I’m so happy I can help in that way. It warms my heart ❤️ And honestly I can’t imagine what it’s like being a mother but I hope things aren’t to stressful for you and things are going as best as they can be 😊
Skyrim makes me feel like i am at my cozy peaceful home. That is why Skyrim is still best of the best for me. Thanks mate for this wonderful work, i am using it when i am studying.
The Dawnstar Black Door jolts me out of a dead sleep every night when I fall asleep to this video. It's so unpleasant and well done, my subconscious hears the shift in tone, no music no birds, and thinks I'm in danger.
Not to get emotional, but I put your music on in the background while I work and take care of my elderly mom. I still remember fighting Astrid while she made dinner. I struggle with growing old/up and honestly your videos bring more tears than happiness. But you give me a time, a time when the world wasn’t craziness and over working and a time when I could not worry about tomorrow bc mom and dad were there. God bless sorry if this is a sad post but I had to get this off my chest. Love all you Skyrim folks especially those that struggle with growing up. You’re not alone and I’m here if you need.
I have finished my Masters Degree while listening to your music, which was a stressful part of my life as I needed to work full time as well. I owe my sanity to you. Keep being your awesome self.
Bought this game at launch. Although it may look dated today, it's just as immersive as ever. Crazy the staying power Skyrim has had for more than a decade.
This Skyrim content is so good Loopy, I love all the lighting and atmosphere mods you put on. Enhancing the environment without changing it too much from what we love
I actually love it when I watch/listen to this, and other Oblivion clips like this, that the comments are all positive, and no hate... I am guessing it is because the haters are too stupid to appreciate this film, sound, and game... Thank You for posting this clip and others like it.
Of course I came here after finishing the oblivion video. Skyrim's ambient sounds are so good like all the people talking and the waterfalls and wind through leaves and etc. It also has my favorite tavern music so I'm glad you took your time there Another amazing video 👍
This is how I want to "play" the game. No monsters. Just take in the good ambiance of alternate world. The pace is just right that I get to see the details of the surrounding and landscape, that brings back memories of me running through the land a decade ago. Now without the labour of killing monsters. Saw Urthgerd on the horse coming towards me at 10:48 and I thought, "oh, is that the girl who I fought and submitted in the bar?" When she rode past me without recognizing me, I was a little disappointed yet reliefed at the same time. Since I didn't want to spend time to engage in any coversation, and her not recognizing me made me feel like a time traveler from a parallel world. I installed Lost Legacy Mod Pack (1500+ mods or something) then uninstalled, because I didn't have the time to battle the monsters... Now, this video gives me a big part of what I want from the game, without all the hassels. Thanks Loopy. Enjoy living the moments you lived though. 😄
To anyone who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. 🙏
As I Please’ “SOMEWHERE or other-I think it is in the preface to Saint Joan-Bernard Shaw remarks that we are more gullible and superstitious today than we were in the Middle Ages, and as an example of modern credulity he cites the widespread belief that the earth is round. The average man, says Shaw, can advance not a single reason for thinking that the earth is round. He merely swallows this theory because there is something about it that appeals to the twentieth-century mentality. Now, Shaw is exaggerating, but there is something in what he says, and the question is worth following up, for the sake of the light it throws on modern knowledge. Just why do we believe that the earth is round? I am not speaking of the few thousand astronomers, geographers and so forth who could give ocular proof, or have a theoretical knowledge of the proof, but of the ordinary newspaper-reading citizen, such as you or me. As for the Flat Earth theory, I believe I could refute it. If you stand by the seashore on a clear day, you can see the masts and funnels of invisible ships passing along the horizons. This phenomenon can only be explained by assuming that the earth’s surface is curved. But it does not follow that the earth is spherical. Imagine another theory called the Oval Earth theory, which claims that the earth is shaped like an egg. What can I say against it? Against the Oval Earth man, the first card I can play is the analogy of the sun and moon. The Oval Earth man promptly answers that I don’t know, by my own observation, that those bodies are spherical. I only know that they are round, and they may perfectly well be flat discs. I have no answer to that one. Besides, he goes on, what reason have I for thinking that the earth must be the same shape as the sun and moon? I can’t answer that one either. My second card is the earth’s shadow: when cast on the moon during eclipses, it appears to be the shadow of a round object. But how do I know, demands the Oval Earth man, that eclipses of the moon are caused by the shadow of the earth? The answer is that I don’t know, but have taken this piece of information blindly from newspaper articles and science booklets. Defeated in the minor exchanges, I now play my queen of trumps: the opinion of the experts. The Astronomer Royal, who ought to know, tells me that the earth is round. The Oval Earth man covers the queen with his king. Have I tested the Astronomer Royal’s statement, and would I even know a way of testing it? Here I bring out my ace. Yes, I do know one test. The astronomers can foretell eclipses, and this suggests that their opinions about the solar system are pretty sound. I am therefore justified in accepting their say-so about the shape of the earth. If the Oval Earth man answers-what I believe is true-that the ancient Egyptians, who thought the sun goes round the earth, could also predict eclipses, then bang goes my ace. I have only one card left: navigation. People can sail ships round the world, and reach the places they aim at, by calculations which assume that the earth is spherical. I believe that finishes the Oval Earth man, though even then he may possibly have some kind of counter. It will be seen that my reasons for thinking that the earth is round are rather precarious ones. Yet this is an exceptionally elementary piece of information. On most other questions I should have to fall back on the expert much earlier, and would be less able to test his pronouncements. And much the greater part of our knowledge is at this level. It does not rest on reasoning or on experiment, but on authority. And how can it be otherwise, when the range of knowledge is so vast that the expert himself is an ignoramous as soon as he strays away from his own speciality? Most people, if asked to prove that the earth is round, would not even bother to produce the rather weak arguments I have outlined above. They would start off by saying that ’everyone knows’ the earth to be round, and if pressed further, would become angry. In a way Shaw is right. This is a credulous age, and the burden of knowledge which we now have to carry is partly responsible.”
I thought you'd love to know that the UA-cam algorithm did you a solid. I am sick with the flu, fell asleep to Grandma Shirley's photography series because I found it soothing and woke up to this playing! What a lovely surprise and just what I needed. I subscribed :)
UA-cams been recommending this to a lot of people these past 2 weeks, I didn’t know it was recommending so wide as Grandma Shirley’s ☺️ Thanks for watching and subbing. I hope you enjoy your stay 😁
Thank you ❤️ it takes time, effort and dedication to do what you do for all of us. It is a personal escape/ safe place for me when I’m watching or even listen to your videos. You deserve all the likes, views and amazing comments of love. Again thank you very much ❤️

I put this one my desk iPad at work to remind me of better times in my life. When I was able to play this game for weeks on end and not a slave to a job as a desk jockey. It's sad and helps at the same time.
Thanks Loopy for all your wonderful walkthroughs. I Love them and they are very, very, very, relaxing!!! I LOVE YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK YOU DO FOR US !!! YOUR ALWAYS IN MY PRAYS MY LOOPY!!!!
I happened to be really depressed and full of anxiety when UA-cam played this video for me automatically and man did it bring some relief. Thank you for the awesome content!
Thanks for all the Vids, Loopy. I use to have the Skyrim Legendary Edition but was never able to complete it for a few reasons. It does me good to see someone so dedicated to completing such an amazing game. I hope you'll make a new vid soon about the Civil War, from the way you've done everything so far like with joining the Dark Brotherhood & killing the Emperor. I think the Stormcloaks are the better option.
its nice to hear this when i dont have time anymore to play skyrim. all i did in 8th grade up to literally highschool would draw and play skyrim. something about this game was that amazing and i hope i have that much time to give to bethesdas new games.
I absolutely deeply love your videos of this kind, and I wished for long for someone to do not only THIS, but also in the way you do this. I think that even with so many people liking it, people still not get enough idea how much those videos are HELPFUL to some of us. Easy, nice, calming, perfect for background noise, especially because this is something familiar so gives ease of mind on another level. And somehow fill (at least partially) that need of playing the game even when I don't have time / energy to play the game. This is great feeling. Now I'm waiting until great day come that you will decide on doing something like that in Gothic 1 / 2 / 3 ;)
oh my gosh, the set of graphics mods you used for this one is the best yet! Thanks for another banger. Dunno how I missed the last couple longplays. Catching up now!
Still one of my favorite single player game in the series. The music and the ambiance continue to bring peace and calm, with the occasional thrill. I play this game through at least once a year.
Skyrim is most atmospheric open world game ever made no doubt. And soundtrack is perfection even better then Morrowind.Bethesda will never make a masterpiece like this that's for sure.
Gosh, I would LOVE to know which addons you use or even just a few of the addons you use!!! I just sat down and maximized the window and saw the most beautiful vision of Markarth I have EVER seen!! Suffice it to say, I subscribed instantly, and thank you for this amazing video. ❤
Hey Loopy, I'm a long time dweller, listening to your Oblivion Walk when I can't sleep. I've been wondering, did you play Ghost of Tsushima? It has beautiful scenery and wonderful music, it would fit right in your playlist of relaxing walks. Keep up the great work and have a nice week!
I wish so much that a real life Skyrim would be built, if I was super rich, I'd buy a large piece of land in the mountains and have it built, and people could stay overnight there, and there would be year around workers living in it, and complete with all the music and sound effects, I want to be in this place with all my soul, it takes me out of the real world, and into another realm of total peace and contentment
I used to be an adventurer like you... then i took an arrow to my Playstation. It hit hard, too. It felt worse than finding out who stole all the sweetrolls..
Love these for background noise during cleaning or Bible study. I'm ADD... like, actually diagnosed 😂 I'm not just being "cute"... So slight background noise really helps me focus on things. It has to be JUST noisy enough but not TOO noisy. It also helps if it's familiar noise (My husband and I played Skyrim for, like, 6 years straight when it came out 😂). If it's too novel it just interrupts me because I'm like, "Oh, what's that? What's that? Maybe I should just pay attention to this new thing instead. This really hits the spot for that sentimental, homey, familiar feel. Thanks!
I want less humans on this planet and more cozy, warm and beautiful places like this. With night sky full of stars and good talk about the universe and scientific theories on what life is and what death is.
Hey my guy, been a while since I've checked into your channel (my apologies). But, seeing this Skyrim Walk makes me wonder if you were up to play more ESO for the channel? I absolutely loved your Longplays and the game itself. Hope to see it soon!
Thanks Loopy, for a young mom who doesn’t have time to game your long plays fill my home with such a nice ambiance.
