Greetings, I hope you enjoy this new and improved walk across Skyrim. It was quite the treat to make. This time around I changed a couple things to help improve the look, sound, and feel. 1st off I put on an Enb which made Skyrim look twice as beautiful. Enb's are pretty crazy. 2nd turned off the Hud. 3rd used a controller so the movement doesn't look to choppy. 4th it's in 4k now, looking way better than before. 5th I got quite lucky with more snow and rain. Also I took time to take in the sights more often. Overall I'm extremely happy with the final result. I truly hope you enjoy watching and or listening. Well looks like that's it. Got to go :)
its definitly better than the one before, your effort pays off. The one before was still good :* PS: can you increase the Field of view? oh and you maybe could increase your FPS, when you turn around the camera a little faster the frames damages the view a little
You ever gonna do a video like this for the Witcher 3? I feel like that would be a great setting for one of these, just slowly walk around the map either by foot or on Roach.
I love this video and saved it immediately. I'd love another with the music turned up and the sounds turned down a bit, even if it was much shorter. I put this on in the background and it is great to have on. Just very relaxing.
Wow, I came here to express my gratitude and I'm so glad to see others have too. This is absolutely wonderful my friend. Thank you for putting this video together. It's a lovely way to revisit this world. It's things like this that make the internet such a wonderful place. :)
Anyone feeling from time to time you miss skyrim? Like you miss your parents when youve been out for a while or a passed relative when you see his/her photo again? That feeling of being home when you play it again. Skyrim is for sure MORE than just a game, is a memory, a part of your soul.
I miss the game, but I miss my first experience playing the game more. The music envokes such a nostalgia: I can smell the fabric of the couch I first sat on to play the game, I can see the light seeping through the shutters of the room I first played it in, I can feel that rapture that led me to explore every facet of the game... It is truly a world I would immensely enjoy visiting as my own person and not as a character I control as I sit on a couch/chair/beanbag. I'd love to experience the smells, the feeling of the cold air, and experience the physical environment as a part of it. To say I'm obsessed with this game, even 12 years after it's release, is an understatement.
It seems so strange that Skyrim made me want to study and read about history and research places that triggered the same emotion I got from playing this game. Places that are still remote and live a traditional way of life such as the Himalayan communities in Nepal and Tibet, to the Hindu Kush in Afghanistan. It encouraged me to get my AA in history, which lead me to pursue a BA in International Relations in Thessaloniki, Greece, far from my small town in California. After graduating from Greece, I now am doing my Masters in Human Rights and multi-level governance in Italy. Its crazy to look back and remember that Skyrim really is one of the reasons I am where I am today, and that without it, I wouldn't have gone on all of these crazy adventures and traveled to strange places. I would probably still be working a dead-end job in my hometown. This video brings all of those same emotions back and reminds me of where my adventure started. *Since I wrote this comment I am now doing an internship at a university in Istanbul! Everybody keep pursuing your dreams and get out of your comfort zone!
Good for you my friend. I am also a History student and I am ambitious to specialize in Ancient History. Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls also means a lot to me.
The magic of this game still hasn't worn off. Nothing beats the music and atmosphere, taking us all back to easier times. You've captured it wonderfully, I look forward to napping with sounds that soothe my soul.
It's crazy isn't it, there's almost something magical about the music, ambience, and world of Skyrim. I thought making another one of these videos would be kind of boring. But I found myself enjoying this walk more than before. Glad you've enjoyed it thus far and I hope you have good restful naps 😴
@@LoopyLongplays Truly is one of them games I find myself drifting back towards, at least once every 2 or so years, to once more play in its entirety. Just the ambience, the sense of coming home and the voices I recognise. To a story that was well thought out and the enemies so vast, along with the towns that were unique in all their own way. I thank you again for doing it, with the lovely enhancement mod that just makes the water looks so crisp and clear, I myself want to take a dive! I was curious though; do you have to turn off enemies from encountering you on the walk around? I keep waking up at times to watch more and see that it's smooth sailing all the way, and the warm voices of companions and taverns I recognise. But yes, did you have to modify to get an uninterrupted walk?
I think stuff like this proves people are connected in some strange cosmic way. For so many people to have this magic filled emotion for a disc that I slammed into my 360 as a child
I never thought to use it as ASMR hmm I like to watch but it could be useful been sleeping light lately I seem restless so I may try that good thinking
Visiting Skyrim is like coming Home, you know everything and everyone but you love to see them every time again x3 Using this while learning for university, great video again mate!
Well if home has tombs with druger roaming about then yeah I get that definetly homely 😁 joke I do get it the feel so calming returning from a long journey after a trip to black reach its nice to unwind with a stroll ushely no choice if over encumbered 😅
I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this. I am severely chronically ill and disabled...homebound and mostly bedbound. I would love to play video games like this, but I unfortunately don't have the energy to do so. Environments are among my favorite aspects of games. I am able to passively watch these types of videos though. Sometimes I'm unable to do anything but lie in bed, and videos like this one make it so I feel, to a small degree, that I can walk through nature...or even better that I can walk though a huge, gorgeous painting...complete with music. It is so soothing and uplifting and makes my worst days so much better. Thank you. ❤
Not true. The reason I like the game so much is because I can play basically anything. An Orc that is a Thief but uses the weapons of a Barbarian, a High Elf that is a Barbarian and has nothing to do with spellcasting, and so on.
one time, i somehow glitched the game into treating that little snot as an Enemy...some combination of having an over-boosted Sneak skill (so the guards didnt know i was even there, let alone where i was) and then a Frenzy spell on Shithead so she was aggro'd at me (i think her actual name is Braith? i dunno, its been a while since ive played and i didnt care enough about her attitude to actually learn her name lol)...so basically, the Guard sees an NPC suddenly go Hostile, but didnt see any 'reason' for being hostile, so the Guard ends up attacking her...it was like she was having some sort of mental breakdown, running towards some invisible demon with her fists up while also screaming "Leave Me Alone!" all while the guard is fruitlessly flailing away at her with his sword, or occasionally firing an arrow if she ran too far away...but of course, children are Immortal, so his attacks merely prolonged her Aggressiveness indefinitely, until i loaded an Interior Area... ...shame she couldnt Actually be punished like she deserved, but i chalk that up as a "close enough" lol
Going through a hard time in life and unable to sleep at the moment due to anxiety. One of the only things that has helped me late at night. This has helped more people then you know. Thanks for sharing Skyrim’s beauty and your dedication to do so.
when i'm having trouble focusing on my studies i put this video on and imagine i'm a student at the college of winterhold traveling around skyrim. thanks loopy
Hi Loopy (:! I used your video to sleep last night, I wake up a lot in the middle of the night and sometimes I am scared, but it was really nice to wake up and see you still there, still walking. Thank you for doing this. ❤️❤️
Was at the midnight release party for this game the night it came out. Still play it to this day from time to time. Walking around the forests with Jeremy's music playing softly in the background just does something to me. An escape from my reality.
Currently listening to this while I write my PhD dissertation. I have had a lot of stresses in my personal and work life this year and listening to this has helped me cope with that. It's hard to describe the feeling of comfort this evokes but I suppose I don't have to explain to my fellow Elder Scrolls fans. So thank you for this, it is excellent!
I am truly happy to hear this video could help you. Some days, months, years, can be harder than others. And I understand what you mean this game, it’s music and ambience just brings me so much comfort too. Thank you for sharing and for watching ❤️
Thank you for this, i think most people wont realise or understand you actually sat down and DID THIS NON STOP. Crazy commitment, i love it. It helps me sleep too so much appreciated.
There is no way - I mean correct me if I'm wrong Loopy, but no, 11 hours no bathroom breaks is not happening. I imagine every time he goes through a door is the perfect place to cut because music stops, that way you can take hour breaks or week breaks or whatever you want. There's still a lot of work to do this and we should appreciate it bc it's amazing stuff, but it's not 11h non-stop.
@@discorddrowned6970 haha alright well maybe you need to set yourself an alarm to remember to take breaks and drink water, your health is worth more than that my friend
Might be odd to say, but this video is a regular nap time assistant in our household. KO’s my mildly moody 4 month old(who looooves to fight against taking his naps) in an average range of 2 to 10 minutes, which has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion when I really needed him to calm down so he could rest. 10/10, will always recommend. I also just love this game in general, so it’s an incredible thing to have up on the tv while I’m doing housework. Thank you so much for the time and care put into this absolute masterpiece. 💜💜💜
Dang! Thank you and I feel so honoured that this video can help your 4 month old so much. And it was my pleasure, the amount of time alone I’ve put in Skyrim is quite a bit so I wanted to make a video to properly share the sounds and beauty of this fantastic game ☺️
I have been playing Skyrim since it was released and still play it to this day. I love the ambient sounds, but the wolves always make me laugh. I swear it sounds like someone said "hey man howl like a wolf in this mic for me real quick" and kept it for the sound. 😆
Got through the entire video. I like having it on in the background while writing in my journal. I can listen to the music while I write, then take a break and look up and watch the beautiful scenery between sentences.
Man. The sight and music around 5:41:20 has always been the perfect combination in Skyrim imo. Love it so much. Makes me wanna travel back up north to a place where you can see this in real life - I have once before, almost 4 years ago, and this makes me want to do it again even more! Thanks for the nice video :)
Yeah the Aurora borealis is beautiful in Skyrim. Love the way the colors flow. Where did you go to see it? I've been interested in visiting the Yukon it's about a 2k drive for me but it would be a fun trip to partake someday.
I never played Skyrim and know little about it, but I love watching and listening to Skyrim ambiences every now and then. It's so well made, really enjoyable.
I clicked on this just to see how it looked… two hours later and my tea is cold and I have forgotten what the hell I was meant to be doing. This is going to be awesome for the occasional bouts of insomnia. Nice work Loopy!
My favorite video to play and sleep to or watch trying to relax. I love Skyrim so much, it was almost my entire childhood, my whole teenage life, and that one game that made me into an actual gamer. Skyrim always has a place in my heart as something I dearly Iove. It’s basically what I consider home
There's a reason Skyrim is a classic, the love and care put in by the devs shows. The game has soul. Regardless of the stories, the environments, the music, it all combines to provide a beautiful aesthetic. I can watch this and listen to the music for hours. I never tire of it.
Possibly the longest tracking shot of “filmic” history.Thank you so much for this enthralling journey. As I am prevented from real walks this is a most welcome alternative.Markarth scenes spectacular!
Skyrim is like a second home to me and even if I can't currently play it, I'm thankful that videos like these exist, they put my heart at ease. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on a laptop that can run skyrim soon!
When you stop at the first inn and are going through the inn's menu, I actually felt a thrill of excitement that they had Abecean Longfin for sale! You can use it for the Fortify Restoration/Echanting/Blacksmithing exploit!
Been looking for something like this to put on in the background/fall asleep to. Skyrim will always be one of my favorite games of all time. Well done!
Very late night for me up with stupid painful cramping (it's just after 3am here lol) I put this video on to help distract my mind from the pain ❤ i absolutely love Skyrim and I need to play through it again soon!
I found this by accident, and this is by far the coolest youtube video out there. There was ALOT of time and dedication gone into this video. It is so beautiful. My only question is how did you get people not to interact with you or wolves, dragons etc? I cant wait to walk all 11 hours of this during work to help pass the time. I think its ironic how my screensaver is skyrims 10th anniversary photo thing. Thank you for taking the time to make such an amazing video!!!
Dang! I'm really glad you liked it Heather. So what I did is entered in a console command to turn off AI detection. So they pretty much didn't know I was there. Otherwise yeah this would have been nigh impossible to make lol. Your very welcome, and thank you for watching :)
@@LoopyLongplays 2 years later and I still play this almost every day at work. just as background sounds or have it full screen on my second monitor and just casually see all the beauty. If your views have tripled over the past two years, I definitely am at least one of the ones contributing. Still my most favorite video there is. Thanks again for your dedication to making this. It definitely helps time pass by at work :)
I love the little interactions with random NPC's in the wild you have. Maiq or Babette for instance! (Didn't know that random encounter with Babette was a thing)
There’s a lot of relationship memories I have tied up with this game. That relationship is in the process of ending very poorly. I haven’t played this game in a long time and hearing the music is bittersweet at first but it’s a good reminder of happier times.
With this playing through my headphones, I feel like I could finally take those long, aimless walks that I used to take to clear my head. The divines know I need it sorely now.
Needless to say, this is absolutely gorgeous. If I had a big screen to cast to, I would love to just have this playing in the background. Amazing work.
HANDS DOWN the best walk through on the web. thank you so much for putting so much care into this wonderful adventure. its my go to everyday it runs for hours. beautiful work! Keep them coming - watching from Canada
Thank you for this walk across. Sometimes I want to walk inside the game. Just because of the atmosphere. And it so nice to have ability to feet it even if I have no access to any platform to play Skyrim. Just simple silent walk across.. This video is such a gem!
YESSSS, I've been using your last video from longwalk in Skyrim every night to sleep and relax myself, now i have a different one, thanks so much my friend really appreciate it
The soundtrack for Skyrim is top tier. I don’t think any other game soundtrack can compare in terms of how immersive it made everything feel. Hats off to Jeremy Soule. I hope he comes back for ES6.
I put this on at work in the background and just listen to the ambiance. When I need to decompress for a few minutes I pull it out of the background and watch the video stroll along. Thanks for the time you put into making this video.
Not long ago you made the pc version. And then someone give you advice to make the console version. I am very grateful for this video. Good job and thank you to made my day a little bit better because if this video.
I listen to this whenever I study and I love reaching the end and think to myself "Now I've done another 11 hours" and then I start it right back up again from the start and I am truly grateful for this wonderful video that really puts me in a study mood
This is no doubt the best ambient walk around Skyrim. I like the videos with ambient sounds and music but this is next level. Really feels like a man journey and I enjoy having it as background video when working from time to time. Makes me fell cozy and relaxed. really well done
I love these videos so much for studying, they are so peaceful and helpful to keep me focused. Would you consider doing short walkthroughs of individual caves, locations, solstheim of skyrim?
This is by far the coolest thing I've ever randomly searched while looking for background ambience for studying. I LOVED Skyrim (all three playthroughs of it, hahaha), and this was an amazing find. Thank you SO MUCH for creating this!
Picked this video to help me study, and it made me smile real big when you walked into the inn at the very beginning. I love how interactive you are with this!
Damnit!! Now I have to buy this game for the third time. Everytime I see that they release a better version of Skyrim I roll my eyes and then I find my self playing once again.
Maybe this gonna sound wierd but i love to watch this whole video around Christmas days. Looking your vid on my big TV, headphones on with noise cancelling so i can't be interrupted and enjoying the view, the ambient sound, the music. Thank you so much for uploading / making this video, really much appreciated my friend!
I never knew Babette could be randomly encountered out in the wild like that, what a great little thought that was, since that would be how she needs to sustain herself. I guess I fast traveled too much when I played.
I had no clue she did that either. I was wondering to myself... "Who is this strange girl". And I was pleasantly surprised to find it was none other than Babette.
Skyrim is so nostalgic for me. It reminds me of waking up with my dad, putting on slippers, opening the windows when it was cool outside, eating breakfast and just playing video games (obviously this one mostly). Lol. Memories are so great yet so painful.
Thank you for these videos. Have never had the computing power to play this game, or others of the like. So this is how I'm still able to enjoy the marvelous architecture of this game. Thanks again.

@@LoopyLongplays Hop ! Random here, frankly Island and some part of siberia are your best bets to find these landscapes and this atmosphere.
I never played Skyrim and know little about it, but I love watching and listening to Skyrim ambiences every now and then. It's so well made, really enjoyable.
You're getting the best part.
This is just what I listen to now, at work. Nothing else, just this. Over and over. Every day. Thank you for your service!
I clicked on this just to see how it looked… two hours later and my tea is cold and I have forgotten what the hell I was meant to be doing. This is going to be awesome for the occasional bouts of insomnia. Nice work Loopy!
This game has a profound impact on people. This soundtrack stays locked in my faves. Thank you.
I feel sad... remembering all of that years, Skyrim thank you..
you actually take the time to stop and allow the viewer to take it all in. super relaxing - great work! great sound track and nicely mixed volume wise
Amazing, engaging, relaxing, healing, and it evokes gaming memories from the past. Sigh! Great job.
Riften will always be my favorite. The town is so beautiful, and you get all the autumn colors
This helped me study for my exams. I simply looped this video and sat at my desk studying for hours on end. Thank you!
The fact that you took time to do this is astounding. Wow. That’s awesome.
Been looking for something like this to put on in the background/fall asleep to. Skyrim will always be one of my favorite games of all time. Well done!
I can't tell you how much I love this. I put it on at work and just enjoy the sounds and scenery. It's very calming.
I’m happy you enjoy this walk while working away. I put it on sometimes too haha
It definitely helps time pass by at work :)
what a fantastic discovery. Thank you youtube algorithm. Loopy, this is something I think I'll come back to many times. Good on ya.
Glad this is getting recommend, and I'm very happy to hear that Gus. I hope it continues to bring you relaxation :)
I love the little interactions with random NPC's in the wild you have. Maiq or Babette for instance! (Didn't know that random encounter with Babette was a thing)
14:15 LMAO is was sooo funny how you just randomly drank Ale while sitting in front of the fire.... idk it seem hilarious for some reason 😂😂
There’s a lot of relationship memories I have tied up with this game. That relationship is in the process of ending very poorly. I haven’t played this game in a long time and hearing the music is bittersweet at first but it’s a good reminder of happier times.
Maybe instead of playing skyrim so much you could have salvaged your relationship
@@xymoriintus Oof
@@xymoriintusmaybe they played together. Quit assuming shit.

This is insane! So much respect for taking the time to do this!
With this playing through my headphones, I feel like I could finally take those long, aimless walks that I used to take to clear my head. The divines know I need it sorely now.
I woke up and found this!!! It looks so amazing the view is one of a kind
You are the greatest!!!
It's crazy what an Enb can do, really improves the lighting. And thank ya, glad you can enjoy another :)
@@LoopyLongplays it makes it look way better than vanilla skyrim and the lighting is so great
The sights, the sounds; everything is perfect! Thank you for sharing this
Love the fact that the HUD and crosshair are gone. Makes it so much more immersive, thank you.
Thanks for minimal ads and zero yapping. This is bliss while I WFH
I love it! The weather changes and the rain sounds! Everything is gorgeous!
Needless to say, this is absolutely gorgeous. If I had a big screen to cast to, I would love to just have this playing in the background. Amazing work.
Thanks!
Is this considered my 10,000 daily walking steps? 😁
Yes
If not, Loopy at least deserves it lol.
I just started playing this game all over again for the first time in years. It just makes you feel warm and at home.
ThQ for this beautiful proyect. This version is trully an upgrade. It sounds even better than the previous one. Keep up the excellent work
HANDS DOWN the best walk through on the web. thank you so much for putting so much care into this wonderful adventure. its my go to everyday it runs for hours. beautiful work! Keep them coming - watching from Canada
A fellow Canadian eh 😉 And I’m so happy you enjoy it this much 😁
I've had this on repeat during work for the past week.
My dog loves when I put this on to do homework or during a telehealth appointment. She goes right on the couch and falls asleep next to me ❤
Thank you for this walk across. Sometimes I want to walk inside the game. Just because of the atmosphere. And it so nice to have ability to feet it even if I have no access to any platform to play Skyrim. Just simple silent walk across.. This video is such a gem!
Working from home you have been such a great contributor to my work efficiency… please make more open world walk around greatest thing ever
Glad to hear they've helped your efficiency. And I'm planning on many more :D
I don't know why but the walk past Fort Amol is my favorite, well done loopy.
Thank you and it is a nice looking forest, close to the river 😁
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this!
Thanks so much for doing this walkthrough. I miss this place all the time and now i can just turn on your video and feel like I'm home. 😊
YESSSS, I've been using your last video from longwalk in Skyrim every night to sleep and relax myself, now i have a different one, thanks so much my friend really appreciate it
Haha no problem, I'm happy the last and this one can help ya relax :)
@@LoopyLongplays yo broo i still watching it
The moment with the dragon in Dawnstar was absolutely magical!!! I really like these types of vids you make
The soundtrack for Skyrim is top tier. I don’t think any other game soundtrack can compare in terms of how immersive it made everything feel. Hats off to Jeremy Soule. I hope he comes back for ES6.
The patience for making this is outstanding, Thanks a lot ❤
I put this on at work in the background and just listen to the ambiance. When I need to decompress for a few minutes I pull it out of the background and watch the video stroll along. Thanks for the time you put into making this video.
This is so beautiful, thank you! I love the world of Skyrim, it’s a great game to escape into.
I love walking on the treadmill and pretending like I'm exploring Skyrim all over again! Thank you sir you are amazing!
I always come back to this video to chill and relax just to enjoy how precious life truly is 🖤
That it is, we gotta try to appreciate our time on this planet. Taking moments to relax and listen to music that calms you is a great way :)
and it is in FPS view, thank you so much! This is truly immersive!
Listening to ambience like this makes the work day bearable, thank you for making these
Thank you for doing this! It took a great amount of dedication! I look forward to your next Skyrim walkthrough! :)
You rightfully should be proud of making this. This is so beautiful
Not long ago you made the pc version. And then someone give you advice to make the console version. I am very grateful for this video. Good job and thank you to made my day a little bit better because if this video.
-4 right now.. I can feel Skyrim right now.. brrr I played as a Nord.. I couldn't in real life live in Skyrim. Love the videos. Keep warm out there.
Excelent job, Loopy! And thanks a lot for giving us such a wonderful trip through the beautiful landscapes of Skyrim.
I listen to this whenever I study and I love reaching the end and think to myself "Now I've done another 11 hours" and then I start it right back up again from the start and I am truly grateful for this wonderful video that really puts me in a study mood
Muwah chef's kiss. I love you so much for this. It takes me right back to the good old days when I'd fall asleep on my brother's bed while he played.
Haha you read my mind. I had a few locations in mind such as solstheim and the forgotten vale.
@@LoopyLongplays and Sovngarde i hope!
@@LoopyLongplays and maybe Dayspring Canyon i would love that. alright going to sleep to this video goodnight 💤
Hey, thanks for taking the time to do this...again. I have it one while I work and it's exactly what I was looking for
This is by far the coolest thing I've ever randomly searched while looking for background ambience for studying. I LOVED Skyrim (all three playthroughs of it, hahaha), and this was an amazing find. Thank you SO MUCH for creating this!
I love this so much. I'm in school for anesthesia right now and I've listened to this while studying for almost every exam
These are mods.
Finally one of these with a smooth turn rate. Thanks!
Exactly that is what I search, I love it, Thank You so much for this Masterpiece.
Wonderful World, this was Our real World.
No better music to put on for relaxing or sleeping. I love the soundtrack, I love the game.
@@LoopyLongplays You sure seem familiar with this notorious criminal, Loopy. It's like she expects you to know where this sanctum is. ;)
My three year old just fell asleep listening to this. :-)
