The whole 'make do and mend' motto has been around for decades. Women had to do this very thing during the second world war when everything was rationed, and all the clothing factories were being used to churn out stuff like military uniforms and parachute fabric. It's still a great way to approach everything as long as you don't go overboard and assume everything should last 25 years.
Is there any way I can get/purchase normal pattern pieces for patterns I’ve bought from you? I’m really intimidated trying to piece together the printed ones. My mom knows how to piece together normal pattern pieces (like the ones that seem like they are on tissue paper) Just not sure what to do. Thank you 💛
Hi there! We don't sell printed patterns through our site, but we do have this list of stockists, sewliberated.com/retailers that carries them. We also have a guide to printing here, sewliberated.com/tutorial/how-to-use-digital-sewing-patterns
Beautiful message. Thank you for this reminder 🙏🏻
