I can't have my tekken 8 if I lose.
Great stuff! I’ve been playing Paul for a long time since 1 and never really bothered to learn combos until 7. I’m also busy so I can’t sit and lab 8 Paul but this really helps what kind of options I have with the drive meter.
Hopefully they make proper optimize combos for each character soon as they can hehe. Im always trying to adapt to new Tekken 8. My mindset and matchup still on Tekken 7, lel
any chance to get notations? im kinda confused i cant get the combo to work..... after launch i go (df4 , 1>dash , 3,2) db2 after that never connects or am doing something wrong? i get 1 single short bounce after 3,2 string like you do in your combo do you dash after 3,2 string ? i cant see it

On buff male characters you can now do the big boi wallcombo that was only possible on bigs. 3,2b qcf2 Jab qcf2 etc If you wallsplat them directly with b1+2 as an example B1+2 > qcb1+2 t! > 3,2b qcf2. B1+2 > b1,2 t! > Jab > very small delay > qcf2. The timing is still a bit strict but its possible if you have the right angle and a clean wallsplat ig lol
@@MrDyran21 buff male characters (kaz, jin, bryan, leroy, king, paul, jack, etc) in general. 8 remember that from the CBT and it still works for kaz jin and paul from the demo. The big boi wallcombo with qcf2 at the end can work on female characters but its wayyy harder and on some of them it just doesnt work. Like i remember this combo being possible on Nina, Azucena and thats pretty much from what i recall. Asuka, ling, jun etc its either way too tight to make it consistent or just not possible at all cuz they fall on the ground too fast. It applies also to the easier version of the big boi wall combo with jab > qcf2 as well.
@@jacoblarson8113 yeah you still have to cancel the backsway with Up and then do the deathfist for the combo to work. So it still requires some execution but its devastating
Tbh they should just allow the heat engager to activate by holding forward like when during heat is activated. Maybe they just want everyone to really use heat i guess
@@wildsnack2080 Remember that the devs want you to play aggressive.. its like the automatic activation of heat forces you to play aggressively because you dont want to waste the heat timer
@@MARKULA214 I tried using the keyboard and it slightly easier to do just tap forward three times then immediate 2 after the third, and keep in mind they made close range running easier no more specific timing on the inputs
paul vs kazuya is always the best i used to play tekken 2 since the marvel infinty and street fighter 3 2nd impact was out in synergy. i hope namco reset char just like what happen to Mk 😅😅😅😅 this game is timeless 😊
@@OtakuDeFuriku for now I would suggest you slow down the video and see when Paul moves after df2 for timing. practice mode has an option to show recovery frames and it flashes the characters - this indicates when you should input qcf1 You will have to wait for the full game to check that or try it in Tekken 7 if you have it.

32 b he goes into sway stance 1+2 is a bound move from that

Hi i’m new to tekken i noticed that certain moves activate the heat is possible to use that moves without activate the heat?
As of now it's not possible, those moves will automatically go into heat.
Tbh they should just allow the heat engager to activate by holding forward like when during heat is activated. Maybe they just want everyone to really use heat i guess

Idk if it’s console but quarter circle forward 1 is hard to input during combos. Don’t know if pc is the same
Qcf 1 is hard to do immediately after launcher

That's hard to do, you have to wait for df2 to recover and input qcf 1 after
