I will never not love that border scene "yes we have few troops on the border and this is the weakest spot" "sir we seem to have defensive walls and a dug in company of men and vehicles"
@@canon07 In this video, only the Second Great War - have just started... Those three guys involved from the start. But VOLKNET is an AI child that haven't even born yet. Foehn what? Nope, they haven't founded yet, not even Yunru is out of the China soil not yet until the freakin Mental Omega war... So, "most influential man" candidates on both wars will be only those. Sorry

For me, the mission where you assassinate Dugan went... a little differently. After killing Dugan, every Allied building was sold, and their troops all starting towards my meagre base. Since I'd bumrushed the Alamo, I had basically no units, and was completely unprepared. The only thing I had was a Stallion helicopter, and Morales. I managed to park Morales up on the overpass to the north, at which point every allied unit beelined for him. Over the course of ten minutes, and with lots of baiting and running, Morales managed to singlehandedly massacre every single Allied unit in the city, including tanks, humvees, SEALs, and hordes of infantry. The man is a hero and, canonically, one of the DC Beltway Snipers.
@@markzosemsuello4016 Hell yeah, that would be great reason to return to MO once more and replay story again. But i dont rly see any updates on game at all.
Would never touch Mental Omega cause my brain cannot handle the micromanagement, but the gameplay seems so intuitive and interesting, and your naration of the story proves the plot has such quality too, so thanks for this!
@@thefool8224agreed with what you said. At first I got confused because it is different from the vanilla game but once I got familiar with its gameplay, it's easier to play it. It is true that the campaign is draining but I love challenges so I managed to finish it twice.
This story telling of Mental Omega seems interesting, very accurate, all missions connected with the campaigns we play in the game. Like it's telling us of what's to come from the events of the missions we play.
Finished watching the video and damn! Great stuff! Just wanted to say, your videos are very well made, and I want to thank you for covering such a niche topic of a mod I adore and played for years. Keep up the good work, you're awesome!
The meme usage is spot-on, the lore is deeply explored and the production level very well done. Hope you continue the series, I'm anxiously waiting for more.
Thanks for continuing the series! Your storytelling & editing skills works so well together. The way you blend the story with memes made an enjoyable watch. Keep up the great work!
Outstanding work, man. I feel like these videos will really help those confused/lost on the lore, cause of how ambitious it is for an interconnected campaign of this scale. Keep up the great work.
Finally. I can experiance the story of MO without having to play it myself. I'm poor at command and conquer and I'm grateful to you for making these videos.
Your editing and using maps in the same style as the campaign loading screens is fantastic. Thanks for covering such a niche but dear topic to us fans. Subscribed just for the quality of editing!
I like how I subbed to you like a couple of mins ago because I found your part 1 of this series, lo and behold, part 2 came right after. Looking forward to some more
Didn't expect MO to be your next-on-the-list, that's nice. Will be looking forward to seeing more of this series from you since i have such mixed feelings about this mod.
Man I love this so much, I've been searching this type of video that explain about MO lore. Your presentation and editing is so well done (+ memes). Good job and keep it up! 💪 🔥
I love that there are documentary-style videos explaining the history of one of my favorite games. If you could, please add subtitles to better understand the translation into other languages. I am a Spanish speaker and I like that there are more people talking about "Mental Omega"
Amazing work , i was waiting for a youtuber to make a story of this legendary gane , i was thinking to do so , but i my english and editing are weak 😅, Anyway thank you fir making this story and we are waiting fir more❤
The Soviet invasion in this worldline scarily didn't hold back compared to the vanilla RA2 timeline. Oh, if only this universe got the Yuri's Revenge Allied campaign treatment. Interesting, really, that the American/Allied prodigy is now fighting on Washington D.C., while the Soviet genius is on New York. Far cry from the original worldline, this pattern. 2:21: This ain't the C&C of your childhood, said the game mod. The Yuri angle of "Golden Gate" really should be part of Westwood canon. After all, it nicely explains the San Francisco Psychic Dominator in RA2: YR. Sure is a harsh lesson to me and others, seeing the Allies in MO be more divided than necessary. 5:20: "Rhino rushing" is now unwise, said the game mod. Pronouncing Rashidi is something close to a more rougher "Rah-shee-dee", by the way. Also", Stinger has a softer "g", and the very first USA Generals mission would help that. Here's an extra tidbit: Apparently, the Stormchildren were supposed to be sent all around the States so to relieve other military forces. Unfortunately, these efforts were curbed because of the events of "Road Trippin'" (Allied 3), which explains why they weren't that involved in "Needlehead" (Soviet Co-Op 1) and "Shipwrecked" (Epsilon 4). 11:25: Even if it meant killing off Hollywood actors that somehow got tempted by the Red Menace. Again, a far cry from the memorable Yuri's Revenge Allied mission "Hollywood and Vain". Another tidbit: It's implied that "Heaven and Hell" (Allied 4) happened almost simultaneously with the aforementioned "Shipwrecked", thus proving most of the Americans' heroic actions moot, since the Bahamas fleet was supposed to link up with the Florida naval forces. 13:00: Normally, Morales should be fully promoted enough to fire white phosphorus rounds that'll also take out the Secret Service guards.
Probably one of those text to speech programs. The same sort used to make those voice meme videos, like of the 3 US presidents playing and doing tier lists.
In Red Alert 2 they show when we introduce to Lt EVA as we see silos across the nation go up likely the most powerful warheads there or couldn't get or one of several taken out in the start I assume
Would've been awesome if you made a similar continuity for RA3 where the Allied, Soviet, Imperial and FutureTech Players all fought in one timeline, rather than separate ones.
I will never not love that border scene "yes we have few troops on the border and this is the weakest spot"

Soviet General

Casual difficulty isn't really any more difficult than the base game. Some missions, especially in Soviet campaign, are really long and exhausting tho
