That’s a disciplined decision to let a piece of property like that go, and awesome you have the partner in your wife to support you, the family and company. What a blessing in having that support. We appreciate you. All the best to you.
my man striped a bed of weeds and it looks great!
Wow, it's amazing how stripes can make a lawn look good.
Man I’d be walking that property praying in the SPIRIT! Love the quiet and the birds!!
Enjoyed the video Mr Pete. That mowed grass looked good for not being looked at for 6 months. You can def tell the difference in the qualities of the grass seeds. Enjoy all your videos.
Your welcome down here in Texas, would love to see what you would do with a 9 month long growing season.
Thanks for the update Pete. Makes sense to me. I’m not a gambler either. Especially with my home and property. The right property will come to you and you will be able to build your forever home along with an amazing yard to create
Appreciate your sir. Correct and wise move to have your income derived from the success of your content and website. You put the information "where the goats can get it" and your subscribers have success! Got a complement on my turf yesterday and I just put a neighbor on to your website and channel. Story for another day....I got almost got in trouble at a big box store telling someone not to buy what was on the shelf and instead go to GCI Turf Academy. Turns out they were a rep for that specific company! 😃 They were gracious! Hey...Imma spread the GCI Turf gospel where ever I can. 🤣
PS....I also noticed the newer GCI TTTF is darker than the previous version. I am also maintaining a lower HOC than standard for TTTF. Was inspired by Cam from Elevated Lawnscapes. He has been testing this with the newer GCI TTTF and having some good results so far..
💪🏻
@@tonynichols2872 it can handle it
I was extremely picky on our last house purchase. Needed a sizable chunk of land, neighbors not to close but not a mile away, room for a big shop (1960sf built last year) and a small community feel.
Go for what you've worked hard for!
Keep it and build your home. Plenty other opportunities to make lawn care videos elsewhere
“Here’s my land that I’ve abandoned for 6 months”…Looks better than my yard that I’m fighting to get good. My head is hanging low
I think you need a Pond or a small Lake to pump your water out of Pete the way ur talking how much water u will need. think of a golf course they generally don't rely seldom on just a well they have a large pond or many small and medium ponds to use water from. A large nursery is another example they all irrigate out of ponds, deep ones and they run water constantly but they make sure it all makes its way back into the pond
The KGB blue heat we planted. Just got a fungus. I believe it was over watered. Trying to get the lawn grown in. During the worst time of year.
Early summer late spring
Our Michigan falls have been funky
Though, I LOVE the Spreader Elite!! So soft and cushioned when taken care pf
Love this guy! God bless him.
1000 foot well is crazy. Best of luck on finding the right piece of the pie.
Was looking forward to it. Keep the vids coming!
Good video as usual. And a big Amen to looking forward. Patience is a virtue!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the video, Mr. Pete
Looking good for 6 months
Love me some GCI Turf!
Pete is the Superman of lawn care,😅😅
Well said Mr. Pete, we didn’t need the explanation but it’s appreciated.
Much love brotha Pete. Land or no land, you are a child of the most High King! What a security blanket!!
Amen!
Good things come to those who wait. The next property will be more amazing than this one, and you'll get everything you ever dreamed it would be and some .
Pete, you're such a positive soul to watch and listen to. And such an honest, straight forward person with your info, be it lawn care or The Lord. God Bless you.
I appreciate you friend.
Smart decision!
God bless you sir
You need a plot with a pond/lake. I am looking for one here in GA.
Wow wells over 1000 feet! I’m sorry to hear that this location will not work out.
I’ve been watching for years so this land not working out hurt me deeply.
How about that new GCI turf blend though?!?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Smart fella
I thought about all those things you mentioned for having enough water, and my thought was the same, it wouldn't be worth risking it
🐐
First Aussie 😁. It is what it is 😎
Funny how the weeds never seem to get diseased, lol
True this
What’s the address of the property or a link to where it’s being sold.
Sad that the farm did not work out
Why not mulch the clippings?
I don’t own a mulching kit
How many gpm are you looking to have for irrigation?
Minimum 15-20 GPM bare minimum
@@GCITurf you're going to run that much per zone or looking to run multiple zones at once. I have 20k I'm looking to irrigate currently on a 10-12 GPM well pump
NLT Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
I pray that the Lord gives you the desires of your heart brother.
🙌🏻
How many acres is the property?
16
I don’t understand, you had a non irrigated fescue lawn that was dark green and everything was working out
Praying for Gods will in you and your families lives. Remain faithful and God will provide!
Pete I think it’s silly your didn’t go through with this based on water for grass… your could have been fine..
I think it’s silly you didn’t listen to the entire video where I explained myself in detail. It’s just grass. The decision was based on my income and providing for my family and 3 employees.
Exactly now the property is getting sub divided. Nothing wrong with it.
Man bro you could make turd look shiny
LOL i appreciate that friend
Many people would call that a nice lawn.
You still own GCI Turf Company but don't get any money? Who gets the profits from the company?
My 9 employees that work in the local business servicing yards.
The online portion of GCI Turf pays my salary now. I appreciate yall very much
