one of the most underrated leader in kpop is txt's soobin. i still remember how everyone questioned him being a leader because he's the only introvert in the group back and for "being bad at public speaking" in 2019. but soobin is the only fitting leader in txt, period. he never hesitates to speak up for himself and the members (ex : how he defended yj when they saw a comment regarding his weight), he monitors and keeps up with his member's activity in radio shows, variety shows, even trivial things like weverse and vlives, he makes sure to let them know that they did well, he KNOWS each member well so he catches on quick whether something's slightly wrong, and the list goes on. you can see how he genuinely cares for his members^^ and because of being an mc in mubank, he's also gaining confidence in public speaking too! he's doing a great job as a leader now :D
You are absolutely right !
Bestie is speaking facts right here. I really love how he's the supportive type of leader who cheers for his members. Plus, he even bakes for them??? Choi soobin, you fine man
He really deserves more from everyone...so mad he gets disrespected
Thank you for mentioning him. Not much people ever acknowlege him as a Leader. And yet he is best choice for it as he is the members comfort and they can all rely on each other. Hes a very unique humble leader
Tbh people may say that he’s a supportive and laid back type of leader but I’ve never seen any so called strong leader be so confrontational to the fans/anyone who dares to negatively comment about the members! Soobin might be supportive for his members but he’s absolutely strict in protecting them, he’s so brave and fears nothing! Not even scolding the so called fans for the sake of his members
Irene has so many responsibilities! It must be hard being the Leader, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Vocalist, Visual, Face Of The Group, Center, and etc... Long Live our Original Visual Queen!
not a red velvet fan but i respect them
QUEEN IRENE BEST LEADER SORRY NOT SORRY✨👌
Nah j think jihyo for me but I respect you
@@sunnybee2808 me too i love jihyo
Yes, Irene is so brave, we are proud of her 🤧💜
Chan is one of the best leader in kpop. He is caring, and he would do everything for his members. Its sad how he does his best and still doesn't gets much attention.
I always feel bad for leaders because even though there is the visual, leaders are the real face of the group. That’s a lot of pressure and I applaud all the leaders whether they chose to be leaders or the role was chosen for them.
Leaders aren't the face of group, centres are.
Leaders are the ones who hold the group together, come forward first when they have to speak in front of audience, the one's who take responsibility when the group seems to back down.
Tho u r right, the leaders deserve more appreciation.
@@yurika_edits I think what they meant with face of the group, is that everything is reflected on the leader in the end. The group's reputation and what not. It all often falls on them.
@@exloster9624 exactly! They are essentially the group’s representative in more ways than one.
@@yurika_edits
Nope, being the face of the group means representing the group. The leader will always introduce or talk talk first.
@@CassidyStarke it's "face" of the group, meaning the person who comes first in your mind when you think of the group. You might even see centres are also sometimes referred as "face of the group" when looking at official positions.
At first, even part of the fandom itself was surprised to see Jungwon taking the role of leader in enhypen, mainly because of his young age, but in a year already as leader of enhypen he has known how to guide the group and support the members as a great leader, demonstrating a maturity and emotional intelligence very rarely seen in boys of his age, Not only is Jungwon the most adorable leader I've ever seen, but he's also super empathetic and responsible.
I think bangchan is the best leader of all time coz he always care about his members and produces songs by 24/7 love you chan ❤️
Bangchan is not just a good leader as an artist but also as a person the way he have done many things for the group and stays & he never hesitate to called out his fans if we do anything wrong, everyone in k-pop community just use him as a punching bag & how k-pop stans go like "idols mental health matters" but what happens to that when it's come to him recently he said on bubble that he's not feeling good abt his work & fandoms started attacking him with shitty comments it's sad how he has to deal with such things we do not deserve him
💯👏👏👏
Soyeon(leader of gidle)
- main producer , songwriter, main rapper, lead dancer
- produced and written almost 95% of gidle's discography
- creates guides, plans concept, marketing, dresses , choreo, etc.
- she produced and wrote Latata when she was a trainee! As cube couldn't give them a decent title track
- took gidle to a whole new level
yes she is a genius 🤍🤍💜👑
Being a leader is not easy at all !
Specially at early age
I respect jungwon so much
For being a good leader for his members while he's a student
Actually I respect and love all leaders
Lightsum and Enhypen's leaders are incredibly young, 04 liners. I can't imagine being 17 and having to handle all this stress and pressure while carrying other people's burdens and problems as a leader. I'm not too familiar with Lightsum so I can't really speak much on Juhyeon's leadership.
But I think I can confidently say that Jungwon has done such a wonderful job this past year as Enha's leader, he's shown that he's extremely caring and attentive, extremely supportive, and can manage his group really well despite being the second youngest. His members rely on him and have a lot of respect for him, even the eldest members listen to him well and get babied by him a lot. In just a year, there are so many moments in their videos, lives, and just overall contents wherein he has proved himself to be well fit for the leader role, exceeding other people's expectations, and expelling people's doubts for when he was officially announced as the leader.
This is including the fact that he also gets most of the center parts and difficult parts in most of their songs, and he is undoubtedly the most stable performer in terms of vocals and dancing within the group. This is just another added responsibility, adding to the fact that he is the member most active in all their social media platforms and he is also the member who often does solo lives despite their busy schedule. Jungwon does so much to the point of overworking himself just for the group and the fans.
Some honorary mentions are when he is extremely attentive towards Sunoo, taking care of him when he was crying and emotional because of their 1st win in MuBank; Making sure Sunoo and Ni-ki get to speak during interviews and speeches; Calling Soobin and asking him to take care of Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo when they went to that radio show Soobin was hosting in because he couldn't go with them; Waking up the earliest in order to wake up the other members; In Jay's birthday live he was uncomfortable all throughout and moved to sit in the space in between the seats instead cause he noticed Sunoo barely had any space to sit on; And of course when he helped Sunghoon practice for his audition as an MC and video called with him in order to support Sunghoon during his first broadcast in MuBank. Also considering the fact that it was apparently his idea to come up with En' o Clock, he brought it up to their content producers so that Engenes would have content while they are on hiatus. He has done so much for both Enhypen and Engenes this past year and I hope sooner or later more people can learn to acknowledge and appreciate his wonderful leadership since it seems like there aren't a lot of people acknowledging it right now.
There's a reason why more than half of the members chose Jungwon as the member they were most thankful for in the year 2021.
Leadership is an extremely difficult thing, and it takes courage to be able to take on that role and be good at it. Although I only really mentioned Jungwon's doings and achievements, I think the mere fact that these two 17 year olds are able to take on such an important position in their respective groups and are doing well at it is already commendable enough.
My age mates 😭😭😭
For me Chan from Stray kids is one of the best leaders ever. He take care of all of them since they were in the survival show and in every controversy or problem he knows how to act correctly while being polite and assertive. Also, he take care of every single member and of their fandom.
Bang Chan... I have never found someone like him and sadly I don't know if I ever will.
He is more than a "good leader". He is a good human being. One of the nicest, kindest people I found (sadly never met).
As a leader,
Stray Kids could never have a better leader for them.
All stray kids members are good people but I believe Chan had big contribution to set the "loving" atmosphere within Stray Kids.
The members SAW how hard he works, how selfless he is despite that much work. He set the example and "wake up" the members' hard working, selfless side as well.
Idk if you watch enough stray kids content, you will understand what I'm saying.
For example, Seungmin once said "I give food to people I love. You see, Chan-hyung always said that he doesn't like drumstick, but he actually likes it, he just say it so the members can have it. That's why I (too) give my drumstick to the members."
It's a small thing but it gives the big picture.
Han also said "Chan-hyung has lots of responsibilities on his wide shoulders. I want to make good songs so I can lessen Chan-hyung's burden, even a little bit."
See... Like... He didn't say "I want to make good songs so we can be more famous". Do you get it...
They always go deep and somehow emotional when they're talking about Chan.
How much I admire Chan is beyond words.
Bang Chan (SKZ), JayB (Got7), RM (BTS), and Soyeon (G-idle) are my favorite and are def stand out amongst idols in general
JAYB BEST LEADER TT
Why is no one talking about seungcheol(scoups, leader of seventeen) he literally took care of the members since predebut when the other members were still in school, he became a father figure for them(and I remember he got kicked out of isac for getting mad at the referee and complaining cause a few of the members got hurt while playing ) he sacrificed so much for the group, he is such a kind and considerate person you could just tell and he has great leadership(it may not be obvious to few people but you could tell the members really respect and appreciate him). In my opinion, he is one of the best leaders in the 3rd gen
yes!! omg seungcheol was responsible for everything, and putting the members first before the company. making sure that everything is right for the members
I really appreciate how you put clips of yeji. She is so underrated as a leader.
Especially when the other members are fooling around. I feel so bad for Yeji cause it is not unusual for the rest of the group to take the situation not seriously enough (in cases that are filmed, not all the time). This seriously affects how the public sees Yeji as a leader.
im stressed abt yujin being the leader for ive bc she wa so used to being the youngest :(( i hope she isnt too stressed :/
being a leader would be very overwhelming for me
Let’s not forget Jayb of Got7 who took charge of Got7 legal process post-JYPE and waited till all the members settle down in their respective companies before announcing his own when we all knew way before. The members trusted him and he fought silently through the legal process and I respect him for that 💯
U KNOW , U JAYB THE BEST LEADER
I think it is really good when NOT the oldest member becomes a leader. Mostly because then the oldest will help the leader to overcome his/her struggles. For example, the leader of ENHYPEN in Jungwoon, but the oldest - Heeseung is always determinate to help him solve group problems or Jungwon's struggles
With Leadership, comes endless challenges and extreme pressure.... Not to mention the high expectations....
Jungwon is one of the best leader in kpop...
He is still studying & he is 04' liner means he is still young boy..Even though his leader ship is not joke
and he is so cool
ikr!
Bro JAY B GOT7 literally studied law and legal stuff regarding copyright just so they can keep the brand "GOT7" after they left jype. Then they released a single after the departure, he's the one who got the group a deal with Warner Music as their new music distributor. He took care all the paperwork and legal stuff until the point he had to delay his solo career venture and wait all other members are settled in their new respective companies
JAEBEOM BEST LEADER
Since no one is talking about suho from exo he is one of the best leader I have known he always take care of his members and make sure to be behind their back all the time when they needed him he even gone through so much after members leaving the group etc
That must had been fucking heartbreaking to see members go away.
that's why i admire yeji from ITZY so much. the members said that she was the reason they don't have a serious fight, people often criticizes her saying that she doesn't "act" or "look" like a leader when she does. the reason ITZY has such a good relationship is her, the fact that she respects them and listen to them, let them talk and have fun, but also knows how when to act serious and make them listen to her is what makes have so much respect for her. she's such a kind, patient, amazing leader and it shows. i honestly don't get when people say shit about her being a leader just bc the girls tease her a lot, but they also show a lot of respect for her and always listen to her.
I really respect Soobin. He is such an amazing leader, he sees the members as individuals and as a group too. He put them first, they trust in him.
Bang Chan BEST LEADER
i didnt know that being a leader can actually be hard and tiring
they have so much responsibilities
respect to all the leaders out there
Choi yujin best leader in kep1er
She really learned Chinese or Japanese language just to communicate with her international members
She really take care of her members
For a leader you have to be wise and responsible, I see that a lot so it’s easy only when you get used to it
Finally we got the time to collectively talk about these hardworking leaders
When I first entered kpop people my age where the maknaes (96 liners) and now they are leaders who are 00 liners, it's really a difficult job considering how hard it's to lead people and take care of someone else, I really admire leaders in kpop who do their job and know how to keep their group
Yeji: I am the leader of 4
RM:I'm the leader of 6
Bang Chan: I'm the leader of 7
Jihyo: I'm the leader of 8🙂
Still being leader of any number is still tough
Taeyong : Mom of 22 child+ 😂😂😂
For me Taeyong is the best leader because imagine taking care of 23 people. Besides from that he is the center of the group he is mainly carrying nct if something bad happens he is the first one that is blamed. Man the pressure for him I wonder how he does it. So I was happy that in superm he ain't the leader so you can see him more free.
Exactly
And will be more member 😂😂😂
I think Soobin is quite underappreciated as a leader . During their debut everybody questioned his leadership but I am glad that people have realised that he clearly deserves his leader position . Everybody says he is very supportive and laid back type of leader , yeas he is but I think he stands for the members and never hesitates to call out the people who make negative comments about them . For example he called the MOAs who were talking negatively regarding Yeonjun's weight in the Vlive . He always checks upon the members and praises them after performances . I hope he gets all the love and respect which he deserves . Also lots of respect all leaders out there . 💙
hongjoong (ateez) is definitely one of the best leader in kpop. he works so much for the group behind the scene and never hesitate to defend his members on lives whenever he sees a hate comment about them
LEE TAEYONG of NCT is the best leader of our generation imo. Imagine having a huge responsibility of 23 members... No one can relate🥲
Best Leader Ever!!! Period. 🙌🏼💚
Bangchan best leader of kpop
"Getting the members to focus and talk seriously..." that is SO HARD to do. In our band, we have people aging from 13-26 and it's so hard to make the smaller ones pay attention, while the ones that are more on the adult side just don't want to disturb their fun. It makes you want to poke your eyes out
People don't give enough credit to my boy Onew. He is a great leader and he and the whole group have been through so much. Love me some Shinee
Thankful for Leeteuk! Being SJ’s leader for 16 years must’ve been hard. SJ is blessed to have him as their leader 🥺💙
jihyo does it allll
Every leader is the Best leader ,clearly
Wait, so if a group doesn't have a leader, does that mean those problems won't exist?
No, I don't think so. They must have different problems such as coming to a conclusion. When there's a leader it's easier to make decisions through their guidance.
Jihyo is the best leader.
The most underappreciated leader is definitely shinee's onew he collect and took care of all the members after jonghyun and it must very hard for him as the leader because of all the paparazzi and hate and of course losing a member he is the pillar of shinee
I really respect all the leaders of the groups. But I can only talk about Chan (because well I am Stay) he really has been working so hard and taking the group to another level, he is responsable of so many things; producing, writing, concepts etc and he also takes care of everyone and makes sure everyone is feeling good. And I am so grateful that the rest of the members always try to help him and take some of his responsibilities (also I think they function so well as a group because they don’t let everything to the leader). Others great leaders , for the little I have seen and know are RM, I just like the way he speaks and approach situations, also Soobin from TXT, I find the way he stand his ground so cool and somehow rare in the industry, Soyeon from G-idle, that woman has all my respect she does everything in a very shitty company and also Yeji from Itzy. I am sure there are many more...
GD is the best leader in my opinion and my respect goes to Taeyong for leading so many members.
I appreciate the duo leaders of treasure, hyunsuk and jihoon. Because y'all know how naughty and mischievous those 10 kids r 😭😭. Imagine needing to control 10 weirdos running around in ur house. The leaders been doing so great. Hyunsuk is such a soft and loving leader. Everyone wants to be hyunsuk fav dongsaeng. But i don't think he can control all of them at a time because he's too kind. And there's Jihoon being a strict leader. They've completed each other
God Jihyo is one of the best Leaders in K-POP period. She really takes good care of her girls. She will go without to make sure that they have what they need. She's very protective of them, even the older members, she looks out for them. During the competition show "Sixteen" which helped create TWICE other trainees and JYP himself spoke about how she was showing great leadership no matter what group she was part of in the show. She was also voted as leader by the other trainees before the final line up for Twice even happened. She took the speech JYP gave at at dine with Twice about what it takes to be a great leader to heart.
One of my fav leader is iz*one eunbi
I just want to mention Scoups aka seventeen and carat jeongmal leader and hip hop team leader and a maknae in his family,,, hes doing very well! our leader, fightinggg ! fighting to all people that called a "leader" in this world🍒💖
One role in a group I've always said I wouldn't want was the leader because on top of all the pressures you already have, you have the pressure of taking care of your members and making sure all is well with them and everything is under control. If something goes wrong within the group, usually the leader becomes the scape goat whether they're at fault or not.
i cant imagine what bang yongguk went through
Damn, i finally saw a comment about Bang Yongguk
@@shahirashamshulanuar3511 he was my first ult!! such a great leader that never gets mentioned :/
@@mysticmon yeah i know right...he has been going through a lot especially lawsuit, yet nobody mention him in "Kpop Best Leader" video. He really protected his member till the end. Babyz can mentioned 1000 good things about yongguk but non fan will never care...
i loved it, your videos are so amazing
You’re too good
Wow, I usually don't really comment on videos but this one was really interesting, thank you for explaining things so well😄 it taught me some things and also gave me a different point of view on this role🙃
Thank you, and keep going!
Ryu Sera is so strong ! Always a leader in MINE heart ❤️
the clips of lee know and felix getting eliminated were so unneccesary 😭😭😭
I really feel bad for all the leaders of kpop groups, especially to the leaders of the groups I stan. But why would they blame the leaders for all failure and problems, and......as i know they even blame the leaders for other members fault
when you say leader the first person comes to my mind is Sowon from gfriend and Yeji from Itzy
I think Taeyong (NCT 127) Kun (Wayv) Bang Chan (SKZ), RM (BTS) and Soobin (TXT) do really well in their roles as a leader. I cannot even imagine the amount of pressure that they’re under and I just love how much they care about their members.
Rm a tellement de responsabilité, ils a participer à la création du groupe et continue de batailler pour son succès, cest un grand homme responsable et fiable cest le meilleur 🎉💜💜💜💜💜💜
Kang Seungyoon being the leader was the best decision for Winner despite being the maknae like he cares for each member and guides the group so well.
Leaders are always burdened with also being the fotg even though there is no fotg at all in their groups
EXO suho best leader❤️❤️
The role of a leader is so tough. I mean having that role for a simple school project is exhausting, imagine how much more exhausting it is for these idols. Some leaders who catch my eye at doing their job are Hyojung (oh my girl), RM (BTS), Irene (red velvet), Jihyo (twice), Soobin (txt), Jiu (dreamcatcher), and Chan (skz). There’s a lot more but everytime i see these leaders on TV, they’re very caring and determined.
i hope u can do kep1er vs korean beauty standards when they debut ! 💜
Imagine having to take care of 12 chaotic members😶(seventeen)
woah I never thought leader position is this hard😳
honestly im a hybe trainee set to debut & im prob am the leader. my whole life ive been casted as the leader in school, academic classes, lessons & many more but no matter what i do, i will always appreciate leaders like chan, solar & irene. i find it hard to b a leader in class esp when nobody listens. the last time i became a leader, i almost had a complete mental breakdown in front of them. everyone never listened to me, they just did things without my permission as a leader & the tough fact is they dont care, not a single bit. one member wouldn't speak, one gives passive aggressive about my decision, one says useless things, one keeps complaining, one doesn't participate & the worse of all, the one that acts like the leader. im not even sad rn, just plain angry. she told me i should fix my position when all she does is laugh, thinks shes the only one giving ideas when everytime i ask her, all she would say is "idk" or "idc" its always those answers & she thinks she has the right to complain about our group to my friends? hell nah! the whole time we were making the project, her opinion, plot & roles were decided, shes the one that decided everything & i would always ask everybodys opinion. not a single bit of my wants were decided, it was all them. the audacity to complain. i will always like leaders for their amazing patience, i wish i could b like them one day.
FINALLY BESTIE 💜😭💕💕 & HOW ARE YOU ?

@@useless_bitch4924 what is ur business?? Did I criticize any other leader?? Did I say that the other leaders are not good?? I just praised our PERFECT leader RM and u have nothing to do with this because RM still the BEST leader for us "ARMYs" and u don't have to agree with this lol
Stop being SHIT in every comment praising BTS members, why u didn't comment in those comments which say that" Suho is the best leader " or "Irene is the best leader" or "Jihyo is the best leader" lol
OMG really shit!!
Taeyong Best Leader
The leader of a whole class. RESPECT
Indeed . I can't imagine being the leader or spokesperson in that huge of a group . He got my respect .
RM is really a good leader
Soyeon, Irene and Cl are the best liders they all care for the members, they are all emotional smart, Cl would even risk her life for her members like in 2010 in a earthquake she went to the building to save Dara. Irene is a brave lider she wouldn't hesitate to call out the staff for their bad behavior towards the members like that useless stylist that didnt do her work properly. Soyeon writes the group songs, if it wasn't for her the group wouldn't even debut because Cube didnt have the group's debut song also she is selfless she doesn't get all the credit she deserves.
And Taeyeon is the worst lider she kicked Sica of the group.
Yeah, but still people hate them especially Irene she done right thing but people hate her they never see how much hard work she do for the group but they criticize her not the stylist and say she is a bully.🙁🙁
CL was not less than a Hero !
CAN YOU PLEASE DO FROMIS_9 VS K BEAUTY STANDARDS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Irene
What's the best hair for a theatrical romantic/soft dramatic (my body is similar to Hwasa's but I'm taller), dark eyes, brown hair, very pale skin?
Chanie is the best leader even tho he is just five😂
Choi yujin best leader in kep1er
No because I am very irresponsible and it is stressful.
For me, it will always be Scoups and Taeyong. Imagine taking care of 12 and 22 teens.
I respect Scoups a lot, he is a big softy with an intimidating aura.
(CARATS is the only fandom with a SUGAR DADDY)
I'm an older sister/ took custody of my sibling I also am a super at my job I think I could do it.. lol even if I didn't want to I always take the lead in things anyway or the "mama" role
pleaseee do stayc's kibbe
Please make IVE vs Korean beauty standards or nct dream vs Korean beauty standards
RM 😍😍😍😍
I believe leaders in every working team, but leader in a music group is like...put a huge burden into their shoulder. I mean they dont know anything about the industry, they are as blind as the other member, the pain, the challenge, the adult environment, they should work together hand in hand and not depend on one person to handle. This should be a manager job desc.
Leader suho❤
can someone explain to me how a leader is chosen?
I don't want to but I want to become irene
Why no one talking about bangchan
Everyone is talking about Chan tho-
Apink's Park Chorong is the best
Now their are groups who have co-leader, sooo......
jaebeom is a good leader , sorry HE IS THE BEST , U NEED MAKE A VIDEO TALKING ABOUT HIM , HE REALLY LOVE GOT7 AND AHGASE
Hello
g dragon is the best leader
why you putting crying idols on the thumbnail
I like taking responsibility, even if it means that the pressure is on me, so yes
My favourite leader is definitely karina I love her💙💙💙💙
