Arresting beach campsite! Hey if you want to cut it wind noise on the GoPro, get yourself a Windslayer, they are awesome! I use mine ask the time and they’re about 2 for $10! 🤙🏽

Another great vid guys, sensational scenery.....And D...fyi , that fish you caught and kept, with the spots and stripes along the top of the body, is what South Aussies call a Tommy Ruff, but us good guys in the West call them herring. They breed along that coast so you should get plenty more...Stay safe guys....Cheers

I always look forward to your new experiences, it is always enjoyable and it is great that you are not only sharing your experiences but also supporting local businesses. The fish you were trying too ID looked like a finger mark ( good eating ) you got some nice size Gardies ( the fish with a long snout ) the flesh is sweet but I find they have a lot of little bones in them but nice catch. Just being on the water with a mate fishing just adds too the enjoyment, well done my friends 👍👍

I live 50 kms from Crystal Brook... that bakery (Kupsch's) makes the best pasties in South Australia IMO.
The fish you caught was a trumpeter or Shitty. They are actually very tasty on the chew but are a bit fidly to fillet. Most people who berate them as an eating fish probably have never tried to eat one.
Not my first choice over whitting but still very edible.

I've stayed exactly where you were in Crystal Brook many times. Was smiling to myself as you were so effusive about the spot thinking,"I wonder if he knows about the trains?" 😁. But it is such a good spot that I feel that it's something I'm prepared to put up with. Some nights there's 3 or 4, other nights there's none. Luck of the draw eh ?

Just curious what speed do you travel at with your rig setup, I travel 90 to 95, some say they travel 110 km/h
We sit between 90 and 100 kms. Find that is a comfortable speed.
What camera gear do you use, air and hand held
Hi, Mavric mini 3 pro, a gopro 8 and a gh5. Hope that helps
