERSALLY PROVEN TO BE GRAVITY in what is a mathematically unified fashion. E=mc2 IS F=ma. The middle distance in/of/AS SPACE AND the full distance in/of/AS SPACE are NECESSARILY linked AND balanced. MAGNIFICENT !!!!!!!!!! INSTANTANEITY IS thus FUNDAMENTAL to what is the FULL and proper UNDERSTANDING of physics/physical experience, AS E=mc2 IS F=ma; AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. Gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. It is ALL CLEARLY proven. Again, the stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. GREAT. Energy has/involves GRAVITY, AND ENERGY has/involves inertia/INERTIAL RESISTANCE. 5:55 found a mistake. Falling towards the core would only take around 42 min not 32 hours. Regarding the core it would make sense to drill on the moon since its magnetic field was lost some billion years ago and its easier to drill to the core since its diameter is much smaller.

      Because direct observations of earthquakes, volcanic events and plate tectonics all points to the obvious conclusion that there is something moving under the planets crust. This has also been observed on other planets in the solar system and some moons such as Io....but I suppose this is all fake too.
      Earthquakes generate a lot of seismic waves in the form of P waves and S waves. P waves can penetrate anything, solid, liquid or gas. As as result P waves can be detected on the opposite side of the planet to where the earthquake originated. S waves can only travel though a solid, as a result S waves never get detected on the opposite side of an Earthquake, they can only be detected up to 103 degrees from the point of the quake. What does this mean?, it means there has to be a liquid sphere inside our planet, there has to be.
      Upon interacting with liquid, S waves become P waves. This is why we also know the inner core is solid as S waves have been briefly detected their before they become P waves again.
      Using this method, I.e detecting S waves, we can accurately calculate that this liquid sphere inside the Earth is approximately 2,900 km below the surface at sea level.

    So high pressure at the center (6.3 million g) creates high temperature at the center. But Newton's shell theory (g1/g2=r2^2/r1^2) where r1 is the radius of the earth and r2 any intermediate point, says g2=0 at the center since r2=0. Since pressure=mgh, so there is no pressure. Could you kindly explain the controversy, please.

    • @李明宇-w4x
      @李明宇-w4x 10 років тому +3

      Good question. Yes, at the very center, gravity itself is 0, and the pressure by gravity itself is mg and therefore also 0. At the same time, the crust of the earth does not fall off: It is supported by the mantle underneath. By the 3rd law of Newton, the mantle feels an extra pressure from the crust downwards, in addition to its own gravity. The same applies to the core, which feels the pressure from the mantle plus the crust. This pressure accumulates layers and layers down, finally reaches its maximum at the center.

      I suppose, if one draws nice vectors of the forces pressing down to the center, they would cancel out each other, besides no real world object is 0 in size, so there is no real case in which to apply r=0..

    • @naimulhaq9626
      @naimulhaq9626 10 років тому +2

      李明宇
      The problem is mass is considered to be concentrated at the center not as shells or layers upon layers, If the shell theory had considered mass not concentrated at the center, but as layer upon layer, then the result would be millions of g, but because shell theory assumes no mass except at the center, g becomes zero.

    • @李明宇-w4x
      @李明宇-w4x 10 років тому +2

      SwineNahNah Yeah, that's right. It can also be seen from symmetry: the force pressing to the center cannot have a preferred direction, therefore must be 0.

    • @李明宇-w4x
      @李明宇-w4x 10 років тому +2

      Naimul Haq en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shell_theorem the shell theorem says that a spherically symmetric sphere or a point of mass are equivalent when calculating the gravity it gives to something *outside* the sphere. It does not "assume no mass except at the center" unconditionally. it's merely a way to simplify calculation and reasoning and does not alter the reality of the massive spherical earth.

      @ray jay and where does it say that...

    • @craigcrawford6595
      @craigcrawford6595 4 роки тому +4

      @ray jay That'd hardly logical or common sense but you know that "descended first" means physical death and burial? Christ was buried in a tomb. To be helled means to be in the ground. So when the Apostle's Creed says that Christ descended into hell, it means to be covered with dirt, death, a funeral, to be buried. That is why during King James' time people would "hell their potatoes." The center of the earth thus is not hell in the sense that we use the word, at all. Especially when the Bible says that God is going to destroy the entire planet, universe and the heavens in a great conflagration (can't recall if it is 1st or 2nd Peter at the moment). Also, the Bible, in Revelation, says that Hades will be thrown into the lake of fire. We today equate hell with the lake of fire, this is not a correct correlation...

    • @craigcrawford6595
      @craigcrawford6595 4 роки тому +2

      @ray jay 2 Peter 3:10 The day of the Lord will come as a robber comes. The heavens will pass away with a loud noise. The sun and moon and stars will burn up. The earth and all that is in it will be burned up.
      11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, you should think about the kind of life you are living. It should be holy and God-like. 12 You should look for the day of God to come. You should do what you can to make it come soon. At that time the heavens will be destroyed by fire. And the sun and moon and stars will melt away with much heat.
      Now, reconcile what Peter teaches with what you claim the Scripture says. It is evident what Peter is saying...
      As for hell, actually most don't even believe in a hell let alone Satan however, it is not up to me what the interpretation is anymore than it is up to you. Not everything is so ambiguous as you claim either. It is quite clear that hell is not the center of the earth and you said "hell/hades" when Hades will be thrown into the lake of fire, now, how is that supposed to happen when you claim the earth will not be destroyed as Peter plainly teaches?

    • @craigcrawford6595
      @craigcrawford6595 4 роки тому +2

      @ray jay Champ, for there to be "a new heaven and a new earth" as promised in Revelation 21, the old heaven and the old earth must be destroyed, plain and simple. Do you think when Peter said that it will all be destroyed by fire that he was merely talking about human life? You understand that sin still taints the earth and all life to this day, after Noah, yet, after this sin will no longer taint anything, you know why? Because everything tainted with sin will be utterly destroyed and made new.
      No reply about hell?

    • @craigcrawford6595

    Well,on a Shamanic Journey,a good while back, I traveled to the center of the earth. That many years ago, I didn't even have a good concept of what was at the core. It could have been a ball barron for all I knew. A hard iron ball. But when I got there I see what looks like a mini sun. In my surprise I say something about it and was told"as above, so below"& I thought,of course Renee,duh! Then I saw these fairly sheer looking purple beings tending to it, and asked what they were doing. They said they were working on keeping it spinning right,that it was trying to slow down and that wasn't good. All of this was new to me. Not just the core, but the possibility of it slowing down and even the purple beings there have now been confirmed from different sources, that I did not seek after. Another spot on. From there the core provided for inner earth, BTW.

      "The Core" maybe more Science Reality than Science Fiction, less the Unobtainium.
      For example, if the outer core stopped spinning, the Earth will lose its magnetic field and life will cease to exist due to frequent exposure to solar winds and radiation.
      As for the Crystal Cocoons and Crystal Grand Canyons, its also possible as "Slab Graveyards" slide down towards the core, and exposing itself to tremendous pressures, creating favourable conditions for it.
      As for unobtainium, its actually not a metal or element, but a heat and pressure resistant Titanium based compound in the movie.

    See this is why people get so misinformed with videos like this. Take 5:53 for example: a free fall to Earth by a skydiver through a hole to the center would be 32 hours only if he was in full atmospheric wind resistance the whole way, yet the video shows this guy tumbling and doing nose dives, which drastically increase the skydiver's speed. Basically he'd have to be in 'bellyflop' position the entire way with atmospheric pressure remaining constant. IRL, if something like a 'gravity elevator' was used in such a way, the speeds produced would be MUCH MUCH faster. More like 21 minutes to the center, not 32 freaking hours.
    People that watch these pseudo-science vids should very carefully scrutinize them, because these corps that make them are only interested in ratings and your wow affect to serve them, and not actual data and practical application.

    • @johngoldsmith8817
      @johngoldsmith8817 10 років тому +1

      I'm assuming you're getting the 21 minute figure from the fact that the acceleration of gravity increases the closer you get to the center of the Earth. I can't remember doing the calculation using the equation F = (G*M1*M2) / D^2, but that's okay. That's not what this video is about. Your comment, like almost everyone else's comment, is off-topic. There are even theological arguments tangled up in this mess of tangential discussions. I know - that's the norm for the internet. But, the skydiver is a trivial part of the documentary and was only added to give us an idea of just how deep the Earth's core is. I found that the two most important pieces of information in this video were the possibility of another magnetic flip in our lifetime, and that one day the Earth's magnetic field will collapse, leaving us and our atmosphere completely unprotected. I don't know what can possibly be done about the big flip since we don't have even a good approximation of when it will occur. However, in the case of the dying dynamo, we'll probably just need to build underground dwellings complete with machines that generate and maintain man-made atmospheres. Let's hope that can be done and in time to save humanity.

Being surrounded by heat at 200 degrees is no better than being surrounded by heat at 20 degrees. You need a cold place for it to go to, and that will be hard to come by buried inide the Earth.

      @mike force You're saying video games are imaginary? :D Where first off, actually each video game has a deterministic, physical layout consisting of millions of ones and zeros (we don't know that about thoughts) and secondy, you don't have to IMAGINE anything (as opposed to when reading a book), because it is physically drawn onto a screen? The ignorance (especially towards programmers who spend literal millions of working hours on a game as a whole) is strong with this one... Keep watching news form the early 2000's

    Could the magnetic flip be caused from the solid inner core moving around through the liquid core (like a penny would float around in a hole the size of a nickel), being caused by fluctuations between the magnetic poles?

    • @videocruzer

      Our closest Star called the Sun flips its pulls every 11 years.
      There are Ancient documents that show how the process of our Sun Drivers the Earths Core. The Ancients used Serpents and Dragons to represent the Magnetic Electrical Frequencies that Drive our Planet. Today these Frequencies are referred to as Birkeland currents, today the meaning of Birkeland Currents makes me wonder why there is misinformation about the Birkeland .
