yea ur right but he just lost his son. what he is saying is wrong and bad but try being in his shoes and feeling that u just lost ur son. i bet u wont think straight
He literally says, "I caused it" at one point, so he accepts his portion of culpability as well. Yes he puts it on other people as well, but he recognizes the part he played.

Agreed. People act funny when they’re grieving but and look for something or someone to blame. It’s very sad
Not to mention he’s a grown man, I’m sure he didn’t ask anyone if he should drive. He most likely had his keys on him, they definitely didn’t “give” them to him.

@@daylifeyonah sounds intense. Be careful they might be listening
@@persevere12 Im glad you highlighted that because the lines between bad choices and "Mental illness" is completely blurred and has now become a scapegoat for wreckless behavior. Starting from the top he was the typical teenager who did and experimented with typical drugs - OTC, weed etc. The first problem was how he was allowed to continue down this path of dark music knowing it only opens the doors of pandora's box as a young kid with no guidance from adults helping seperate the image of rap vs reality.. basically hanging with enablers. The second mistake became the high he got from the combination of unlimited access to drugs through the bandmates and mgmt and the high that is gained from the essence of fame and celebrity life seemingly making him feel some level of invincibility. Mental health is reserved for people who experience REAL PTSD in some form such as violent assaults, active and prior duty war personnel and even in some inner cities due to crime, as well as countries where cartel members dictate life and death in some instances in public view in broad daylight traumatizing those who wake up w it daily. The kid couldve stopped doing drugs at ANY point he wanted to but he became addicted like many others with a weak mind and easily persuaded and succumbed to his desires.
Now a better example of mental abuse would be him being abused growing up, physically, mentally and sexually and he used music as an escape.. but from watching this doc it looks like he had a life ahead of him until he tried rapping.. it worked.. and like any other local user once you come into money you dont want to keep smoking that reggie... you wanna finally step up..
Personally i cant understand how anyone got so self absorbed into this sound ... but to each his own.. kids stay off drugs and stay in school.

seeing barron's father blame lean for his son death is just so unfair
Yeah dude seriously it's fucked. Like he knew his son was getting faded the whole time and see the signs but chose not to do anything till it was too late and now blames lean. Smh
Think it's a little understandable tbh , if you like fairly from both sides. As he said lean didnt kill my son but he had a hand in it, which is a fair statement
What’s more frustrating for me is being upset at Lean for not staying there for Barron to be buried. Like the whole catalyst was Lean’s mental health emergency, why would you expect him to stay and further decay?
His father is saying that Yung leans breakdown caused his sons death, I think that's a fair representation of the facts. I never knew this side of the story and its all just heartbreaking.
I had a similar situation, taking acid with a bunch of friends. 1 person freaked, fell onto a bong, grabbed the broken glass and sliced his neck open. We held his neck shut while the ambulance came. The rest of us never got any heat, but we could have all due to the actions of this individual. I empathize with the father's disbelief that it happened at all.
It's crazy when people take pictures with him and it looks like he cares more about having a human contact than them...
that made me feel so sad, what i wouldn't give to see him live let alone meet him. it would be literally the best day of my life and i wouldn't be able to express how much his art means to me.

We talked about life, music and his future, he said "I will go world wide and do what I do best". He was so happy, kind and open-minded, never thought about his dark side. However, releasing Kyoto in 2013 was a total game changer, it shifted my music taste to a new direction, that was a mind-blowing experience and I truly miss those times.

It’s so clear he got mixed with the wrong people in the US being that he was so Yung. These people exploited him and it drove him insane
Wow nice pung so hilarious given the situation
Maybe yes, maybe no. When someone has addiction and mental health problems it's easy to play the game of "they were exploited, they were pressured", but oftentimes there's nothing to blame other than the diseases themselves. Not his fault, not anyone's fault, just something he ended up with. A lot of the people around him probably cope with similar issues.
@@beekertin couldn’t have said it better
I strongly disagree. He made dicision to take a drugs.
@@matusgerbiark3622 anyone can make that choice easily but to take that and learn from it and come back from as far gone as he was is MUCH harder.
