@@tobbe2363 well not really. In the next dlc (can't remember name) the orks won and the magpies lost about half their numbers. ThunderPsyker is my source (great UA-camr)
IG doesn't want to fight. Blood Ravens are under orders to secure the planet. In DoW2 it turns out their Chapter Master has fallen to chaos which is why he ordered it.
T'au Main here. If the T'au footage you shown speaks of the general gameplay you had with them it means that the reason you didn't really feel it is the lack of a good number of Stealth Suits and at least 1 unit of Pathfinders. Stealth Suits only take 1 pop and can swiftly take the entire map for you if you make good use of their jet packs (plus the fact they can easily delete armored targets latter in groups of at least 4 when upgraded) As for Pathfinders not only can they mark targets that your Fire Warriors delete in seconds but their sight range is like a moving lighthouse. Also the Fire Warriors have extremely good range but their sight range is not as big, which is where the Pathfinders come in. I also tend to play a "mini game" of sorts if you will with the enemy in strongholds. I call it: "How close can they get before they get Plasma Fired?" (That being said I wished the faction had better Crisis suits or at least a way to heal them) As for what you missed with the Eldar (I more or less prefer the Xenos factions so I played a full campaign with all of them while also reading their lore) the Warp Spiders are very fun to use and their Falcons allow you to make some cool stuff you can't with other factions, (especially in stronghold missions) such as bypassing the terrain with a massive force that clears the way for a builder to teleport in and create a Webway gate (portal) to move as you please through the map in seconds. The reason you could not manage any more than 1 battle with them is not (necessarily) because you did not like the way they play...it is the fact that THIS MAP ZOGGING ssssSSSSSSUCKS!!!! I belive I speak for everyone when I say that no one sees having to fight on this map as anything more than a chore. As for the Necrons...the only defense I have for them is the fact that when the game released they where "Pre-Trazyn". (AKA Pre-Fun) That in it self says something. (If you know not who Trazyn is then OH BOY will you love him.) Finally the Orks...I mean, Come on. If they are not someone's favorite faction they are his second favorite (myself included) and if he says otherwise he is a Liar. Sorry if this is long by the way.
I Will forgive your (bad)xeno propaganda since you also liked the orks. No but really great comment, im not totaly convinced but i respect it. Oh i have listened to the infinite and the divine, most of it was great fun but it kinda dragged on in the end in my opinion. And it was not too long, It was the perfect length.
@@tobbe2363 My thanks. And again, if any one tells you that Orks are not his Favorite or second favorite...he iz a git and you should krump im as such.
There are far more worst Relic Units in Dark Crusade: Squigotth, Avatar of Khaine (he's more support unit rather than ultra-kill-gods unit), Chicken Dinosaur (T'au) However, in Soulstorm Relic Units suck ass: The Living Saint, Dais of Destruction
Er, it's quite simple if you want to see the Tau as a faction that fits in the universe. From this point on I see them as a race that hasn't fallen yet. But sooner or later, like all the others, they will fit in when they're also in the field ^^ A lot of people don't understand that.
No matter how shitty that sounds, in the end Lorgar was right and today he sits on his throne of truth and laughs up his sleeve. The bastard was unfortunately right.
If you do decide to play Dark Crusade with Mods, then I really recommend the Titanium wars mod, it adds some a few extra cutscenes for some strongholds but nothing major. It also adds a LOT of new units and models for the races as well as a better camera. I won’t spoil to much for what the mod adds but if you decide to play it, I’m sure you will have a lot of fun. T’au are really fun to play in this :)
How factions play in a shell nut Space Marines: Vanilla, Diverse units with good streanghts nad decent melee. Emphisis on SLOW. units can self revive and they get a mobile base in the form of a full awakened monolith ( Terrifying as hell and strong as fuck)

@@povilzem I would disagree with you on this one. Dreadnoughts and Terminators can stop the monolith for a while, while your marines or buildings will be dealing most of the damage. Though, the solar pulse might cause some trouble with that, but you can retreat to your base

That is probably 1000% true, but im just playing single player and they were by far the easiest faction to win with in my opinion.
The counter to necrons is to defeat them before they tech up. If you can get a monolith running, there's little that can stop you.
