@@tentshedtrev6596 seems that running the thinner booster from the 16v 740/760, 960, or even an e30 is how it's often addressed. I think there are manifolds in Europe that also work better, such as on the b204gt (not that anyone has one to spare)
I had a 16v thin booster to try, the firewall bolt pattern and the master cylinder bolt pattern is not the same as the stock 240 booster, then you are still stuck with a less than ideal TB placement.
