This is a case of "I will never happen to me" in this episode. We have heard of it happening before along the coast line of South Australia but really never too it seriously... never again.
Also we start to head back up the coast to some of the best camps on the Yorke Peninsula, great food, great company and a whole lot of fun.

We sold our shack/ holiday home of 19 years 2 years ago at Hardwicke Bay which covers all of this most beautiful beach the best thing is it is quiet unlike the Turton Bay town.
😲 why did you sell?? Hardwick is deadset beautiful..
Well done for putting the Cuttlefish back I always do but something else I always do is eat the squid wing's as well 😮

SA feels like home to us, love it so much. Yea foot is much better now took a few good days to get over it. It was a fair wack that's for sure 👌
Hey Aaron. Don’t waste squid tentacles, they are great eating too, more tender than the tubes, and the suckers no longer grab once cooked.
Cook ‘em same way. Another thing, squid are awesome keeping once frozen, will keep good eating quality for a good 12 months, are also more tender once frozen for a 2-3 weeks.
Yea mate tried them, not bad but the kids and steph won't eat them 👎 😉 we still have squid in the freezer from SA

Its seriously an awesome place the Yorke Peninsula. Doesn't seem to be anything major at the moment. I tell you what though its gives you a fair walk when it hits you though, lucky it wasn't one of the groms
Amazing how many people out doing these trips with huge dollar set ups ..
There is a few killer setup our there kicking around. Each to there own, we pretty damn happy with our "mild" setup 😉

Hey 👋, not sure. The barb does hit with a bit of force and packs a punch 👊 . It hit me up quite high on the heel as well so 🤷♂️ not 100% sure sorry

I have a recipe for Salt and pepper squid without bread crumbs. Only way my wife likes it now. Cuttlefish are good eating but for the amount of flesh you get it isn't worth it. May pay to invest in a pair of water shoes.
Unfortunately I don't think our little groms would eat it without the crunchy breadcrumb coating. Yes we have heard that so I think we will stick to the squid.
