T'au Main here. If the T'au footage you shown speaks of the general gameplay you had with them it means that the reason you didn't really feel it is the lack of a good number of Stealth Suits and at least 1 unit of Pathfinders. Stealth Suits only take 1 pop and can swiftly take the entire map for you if you make good use of their jet packs (plus the fact they can easily delete armored targets latter in groups of at least 4 when upgraded) As for Pathfinders not only can they mark targets that your Fire Warriors delete in seconds but their sight range is like a moving lighthouse. Also the Fire Warriors have extremely good range but their sight range is not as big, which is where the Pathfinders come in. I also tend to play a "mini game" of sorts if you will with the enemy in strongholds. I call it: "How close can they get before they get Plasma Fired?" (That being said I wished the faction had better Crisis suits or at least a way to heal them) As for what you missed with the Eldar (I more or less prefer the Xenos factions so I played a full campaign with all of them while also reading their lore) the Warp Spiders are very fun to use and their Falcons allow you to make some cool stuff you can't with other factions, (especially in stronghold missions) such as bypassing the terrain with a massive force that clears the way for a builder to teleport in and create a Webway gate (portal) to move as you please through the map in seconds. The reason you could not manage any more than 1 battle with them is not (necessarily) because you did not like the way they play...it is the fact that THIS MAP ZOGGING ssssSSSSSSUCKS!!!! Can you talk about the Tau gameplay?
OK soulstorm was crap Dark crusade was damn good
Yeah thats what people keep telling me, i guess i’ll find out when i try it for myself
@@tobbe2363 Soulstorm got a bad rap largely from bugs that have mostly been patched just make sure you save before you finish each fortress mission and you should have a good enough time.
THE BANEBLADE!
Please in his holy name play the Soulstorm: Unification Mod. You will not regret it (though your computer will get a bit toasty after playing it lol!!).
Haha i don’t known If my PC can handle that shit If im honest
@ lol, mine probably can’t either.
Used to live in the countryside playing this game i finished the factions and am ngl as much as i hate them the eldar ending wasn't that bad
At least it has FEW game modes in the campaign for seconday map areas, unlike soulstorm (only 2) xp
16:26 I think you are overrating the Necron's a little too much. Sure, they are easy to play, but not hard to counter
That is probably 1000% true, but im just playing single player and they were by far the easiest faction to win with in my opinion.
The counter to necrons is to defeat them before they tech up. If you can get a monolith running, there's little that can stop you.
@@povilzem I would disagree with you on this one. Dreadnoughts and Terminators can stop the monolith for a while, while your marines or buildings will be dealing most of the damage. Though, the solar pulse might cause some trouble with that, but you can retreat to your base
12:32 Another one not knowing much about SM. They are VERY diffrent.
Literally never heard anyone hating dark crusade expansion. Opposite it was the best. Soulstorm was very disappointing at the time.
Edit: ok you got me, we still feel passionate about dawn of war
Haha knew it would get people going
Tau is one of the easiest faction to play. their basic fire warriors delete all infantry with impunity.
sooo soulstorm when?
Careful with puns like that- people may not know you and think you got Dc and Ss mixed up & click away
I thought it was soulstorm.???
I only use kroot when playing as tau.
A man of culture i see
soulstorm expansion when : O
haha i just finished this one!
I like the conquest map and that's all.
Too much factions for 1 planet in my opinion.
Soulstorm had make that better.
Yeah it feels a little forced, but If we dont think about it too hard it works....kinda.....
Mods mods mods
Do the mod video
You mixed up dark crusade with soulstorm DC is loved
Oh i am fully aware my friend, noone in their right mind actually thinks the Horse armour dlc is good
As an Imperial Guard main, I never had that many troubles facing the necrons and the monolith. You just need enough armor and artillery.
Ok yes
It was Soulstorm that was bad ^^
Yeah everyone is really getting my hoped up haha
nice
Nice
